  1. I too am rooting for the Rams. I think Donald and Von Miller have the best chance of making Mahomes 1-3 in the Super Bowl.
  2. This is how I feel. Its not a feeling of disappointment as much as it is a feeling of something being stolen that was supposed to be ours. As if the universe was upset.
  3. lol People are upset that I pointed out that we don’t need a new donation thread every week. It has really triggered some folks.
  4. I can’t believe how poor the coaching was on this. For McDermott to blame “execution” is disgusting. Levi had NO hope. If he shades inside, Kelce can go outside and up the sideline. If he shades outside (which he did), Kelce can go right down the middle (which he did). Absolutely catastrophically poor coaching.
  5. Forget the kickoff. Look at this freaking defense!! Levi is left on an island with Kelce.
  6. I should be putting on my zubaz over layers of long underwear and sweatpants. I should be preparing a thermos full of warm beverage. I should be listening to pre-game on the radio. I should be deciding which lot I want to tailgate in. I should be checking Twitter for guesses on game day inactives. I should be checking the weather thread for any last minute updates. But instead i’m doing none of these things. Due to the worst 13 seconds of coaching that my brain can ever remember. /End bitching.
  7. Keep in mind that whatever happens, it doesn’t mean that it was our guys decision.
  8. Forget Dorsey at this point. Anyone other than Pederson is a disappointed. The QB he won a Super Bowl with is currently the 3rd string QB for the Chicago Bears.
  9. At the end of the season, all teams are equal except for 1. I don’t care about playoffs. I care about Super Bowls. Everyone makes mistakes. Some forget to take the garbage out. And others accidentally set their house on fire. There are degrees to mistakes.
  10. Yes. And i’ve seen numerous and repeated gameday mistakes, each and every year.
  11. Did you watch the last 13 seconds of last Sundays game?
  12. Olson actually withdrew to become the Rams QB’s coach. Which is even more insulting. Now that i’ve edited out the “rah rah”, let’s focus on reality. Just like any other position on earth, the very best are already employed and under contract. There may be endless people who want the job, but can not have it due to contractual obligations. That leaves: 1) Former OC’s without a job - Which makes you question WHY they are without a job. 2) People who have never been an OC, and they will be learning on the job. ….
  13. I fear that we all may learn that the grass isn’t always 525nm of wavelength on the other side.
  14. It’s not about who “wants” to coach Josh Allen. Of course there will be dozens. Its about who is available. Coaches can’t just leave contracts. And the best OC’s are already employed.
  15. Forget speed. Im more concerned that McDermott has not given the players any explanation for what occurred on Sunday. That is deeply disappointing.
  16. Really like Josh Allen. But Dolphin fans like Marino too. Zero trophies. I want Allen. And the Trophies.
  17. You're missing the point. You can "take up space" with players that are more equipped to be in pass coverage. Like more DB's, or LB's. It makes no sense to drop 4 DL back when you could simply put 8 DB and 3 LB's on the field with 0 DL.
  18. Kelce and the WR's are faster than every D-Linemen we have. Dropping them back would accomplish very little and would put them into posiitons that they are not equipped for. There are 13 seconds left. There is no element of surprise here. Mahomes needs to get rid of the ball as soon as possible.
  19. Dropping 4 defensive lineman is putting them into positions that they are not equipped for. You might as well skip the 4 linemen and go 8 DB, 3 LB.
  20. Your chances of scoring on any given drive nearly TRIPLE when you start on your opponents 45 yard line. In addition to this, the way your opponent plays defense also changes once you pass mid-field in a sudden death scenario. With only 45 yards to the endzone, there is a legitimate chance of scoring on every play. The defense must play a soft shell or cover 2/3 defense to protect the endzone. This leaves the short to intermediate range more susceptible. And none of this even touches on the psychological component of your defense walking onto a field knowing theyre only 45 yards away from losing.
  21. Scoring is irrelevant in terms of potential to score. The more drives you have, the more potential you have to score. Whether you do so or not. Quote
  22. I agree. This was only a tiny factor, but one I thought interesting none-the-less. Probably very little, and here is why. Most teams do not have the offensive firepower of Kansas City. If you gave the Lions an extra 2 possessions per game, there is a very likely chance that they score nothing with those two possessions. Same goes for probably a dozen other teams. So when looking at an overall aggregate, you are likely to see very little difference. BUT, when you give an offensive juggernaut 2 extra possessions - like KC, or Buffalo - You are much more likely to get another score (and perhaps a win) out of the additional attempts. .
