  1. Whats the Chiefs injury report look like? I've seen the report but don't pay enough attention to know who's actually at risk of not playing and if it's significant
  2. I do expect McDermott to play the injury report as discreetly as allowed by NFL rules. Still not sure guys like Rapp, Davis, Bernard, Spector will actually play but I'm not putting a ton into practice reports yet.
  3. And if Davis is out, our 2 callups could be Isabella and Hauck. You have to consider IR for Martin or Davis IMO
  4. The Chiefs are good, they have a good coach, they've won it all a few times. They know what it takes to win in the playoffs (although we'll see about on the road in the playoffs). They have a really good defense. So in that sense, I feel pretty nervous. The Chiefs and Bills know each other well so both coaches will be prepared for basically everything. In that sense, I feel neutral. But the Bills are at home in front of a crowd that is going to impact the game. Josh played really really well against Pittsburgh. The offensive line has been good and healthy basically all season. Shakir appears to be ascending. Kincaid had a slight slump but he seems to be back to being a serious weapon. And James Cook has cooled off but he still gives a run game that defenses have to respect. So in that sense, I feel great. Shawn Hochuli has the game so that that sense I feel pretty bad. The health of the Bills defense is huge. Douglas, Dodson, and Johnson all play, the Bills win. The front 4 has to get to Mahomes.
  5. I would've rather Fournette punted
  6. Looks like we have Hochuli for the game. Uh oh
  7. Willing to pay list price or above for a ticket if you need it. Just no desire to go through ticketmaster or others
  8. Well I just got an email from my 5 year old daughter's teacher who had apparently been telling kids at school all morning that her dad "hates the chiefs" and that "she's part of the mafia". Mind you, we are in the St Louis area and for some reason people here have adopted the chiefs. Anyway the teacher said we need to tell her not to use such extreme words at school
  9. Would probably stop somewhere am hour or two away from Orchard Park tonight and ideally miss the worst of the weather. Then head to the game around noon tomorrow. But I'm not familiar with how road crews and roads in the area. How clear could it be by then if the forecast holds true?
  10. No snow tires. Driven in 10 inches of unplowed snow. A typical 40 min drive took 2.5 hours. Would go halfway or so tonight and make the bad drive tomorrow when conditions are theoretically better. Can this be done?
  11. Ha St Louis has definitely become Chiefs country. Was at my 11 year old niece Taylor Swift themed birthday party last night and I made a bet with my 9 year old nephew. If the chiefs make it further than the Bills I'll give him $50 (he thinks this is hitting the lotto). If the Bills make it further he has to wear a Bills shirt to school the next day. He is in a panic But in all seriousness I have a ticket and want to make the drive up there but not sure how things look amd don't know what forecast to trust. Should I do it? Can I do it?
  12. Trying to make the drive (or flight) in from St Louis. How are things looking out there? Consider me an amateur but at least somewhat capable for driving in bad conditions
  13. Will the steelers be able to fly in today?
  14. What are the chances the game gets postponed again?
  15. I don't really care where or when the game is or how many fans can make it, as long as the Bills win. And in these conditions it's a 50/50 luck draw which is ridiculous for a playoff game
  16. When's the latest the NFL can realistically reschedule the game?
  17. Has anyone considered putting a big tarp down all over WNY and then just lifting it up around 9am Sunday morning?
  18. Don't underestimate the ability for political analysts to discuss something that doesn't matter for 8 straight hours Which one would you rather have from Iowa?
  19. This could be a dangerous post but with Monday also being the Iowa Republican Caucuses, I have to think that networks like CBS, Fox, NBC don't want to be televising football during those evening hours. I wouldn't be surprised if that was a factor here.
  20. Based on the forecast I don't see how the game can be played Sunday at 1. I'm sure all of the alternatives are not appealing to the NFL though - Move to Monday night? No definitely won't have 2 playoff games at once - Move to Monday at 4? Monday afternoon isn't ideal but it is a holiday. The question is how safe/open will travel conditions be. Football weather will be fine. And roads will be better than Sunday but will they be good enough to matter? The winner of this game has substantially less rest than their opponent in the next round is a factor too. This is the easiest solution but it definitely has questions. - Move to a different location? Even if you found a perfectly "neutral" location, I'm sure the NFL does not want to do this to a home playoff team. Teams would be clamoring for location changes all the time - Move to Tuesday? Can't see that as possible in the playoffs. - Steelers forfeit? I think this makes sense.
  21. When does a decision need to be made?
