  1. I replayed moments in my head all night. Hardly slept. The hardest part for me is just that the season is over. Devastated. But ready to do it again next season.
  2. I think he got hit but I still don't disagree. My main point was I would have used Allen's legs the rest of the way. It was successful all game. And yes Josh could have just run it himself. I think the inability for the defensive line to get an ounce of pressure on Mahomes and the Diggs/Sherfield drops cost us the game so I don't want to put too much on those last 3 playcalls.
  3. Once we got to the 2 minute warning (and the play before), the only play I may have called was a Josh run. Worst case scenario is it drains clock and/or forces the chiefs to use a timeout and gives Bass a shorter field goal. Best case wss he continued having success and drained the clock leading to a game winning TD. Or I throw a simple short route to Kincaid Joe Brady called a great game but I didn't love the last 3 plays
  4. I didn't love the James Cook run on 1st down that led to the 2 minute warning. The chiefs had stopped that play a few times. And at that point the ball stays in Josh's hands for the rest of the game for me. I also think we didn't use Kincaid enough
  5. I blame Bass among quite a few others. But he definitely needs blame. And a lot of it.
  6. If you want to win a Super Bowl you have to make plays Diggs didn't Sherfield didn't The entire defensive line didn't Bass didn't This team had injuries. Those injuries mattered. But at the end of the day if one or two guys make a play we are headed to Baltimore
  7. I know there are some injuries but the defense has been awful
  8. Might as well blitz. Mahomes is picking the back 7 apart
  9. This half is going to be all Pacheco and kelce. Gotta shut it down
  10. You're gonna have to tackle with a little more effort and strength today
  11. Football fans absolutely. Most of who will already watch the game no matter what. But an entire, new, untapped fanbase would tune in for Taylor the Chiefs. I am really never a "blame the refs" or "conspiracy" guy. But this one actually concerns me.
  12. The fact that the Peacock game last week was a big success by the numbers gives a lot of fuel to the "Get Taylor to the Super Bowl" conspiracy. We will see what happens. The NFL is embracing her presence and we will see how important that is this weekend.
  13. Whats the Chiefs injury report look like? I've seen the report but don't pay enough attention to know who's actually at risk of not playing and if it's significant
  14. I do expect McDermott to play the injury report as discreetly as allowed by NFL rules. Still not sure guys like Rapp, Davis, Bernard, Spector will actually play but I'm not putting a ton into practice reports yet.
  15. And if Davis is out, our 2 callups could be Isabella and Hauck. You have to consider IR for Martin or Davis IMO
  16. The Chiefs are good, they have a good coach, they've won it all a few times. They know what it takes to win in the playoffs (although we'll see about on the road in the playoffs). They have a really good defense. So in that sense, I feel pretty nervous. The Chiefs and Bills know each other well so both coaches will be prepared for basically everything. In that sense, I feel neutral. But the Bills are at home in front of a crowd that is going to impact the game. Josh played really really well against Pittsburgh. The offensive line has been good and healthy basically all season. Shakir appears to be ascending. Kincaid had a slight slump but he seems to be back to being a serious weapon. And James Cook has cooled off but he still gives a run game that defenses have to respect. So in that sense, I feel great. Shawn Hochuli has the game so that that sense I feel pretty bad. The health of the Bills defense is huge. Douglas, Dodson, and Johnson all play, the Bills win. The front 4 has to get to Mahomes.
  17. I would've rather Fournette punted
  18. Looks like we have Hochuli for the game. Uh oh
  19. Willing to pay list price or above for a ticket if you need it. Just no desire to go through ticketmaster or others
  20. Well I just got an email from my 5 year old daughter's teacher who had apparently been telling kids at school all morning that her dad "hates the chiefs" and that "she's part of the mafia". Mind you, we are in the St Louis area and for some reason people here have adopted the chiefs. Anyway the teacher said we need to tell her not to use such extreme words at school
  21. Would probably stop somewhere am hour or two away from Orchard Park tonight and ideally miss the worst of the weather. Then head to the game around noon tomorrow. But I'm not familiar with how road crews and roads in the area. How clear could it be by then if the forecast holds true?
  22. No snow tires. Driven in 10 inches of unplowed snow. A typical 40 min drive took 2.5 hours. Would go halfway or so tonight and make the bad drive tomorrow when conditions are theoretically better. Can this be done?
  23. Ha St Louis has definitely become Chiefs country. Was at my 11 year old niece Taylor Swift themed birthday party last night and I made a bet with my 9 year old nephew. If the chiefs make it further than the Bills I'll give him $50 (he thinks this is hitting the lotto). If the Bills make it further he has to wear a Bills shirt to school the next day. He is in a panic But in all seriousness I have a ticket and want to make the drive up there but not sure how things look amd don't know what forecast to trust. Should I do it? Can I do it?
