I had heard that Butkus was disappointed that Jim Brown unexpectedly retired the year he was drafted as he looked forward to taking him on. Word was that he punished Leroy Kelly, who became the Brown’s featured back, whenever he got the opportunity. Not sure if the story is fully true but it made for good conversation.

Most underrated play and favorite sequence of the game

That was also a great read by Cook, seeing Josh scrambling and having the wherewithal to head downfield. That’s a form of communication and trust that comes with time together. Great play and look forward to more of those type plays from Cook.👍 -
I don’t trust McDaniels at all. He will have his players taking cheap shots. It will not be pretty.

Josh Allen - Highest Completion % in NFL through 2 Weeks

Cook leads the AFC in rushing also, although only two games. Hopefully it’s a sign of things to come. -
Josh Allen since the KC win last season….22 TD’s and 16 INT’s.

It appears that teams are going to try to make Josh beat them from the pocket, not allowing him to roll out or create running lanes when everyone is covered. It looked like the Jets contained the ends to keep Josh between the tackles. In order for him to succeed against that strategy he will need to take the quick release passes and settle for 5 - 6 yard gains, which is not a bad thing. We started way too many drives last night with negative first down plays, whether they were runs tackled behind the line or stupid penalties. -
Was saying the entire second half that they should use Kincaid more. He caught everything and turned up field and was hard to tackle. Nice, basically safe plays that gain yardage continually, instead of going backwards on first down so many times.

Chris Jones agreed to deal with KC (1 year deal)

Actually thought the KC offensive looked weak against the Lions. I think that could prove to be a problem going forward. Offensive line -

Chiefs offensive line looks shaky at best.

To neutralize the strength of the Jets defense, we will need to use the short, quick passing game, similar to the way we played against the Rams in the opener last season.

In the Pats vs the Titans game, it appears the Pats will end up with 79 total yards of offense. Scrubs or not, that is just bad.

Conor Orr (from Si.com) and his prediction: Bills at 9-8 🤔

Just have to play out the season and see where it all ends up. I would be disappointed if we lost more than 5 games. The backend stretch is brutal. -
So Cook is coming off shoulder surgery this offseason and apparently will not be able to practice for a short while and Hall had the knee surgery last year and openly stated he still experiences knee soreness and is concerned that he won’t be able to make certain cuts. It’ll be interesting to see how it all works out.

I know one game does not make a season, but if we can take them out in the season opener it could really sour their expectations for the season, especially with the NY media.

I find it amazing how ESPN and other pundits make such a huge deal of the one long pass that Wilson completed.

The punt return for a touchdown came in the 1965 AFL championship game, our 2nd title game against the Chargers. He also had an interception in that game. He was amazing and very deserving of more accolades.

Jets are releasing WR Denzel Mims if they can't trade him.

Yes, I forgot about the injury. You are correct. -

People forget how good Davis was the previous two seasons, especially when Allen would break the pocket and scramble around. Davis would continue working to get open and make some amazing sideline catches, many on 3rd down. I’m hoping last season was just a down year for him. -
