  1. Will Bears favor shipping him to AFC or will best offer win? Might not matter as he is likely a 2023 rental.
  2. Asking the same question. Did they have any big injuries on defense? Cousins and Burrow just shredded them.
  3. Barkley had started off the field after the run on first down but they waved him back on. He then ran on 2nd down and then came out. I think he signaled that he was gassed and needed a break.
  4. Bills actually seemed to pile up some yards after catch. Shakir, Davis and Kincaid all picked up extra yards on the night.
  5. That play bugged me too. After the sack Josh gestured like he was expecting a flag for Offside. I wonder if Bucs player jumped and ball was snapped to catch him in neutral zone. But the Amazon prime team never addressed it after commercial. But why get cute there? Run out the clock on the quarter and Bills start 4th with chances to continue the drive and put the game out of reach.
  6. Curious about the end of 3rd quarter. 2nd and 1 at Tampa 39. Clock running out, looked like Bills were trying to draw Bucs offside. But they snap the ball with 2 seconds on the clock. Josh gets sacked. Looks like half Bills offense didn't move. Why even snap it? Go to 4th quarter, you have 2 chances to pick up a first down, maybe extend the drive, kick a field goal, and eat more clock. Doesn't make sense.
  7. I think Jags have had their best shot. Dorsey figured out what they were doing on D. Our defense just needs to hold on and Bills will take it.
  8. On Irvin: Don't know why he still has a job. His little hotel mishap aside, he brings nothing to telecast except bluster and buffoonry. His shelf life is long overdue. Time to bring in a younger ex-player "expert."
  9. Same crew that screwed the Bills in Jacksonville a couple of years ago.
  10. Exactly. Last week, the Raiders had ONE possession in 3rd quarter. I realize 9-minute scoring drives are rare, but 6- and 7-minute drives keep the opposing offense on the bench and give the Bills defense a rest.
  11. Turned it on briefly to hear end of Alex Smith's take on Allen. Next "expert" started on Diggs and Sauce. Turned it off. Will wait until game starts and watch Mannings. These pregame guys don't do their homework, and if ESPN has researchers do it for them, they don't read it. A joke.
  12. Good point. I guess I was making a lazy generalization. The Rams traded him for Stafford because they felt they needed someone better to win the Super Bowl. I don't think he is bad. As you say, he's league average. Last year, he played above average.
  13. Goff threw for 250 last night but Lions offense didn't look as good as it did last year. Was it Chiefs' defense? Or is Goff regressing back to his old form?
  14. Wow. He weighed 370 in off-season before losing 40 pounds by July.
  15. I, too, have been a fan since the '60s. I've never enjoyed being a Bills fan more than the last 5 years. Even the 13 seconds and the Cincy beat down can't take away the joy from watching Allen play. I can't let reports or rumors about how he trains, eats or conducts himself detract from that feeling.
  16. The pundits only see bright and shiny objects. "Ooh, the Dolphins signed Jalen Ramsey. Ooh, the Dolphins have Vic Fangio. Ooh, the Jets signed Rodgers and Cook. They're much better." Meanwhile, the Bills upgraded their o-line, added players to take heat off Diggs and put more variety in their scheme. And PS: last time Diggs went up against Ramsey, he took him to school. Ditto on Allen vs. Fangio's defense. Oh, and Ramsey starts the season on IR for 4 games.
  17. Part of Orr's reasoning is Bills' pass rush is dependent on Von. I'm hoping Rousseau, Floyd & Co. will prove him wrong.
  18. If you don't like my posts, use the ignore list function. I'm putting you on mine.
  19. Cards just traded one of those tackles to Houston. Have a nice day.
  20. Fact: A surplus of tackles. Whether or not they want to trade them is conjecture. Maybe they like going 4-5 deep at OT. Maybe they want to see if they can get a draft pick or a player at a position of need. All I did was relate what Gaughan reported. You chose to nitpick what I related. Get a life.
  21. I just dealt with the facts as related by Gaughan. The part you cited was his opinion, which, as know, are plentiful on this board.
  22. AJ. .. 6.5 sacks, plus some other disruptive plays that don't show up on stat sheet while playing as a backup. Ralonzo made a good point about Basham. I would not want to trade either. Plus AJ might not be attractive to another team cause his rookie deal is ending. Maybe Bills just ride it out with Van Demark and Anderson. I just don't think they'll find a stud backup OT after cuts unless they pay a heavy price. Who knows, maybe Van Demark, Anderson or Gourage could be our next Wyatt Teller waiting in the wings.
  23. If Basham is on the verge of a breakthru season, would not want to see that deal. Given lack of quality OT's throughout the league, I think a deal for a backup OT at this point is wishful thinking.
  24. Buffalo News Mark Gaughan says Arizona has surplus of OT's. Josh Jones, a 2020 3rd rounder and Kelvin Beachum, an 11-year starter. Basham trade?
