  1. Yeah I wasn't clear on that... my bad actually.
  2. Some still insist it’s a moon, don’t they?
  3. So Davante Adams should be good with people throwing snowballs at him? Also, it's weird that you would use his quote as fodder for a nonsensical debate.
  4. As a buddy of mine noted, it looks like the Atlanta Falcons:
  5. Super helpful post but as you know many/most of the straight billed caps are “structured” with the two front panels really high and stiff. Curving the bill is only part of the problem. Got it!
  6. Happy Birthday Marv!!! You are an exceptionally good and decent person and I’m glad you’ve touched my life. To many more!!!
  7. Mmmmmmm…. Boilermakers… Details are unimportant.
  8. Check back with me when the dust settles on their careers but right now I wouldn’t change a thing.
  9. Great post regarding Diggs and Aiyuk. To your concerns, the Bills used their first pick in the last 2 drafts on receivers for Josh. And… … not to mention the signings of Curtis Samuel, Mack Hollins, Zach Davidson, and the continued development of Shavers. Whether these moves work out, the Bills were aggressive in revamping the room. Expectations outside the building are lower than they’ve been in the last few seasons but I’m pretty sure the Bills are not lowering their goals. I’m certainly not either.
  10. Wow. That’s a lot of Michigan hate right there. I won’t get into Michigan as a state but as a school, Michigan in EVERY measure is one of the great universities in America.
  11. I think Von is gonna be saved for obvious passing situations. It seems like there's little value in starting him, especially on run downs. Ray Davis had 8 fumbles in 840 touches (carries + receptions) in college. That's 1 fumble every 105 touches. That's very low. Of those 8 fumbles 3 were recovered by the other team. Almost every NFL Head Coach is averse to starting a player until they TRUST that player. Trust has to be earned.
  12. I just don't trust those... gonna stick with my videocassette recorder... Beta beats VHS for sure. All of the recent changes in kickoff rules over the years (no running start by coverage team, restrictions on number of people in a wedge, etc) were made to make kickoffs safer because there was an incommensurate amount of injuries on kickoffs. It doesn't look that much safer to me. There were a few big collisions that I saw in that small sample size. The returners are particularly still at risk. The consensus opinion is that the teams are gonna keep the trick plays under wraps until they're needed.
  13. Peterman released by the Saints: https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/saints-release-nathan-peterman-sign-wr-samson-nacua Career Earnings: $7.42 million https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/21913/nathan-peterman#:~:text=Nathan Peterman signed a 1 year %2C %242%2C133%2C000 contract with the, average annual salary of %242%2C133%2C000.
  14. Yes Josh is a close 2nd to Mahomes IMO. It doesn't invalidate the consensus that Mahomes has been a better QB than Josh up till now but I believe that many people would be surprised if you polled Bills fans about which QB they'd rather have. I'd rather have Josh and I'm guessing that I'm far from alone as far as fan voting goes. Yes I'd love to have Jefferson over Diggs but that's a separate discussion.
  15. Call me crazy but I'm just fine with "losing" Mahomes and getting Josh as a consolation prize. And what does Jefferson (Diggs) have to do with this discussion? Andy Reid had a .583 winning percentage in 14 seasons coaching the Eagles. His teams made the playoffs in 9 of those 14 seasons and he took his teams to 5 NFC Championship games and a Super Bowl. He was probably a Hall of Fame coach before he went to Kansas City.
  16. What a great career for a 5th round pick. He earned $31.5 million over 9 years. Kudos to a real pro and a good soldier.
  17. Hall of Famers Rod Woodson and Ronnie Lott both transitioned from CB to Safety later in their careers. Vic Fangio's protestations notwithstanding, it's a move that has been made by many players over the decades. Another thing that hasn't been brought up that is VERY relevant is that Rasul Douglas is in the last year of his contract. I would bet immense sums of money that he has ZERO DESIRE to switch to a position where he'll be making much less money. I actually think with his traits that he would be a great safety some day but the original suggestion isn't anywhere in the realm of possibility at this time.
