  1. TJ Watt and Myles Garrett don't disappear IMO. I think Max Crosby is a constant force too. Nick Bosa on the other hand definitely disappears.
  2. He was asked to spell "Bill" and spelled it correctly with 2 Ls?
  3. It was weird because they threw the ball on 2nd and 4 so you'd think they weren't running out the half. I don't think it's a matter of laziness. It's probably not about where geographically a city is... more likely a function of market size. The Bills punter Sam Martin won the Special Teams player of the Month for December.
  4. Just now looking at the box score. I didn't know Stroud didn't play but I see that Nico Collins did.
  5. He's only 58 years old... he might even get one more kick at the Head Coach can.
  6. FWIW the Browns beat the Texans less than one month ago in this stadium, 36-22. Watching Flacco play I'm wondering what are the Browns gonna do with Deshaun Watson?
  7. I think Stroud and DeMeco have already accomplished that mission. Pretty common practice. I've even heard some players mention only their hometown. @Solomon Grundy, I have a sideline pass to this game. Any messages to the players I'll relay for you! 😁 And Tank Dell was looking like a young Marvin Harrison before his season ended.
  8. I read in the Bflo News this morning that Kincaid's 73 receptions this year are the 4th most in NFL history by a rookie tight end. While it was not the best season by a rookie tight end this year, historically it is one of the best seasons by a rookie tight end. Kudos again to Brandon Beane.
  9. Thank you for the attribution and confirmation. It should be SOP and it's appreciated.
  10. Murph is a great guy. I wish him the very best.
  11. Yeah I appreciate Cook's explosiveness and his improvement this year but I don't need to see him get more touches. I don't consider him a dependable player and his level of ball security makes me nervous. Shakir is blossoming before our very eyes. He's an all-around receiver who does everything well. He can beat man with quickness and speed and has a great feel for finding openings in zone. I definitely want to see Shakir and Kincaid continue to grow into larger roles. One of the best things about the Miami game for me was Josh settling down and taking the layups. That's why he was 30 of 38 and highly efficient. He was also 8-10 in the 2nd half of the Patriots game after he decided to throw underneath to open receivers. I believe that Josh can become the QB he was in 2020 when he completed 69.2% of his passes and threw only 10 interceptions. Actually I think he should be able to complete 75% of his throws. If Josh exercises a bit more discipline as a thrower, the Bills should be unbeatable.
  12. The whole idea that the Bills Championship window had closed is so incredibly stupid. That window closes when Josh's play deteriorates to where he's substantially passed his prime. Right now he's in his prime. And what does your cousin, War Frog have to say about this? Josh was mostly on... Diggs had a nice bounce back game and Shakir and Kincaid continue to grow in the offense. The offense took a big step forward on Sunday and if Josh can cut down on his turnovers, the Bills have a great chance of attaining their ultimate goal. Things are coming together for this team... and at the perfect time.
  13. Perhaps inspired by @eball?
  14. A la Nick Nicolau and Tom Bresnahan?
  15. If the Steelers win, why would they change anything? Thank you for your comprehensive response! (How've you been sleeping lately?) 😊 Don't hijack the thread with another question. Start your own thread. Let's maintain the purity of this thread.
  16. True. It's interesting. Some like to view the Bills' record from the moment of Dorsey's Firing/Brady's Hiring and indeed the Bills are 6-1 since that moment. However it's important to note that the Bills are 7-2 since the acquisitions of Rasul Douglas and Linval Joseph. The improvement of the defense is arguably as much of the reason for the late season success as the change in OCs.
  17. Preseason I said that Kincaid would be second in receptions after Diggs. I was right. I also said he would score 10 TDs.
  18. It was commented by a few (not you guys) that McDermott would be better handing over the reins and concentrating on Head Coach duties like game management. Actually McDermott's game management is no worse than it's ever been and his defense has been better. The better argument is that he continues to call plays like so many other head coaches do. I'm not clear on why Bobby Babich should be getting more love here than Eric Washington. For one thing Washington is already Assistant Head Coach and for another, his work with Ed Oliver, Greg Rousseau, and AJ Epenesa has been just as impressive as any Bills assistant's work with any position group.
  19. Rivera has one year at $8.5 million due him from Washington. If he took an NFL coaching job the amount he is paid at his new position would be deducted from what Washington owes him. Rivera turned 62 years old yesterday. I'm thinking he's gonna take the year off to figure some things out. Then again maybe he'll go back to doing television game shows...
  20. The Bills never-die attitude is a direct function of their quarterback. Josh Allen is one of the rare quarterbacks with the true warrior mentality. He will never give up and if he loses, he goes down swinging. Lots of quarterbacks are glamour boys... not ours. Can you imagine being a Jaguars fan and seeing your team lose 5 of their last 6 with Trevor Lawrence throwing 3 straight incompletions to end the season? It seemed like Lawrence was so uncomfortable to even have the ball in his hands that he had to throw it away... like it was a potato too hot to handle. Justin Herbert is also as talented as Josh but you can see that he too falls short when it comes to being a warrior. Josh has his shortcomings as a quarterback but those shortcomings will never change the way I feel about him being OUR QUARTERBACK. There's NO ONE I would rather quarterback the Buffalo Bills than Josh Allen. His character and temperament are the stuff of champions, whether or not he ever wins one.
  21. I believe Miami only had 47 yards in the 2nd half. That was incredibly cheap play by Ingold. I lost all respect for him. He's got 50 pounds on Taron and feels the need to cheap shot him? Very glad the officials spotted that. Those two collectively couldn't carry Josh's jock. Did you guys see the final 4th down incompletion that Lawrence threw? That was a pathetic concession of the game... as if he was throwing a white flag, not a football. Josh would have pulled the ball down and figured out a way to get past the first down marker. I don't understand 2 things about the game threads: Why would anyone post there? No one is reading and everyone is posting crap and bad takes. Why would anyone read it? It's a bunch of people with bad takes and if you have a good take, it's gonna get buried under an avalanche of shhyyyttt. It interferes with actually watching the game. McBeane has to get extremely high marks for this roster construction. Top to bottom this is easily the Bills best team of this regime. It's gotten better every year as it should and you have 2nd and 3rd stringers making huge contributions. Van Demark yes but also Baylen Spector and though Dane Jackson isn't Rasul Douglas, he's the equal of Levi Wallace who's starting for the Steelers. Jackson's our 3rd cornerback IF you don't count Tre White. Dane didn't shrink in the moment. He competed. Kudos for not being a deer in the headlights. He's constantly putting the team on his back and willing them to victory. I've never seen such determination in a quarterback. Tua's a great guy but as a player, he's the AFC's version of Brock Purdy. It's insulting to knowledgeable observers of the NFL that he finished ahead of Josh in the Pro Bowl voting. What a mockery. Your's is a minority opinion. Most of the Bills fans and players strongly prefer the 1 pm Sunday kickoffs.
  22. Judging from the crowd noise, it's not a majority Bills fans.
  23. The best cornerback that NFL fans don't know.
