  1. It’s interesting to note that McDaniels was on Mike Shanahan’s staff in Washington when they literally would not take Robert Griffin off the field even though he couldn’t walk and later found he had torn both his ACL and his LCL. Interesting pattern here.
  2. He tells players in the article to not take the pills or injections the teams gives you. The league, unfortunately, doesn’t care about the long term implications of their “get back on the field” treatments. Not sure, but it almost seems that certain teams are more guilty of this approach than others.
  3. I agree. Some desperate franchise with an owner with more money than sense will pay him. Could be the Jets, the Raiders, Saints, Bucs. Who knows. He would receive better marketing if he had an agent for sure.
  4. After both the AFC championship game and the Super Bowl, the Chiefs will be roasted all off season as receiving favoritism from the officials. They don’t care as they won the Super Bowl, but Philly and Cinci fans will make a ton of noise, and those are heavily populated cities. Can’t say I blame them. Also has anyone noticed that in each close playoff game with a late fourth quarter kickoff that they have all been squib kicks?
  5. I would pick up Keenan Allen in a heartbeat. He has at least two good, productive years left in him. He could make a huge difference. Herbert was much more effective when Allen got back on the field.
  6. Take it all the way back to Ray Charles - Hit The Road Jack!
  7. Like one of the talking heads said last year, they are paying a person $100 million to announce games who has never said anything interesting in his life.
  8. Frazier sets up his defense like Josh and our offense is going to score every time we have the ball. When the opposing defense stops our offense he doesn’t, or can’t, make the defensive adjustments, such as press coverage to counter the opposition’s quick throws and short game. Frazier plays it as though the opposition will always be playing catch up.
  9. Burrow needs to announce to their fans that they better get a refund on their Super Bowl tickets. 😆
  10. Mahomes is definitely hampered by his injury. The media just wouldn't bring up Josh's injury very often, possibly because the Bills downplayed it.
  11. Couldn't happen to a more deserving player!
  12. Running the defensive scheme that Frazier employs also reduces the opportunities for turnovers. If there isn't enough pressure on the qb then the db's just sit back and tackle receivers after they make the catch. No aggressiveness on the back end and definitely never tight presses on the line of scrimmage.
  13. Joe needs to tell bungle fans to get their Super Bowl refunds.
  14. Novel idea, a screen to slow down the pass rush
  15. It's early but sure looks like KC can take advantage of that patchwork line.
  16. It will be interesting to see how KC’s defensive line does against the patch work offensive line of the Bengals. That will help with our assessment of how we did.
  17. He says we need a lot of work on defense and offense. So, where do we start? Coordinators maybe? Some key personnel? Big off season questions for Beane and company.
  18. Players obviously need to perform to expectations, but I also wonder if any of their under performing is due to how the coaching staff uses them and the schemes they are used in? I guess that’s a question Beane and McDermott need to answer.
  19. He did such a great job with Russell Wilson, they must figure to give him a shot with another Mr. Wilson.😆
  20. Love it! This is the Jests being the Jests.
  21. As many have said this injury takes time to fully heal and regain your speed and form. Tre is a dog, extremely smart and he leaves everything on the field. He will be fine next season. There are a lot more parts of him other than the physical game that are difficult to replace.
  22. Are you suggesting trying to isolate Cook on a linebacker and letting him use his speed and cutting ability to take the pressure off of Josh in blitzing situations, the way Georgia used him? How we heard about that all off season, but we refused to use him in that capacity and never played to one of his strengths. Watch some of his tape with Georgia and his pass catching ability is obvious.
  23. Dorsey hasn’t utilized Cook properly. The talk all off season was how we would use him catching passes out of the backfield and isolating him on linebackers as they did in Georgia. We never used him in that capacity, which would have helped Josh tremendously and negated the many blitzes we saw.
