Who's the Emotional Leader on the Bills ??
stlbills13 replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is Josh and it should be Josh. But he's definitely lost some fire. Maybe he's saving it for when it matters. But it's not the same Josh -
Lackadaisical. From ownership to the front office to the coaching staff to the players. Everyone is buddies and it's Shakir's turn to bring orange slices and kool-aid to the next game

Given the way our secondary has played, unless Max's leg falls off between now and Sunday there is no reason for him to be inactive against Carolina. And even then I'd give him a long look.

I feel like we go into games with a plan and don't deviate until it's too late. Both sides of the ball. Brady is best when he can script an entire drive (1st drive of game/2nd half). He's struggling more this year when being put on the spot. For all of the lack of pass catching talent, our offensive play calling has been extremely poor

It’s time to have an uncomfortable conversation about Taron
stlbills13 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm ready to move away from always having a nickel on the field anyway. His play only makes me feel stronger about that. But whether it's at NCB or safety, I want to see Hancock on the field a lot starting this week. -
I still believe that we will get it done but the team just looks "off". Players are struggling, scheme looks unprepared and easy to predict, but I've said this in multiple threads: My biggest concern with this team right now is that they look too comfortable. And that includes the coaching staff. There seems to be a low level of accountability. Even with our lack of depth, there is no reason for guys like Rapp or Tre or Coleman to continue to see so much playing time. I think they need to make a big move just to shake some things up and send a message. I would also be very willing to move a "locker room guy" even if they're making strong contributions so far. I need this team to play pissed off angry football.

Please please please don't fire him. I want him in Miami forever. Ideally with Tua

Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?
stlbills13 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane and McD have to watch games all around football and see that you gotta have a good WR to make anything happen -
I kind of feel like it all depends if the coaching staff makes adjustments in the bye week. Not just with playcalling but with personnel too. I genuinely believe Rapp and Tre need to be benched defensively. Offensively there's no reason for James Cook to see less than 60% of the snaps again barring a blowout. Even on special teams I'm not sure there's a reason for Codrington to be active again

Semi excited because we still gotta use knox and Moore on an endaround at least once per game -

If on November 5th we had a WR group of Olave Meyers Shakir Coleman Palmer Samuel/Moore/Shavers/Gabe I could probably get on board with being semi-excited for the rest of this season. Still not great but it forces everyone into a more natural role. You still need a lot of help on defense but that is a group that could probably do enough if Josh is Superman. -

Meyers would be truly just fine. He makes the WR room better and he at least has the ability to play on the outside. If you could get him for like a 5th, I'd probably make the move. Just not sure he elevates the offense enough. But in my opinion, we should be looking at adding both a Meyers AND someone like Olave or Shaheed. I don't think we're one move away at WR. Then you also make additions in the secondary. It sure seems like the bye week would be a good time to do something. I hope Beane is active. -

They gotta shake up the room on offense and defense. Get a WR and put a guy like Coleman on notice. Get a defensive back and put a Tre White, Cole Bishop, or Taylor Rapp on notice. There is a talent issue on this team but I truly believe there is also an issue that everyone is just too comfortable. -

Shaheed is fine. He'd make the group better but I'm not convinced he actually elevates the team enough. DJ Moore is interesting I guess. Odunze is the guy there now and Burdens role was bigger out of the bye. Asset wise he might actually be cheaper with a hard to fit contract. But he's another guy who is "just a guy" for me. Marvin Harrison Jr and Kyler have not been on the same page ever so maybe he's a target but rhe Cardinals would give up on Kyler before MHJ plus MHJ has a 2nd concussion Jakobi Meyers is a guy I've always liked but that feels like another Palmer Coleman type. Maybe a little better but not striking fear into anyone I guess you could talk me into like Calvin Ridley and a 7th for a 6th but that feels like Amari Cooper lite. Same with Jerry Jeudy. Waddle I guess is interesting but would the Dolphins do that -

There's nobody out there Use the assets to get a CB and a safety and maybe even a linebacker Survive on offense with a lot more James Cook and hopefully a healthier Kincaid and just less stupid play calls -
The team needs a shake up. They're too comfortable. Even now the suspended guys just take the roster spot of guys on IR. I think a coach needs to go. It's a personnel issue as much as a coaching issue but Babich probably needs to go. Beane needs to make a big move too. Send a message that if you're not performing your job is in jeopardy. Genuinely believe an issue on this team right now is they're all so close to each other (including coaches) and there isn't enough accountability
