  1. Kadish was a great player for the Bills for many years, very solid contributor. Consistently good. Was a joy to watch him make plays. RIP big Mike.
  2. Hard to say if this trade happens or not as this front office is very tight lipped with no leaks, as compared to the previous regime. My guess is we won’t really know anything until it actually goes down.
  3. Please let Yolo know he is missed and greatly appreciated. Looking forward to his return.
  4. People thought the Fins were winning it all last season when they overpaid for Chubb. How did that work out for them? These moves all seem like short sighted desperation with no concern for sustained success.
  5. They'll pay lots of $ for a guy past his prime
  6. Can say the same for a few qb's, however there are more JaMarcus Russells, Brady Quinns, David Carrs, Ryan Leafs, Harringtons, etc. You just never know, especially how quickly they can process what is happening on the field. I wish Reich the best of luck as I think he is a very good head coach. The success of the trade is strictly based on how well all the draft picks perform in the pros. As always, time will tell.
  7. It’s an odd trade. Based on what I’ve read the Panthers like a few of the quarterbacks and are not focused on just one. It’s not like there is an Andrew Luck or Elway out there where everyone sees them as a can’t miss prospect, head and shoulders above everyone else. Reich got tired of coaching without a reliable qb. Hope they pick the right guy. At the combine I was impressed with Levis from Kentucky. Nice compact throwing motion and a strong arm. We’ll see.
  8. It’s interesting to note that McDaniels was on Mike Shanahan’s staff in Washington when they literally would not take Robert Griffin off the field even though he couldn’t walk and later found he had torn both his ACL and his LCL. Interesting pattern here.
  9. He tells players in the article to not take the pills or injections the teams gives you. The league, unfortunately, doesn’t care about the long term implications of their “get back on the field” treatments. Not sure, but it almost seems that certain teams are more guilty of this approach than others.
  10. I agree. Some desperate franchise with an owner with more money than sense will pay him. Could be the Jets, the Raiders, Saints, Bucs. Who knows. He would receive better marketing if he had an agent for sure.
  11. After both the AFC championship game and the Super Bowl, the Chiefs will be roasted all off season as receiving favoritism from the officials. They don’t care as they won the Super Bowl, but Philly and Cinci fans will make a ton of noise, and those are heavily populated cities. Can’t say I blame them. Also has anyone noticed that in each close playoff game with a late fourth quarter kickoff that they have all been squib kicks?
  12. I would pick up Keenan Allen in a heartbeat. He has at least two good, productive years left in him. He could make a huge difference. Herbert was much more effective when Allen got back on the field.
  13. Take it all the way back to Ray Charles - Hit The Road Jack!
  14. Like one of the talking heads said last year, they are paying a person $100 million to announce games who has never said anything interesting in his life.
  15. Frazier sets up his defense like Josh and our offense is going to score every time we have the ball. When the opposing defense stops our offense he doesn’t, or can’t, make the defensive adjustments, such as press coverage to counter the opposition’s quick throws and short game. Frazier plays it as though the opposition will always be playing catch up.
  16. Burrow needs to announce to their fans that they better get a refund on their Super Bowl tickets. 😆
  17. Mahomes is definitely hampered by his injury. The media just wouldn't bring up Josh's injury very often, possibly because the Bills downplayed it.
  18. Running the defensive scheme that Frazier employs also reduces the opportunities for turnovers. If there isn't enough pressure on the qb then the db's just sit back and tackle receivers after they make the catch. No aggressiveness on the back end and definitely never tight presses on the line of scrimmage.
  19. It's early but sure looks like KC can take advantage of that patchwork line.
  20. It will be interesting to see how KC’s defensive line does against the patch work offensive line of the Bengals. That will help with our assessment of how we did.
  21. He says we need a lot of work on defense and offense. So, where do we start? Coordinators maybe? Some key personnel? Big off season questions for Beane and company.
