  1. Their comment on Kincaid seems a little off. I don't think he'll be required to block defensive ends much. He'll be on the field as a receiver in 12 personnel groups.
  2. Thanks for the write-up, Gunner. Appreciate it. I did see Spector stop an Indy run play stone dead on a 3rd and 1 (I think in 4th quarter.) On next play, Ingram blew up a run to turn the ball over on downs.
  3. Link from my youtubetv account says NFL NETWORK will show Bills-colts replay on Aug. 13 at 6 a.m. Not sure if that's Eastern or Central (I live in Illinois). Nothing yet on Bills' other preseason games.
  4. To clarify: I know Josh has worked out on his own with teammates in previous years. I hadn't seen any reports of him doing it this year.
  5. Nice article about Davis in today's Buffalo News. Details his offseason workouts. One surprise nugget at end: Prior to training camp, he want to California to work out with Josh, Kyle Allen and Matt Barkley. Also in attendance were Damien Harris, Sherfield and Shakir. First I've heard of Allen working out on his own with offensive mates.
  6. Good point. Maybe it's not Brown. Maybe Groot is going to have a monster season.
  7. Hines not perfect fielding kicks. Muffed a punt vs. Dolphins. Dodson recovered for Bills. Misjudged another punt and was fortunate to catch it as it hit him in the face mask as he was falling backwards around the 5. Unable to field a bouncing kickoff...fortunately it tumbled into end zone and he downed it there.
  8. According to NY Post (via PFT) Keyshawn signed multi-year $18 million contract last year. He gets paid anyway despite layoff. Who at ESPN negotiated that kind of deal?
  9. Great post. I seriously wonder if a legitimate source "close to the Bills locker room" would talk to a Boston Globe reporter and not to any local reporters. The truth is, teams keep a tight lid on info. Reporters used to be able to walk through a team facility, talk to trainers, equipment managers and other insiders without a team media official listening in. Access is tightly controlled. And other outlets jumping on a single source story from the Globe is BS.
  10. OTA's skedded June 5, 6 and 8. Mandatory minicamp June 13-15.
  11. Re: Gilliam. Andy Reid says Chiefs not gonna have a fullback on roster this year. Says an extra tight end can take on blocking role. Special teams changing with new kickoff rule, so if fullback also played special teams his role would be further reduced.
  12. Per PFT and the Athletic, Rodgers injury occurred in pre-practice conditioning drill and he sat out rest of session.
  13. I think it was his hammy in week 2. He was sprinting all out to escort Milano on his pick 6 against Tannehill and went down with no contact. He hurt his shoulder later in the season while trying to make a diving tackle on a scrambling Mac Jones.
  14. If he makes the Browns better fine. Let the teams in the AFC Central beat each other up. Anything that hurts Bengals playoff chances is OK.
  15. Williams had a good season at RT when he was on a 1-year "prove it" deal. Then the Bills paid him and he lost the RT job to Brown. He bounced inside to guard and Bills cut him after the season.
  16. That would be cool if it happens. Doesn't Shavers run a 4.3? Size and speed. The optimist in me says "why not."
  17. Good point, especially about playoff refereeing. Problem I see is that after Diggs, Davis, Shakir, Harty and Sherfield, only one of those tall receivers will make the roster. Kincaid will make as a tight end, but Shorter, Shavers, Wayne and Patmon could be fighting for one spot. Although there could a surprise cut. Bills could end up with a deep practice squad, assuming none of the tall receivers get poached. Will make for an interesting camp.
  18. Betting Mazi Smith. Or a trade down if Beane finds a partner.
  19. Wow. As bad as Vikes defense was last year, they go WR.
  20. Good point. Colts drafted Van Demark but cut him to poach Tenuta from Bills. Bills then grabbed Van Demark for practice squad. I also have hopes either Van Demark or Anderson show progress after a year with Bills training staff.
  21. Neal tied for team lead with 7 tackles on special teams. 2nd in special teams snaps with 316.
  22. Per Buffalo News. Siran Neal due a $400,000 roster bonus Sunday. If he is released, it saves $2.246 million in cap space for 2023.
  23. Agree. Have followed this thread since Monday. All these rumors linking Bills to various players are coming from agents trying to drum up offers for their clients or media trying to generate clicks or wishful thinking by fans. I don't think the Bills or any other team are going to blab about who their interested in unless it's a smokescreen to mask their true intent.
  24. Haven't heard anything on these players. Could this be the year we say goodbye to Taiwan Jones? Crowder Hart Jaquon Johnson Taiwan Jones Klein Kumerow Shaq Lawson Marlowe Jordan Phillips Quessenbury Saffold Singletary Sweeney VanRoten
  25. Much of that season, Bates was the only backup center. Feliciano was the other backup, but he was injured, so Bates was kept in reserve in case Morse got hurt. By time Ike got hurt in the game at New England, Feliciano was healthy, but Bates got the nod at guard. O-line play picked up when Bates got his shot.
