I agree with this. But this must be looked at from a holistic perspective, not a micro view. The Dolphins have been making consistent good decisions. It's not JUST Ramsey. It's also: - Bringing in Fangio, one of the most respect DC's in the league - Bringing in Berry, an up and coming O-line coach that was part of the 49ers dominant running attack - It's trading LT Tunsil for multiple first round picks then replacing him with... - It's signing Armstead, a stud of a LT - It's trading for Tyreek Hill and drafting Waddle, making the best WR tandem in the NFL. - Its trading Jalen Ramsey for peanuts and then re-working his contract to make it more palatable And they still have more cap space than the Bills with the 2023 free agency upcoming AND the draft. And this is a team that brought the Bills to the brink 3 times last year, winning one of them and barely losing the other two, and one of those times they started a 3rd string QB. So in my opinion it's not just Ramsey. It's a string of excellent decision making and quite frankly if they had Josh Allen they would be the favorites to win the Super Bowl. Thankfully they don't. But with the cast they're surrounding Tua with, it may be enough to make noise anyway.

Henry is close to done. I think he has another year of dominance left but that's about it. The Titans forum has talked about it for the past year. Beckham IS done, most likely.
-
Now that's funny! We actually had a conversation about this a few pages back. Though I don't think Tua is elite, I do think with the right surrounding cast, he can do some damage and may even win a SB. He is on Eli Manning's level in my opinion. And Eli has 2 SB trophies. Don't forget that Tua beat us this year, took us to the brink at home, and then we had his 3rd string backup take us to the brink in the playoffs. The Dolphins were neck and neck with us in all 3 games and they're still getting better. From improving their DC (Fangio) to getting a good CB like Ramsey.

Update! I forgot to do in December. Here was this years (2022) Christmas decorations.
-
I think that's a fair critique. But I think the overall poster perception on this forum would lean positive, don't you think?
-
He is assuming Allen, Miller and Settle restructure and it somehow reaches $26M. Its more likely to be around $20M with $10M going toward the draft.
-
Context matters. Was the defense the problem? Well, Bears gave up 16 points in their playoff loss with Fangio. Im thinking thats not a loss the defense caused... That's fine. We all have different opinions.
-
Sorry for the confusion. I wasn't advocating Fangio to take over as HC. Just defensive coordinator.
-
Your trolling is pathetic. I won't respond anymore.
-
Dorothy, is that you? Maybe if you keep saying it and clicking your heels it’ll come true (it won’t).
-
As qualified as any other fan posting their opinion here.
-
Where do you see us at $26M under? Spotrac has us at $17M over. With Milano, Allen, and Miller restructures we should be at $19M. And we will need about $10M for the draft class. That leaves Beane $9M.
-
Yeah that gives me zero confidence. Frazier has been running McD's defense for last 5 years. It has resulted in playoff exits, year after year after year. We NEEDED a changeup. Not a new boss, same as the old boss.

Yes, that's a great way to describe how i'm feeling. After 17 years of no-playoff misery and watching a division rival win numerous Super Bowls, we finally get a stud QB and we are in the AFC Champ game, then we are in the Div game, and then we barely get back to the div game by squeaking by a 3rd string QB, then we see the other teams in our division making moves, then we hear Beane say we wont be doing much in free agency because we have very little cap room... Definitely feels like it's sleeping away.
-
Im not sure to be honest. I was just saying "if" we knew he was leaving... I hope he wouldn't spring that on us.
-
Diggs trade. Beane was finally going after office, and got Josh a receiver that could help him flourish. that was the last time I felt like we really had a cohesive plan that involved taking quality risks to stay competitive with the AFC front runners

you don’t have the authority to question my fan hood either. No one here does. you think fan hood means you must support and agree with everything the team does and flail your pom-poms around. I don’t. I love my bills and I always will and nothing you or anyone else says can ever change that
-
I don’t think it’s true, because I assume the Dolphins are working out a contract extension with Ramsey which were totally negate those numbers
-
sorry, it’s Siri, it changes my words sometimes
-
I don’t see the comparison between the bills and those patriots teams. those patriot teams were winning Super Bowls, not pissing down their leg in the playoffs. we are the Marty Schottenheimer chargers, if anything.
-
I agree with you. Tua is not who I would want a quarterback for my team. But at the same time, when healthy, she is absolutely capable and good enough, with the white supporting cast around him, to win a Super Bowl. in my opinion, he has Eli Manning in terms of quality
-
i’m not sure what makes you think you have the authority to say who and who is not a fan. I have been a bills fan for nearly 35 years. I have it tattooed on my body. My house is a Buffalo Bills fan destination during Christmas time because I do a Buffalo Bills Christmas show. I have not missed a game since 1997. you do not have the authority to claim who and who is not a fan. just because I do not like the direction the team is going and will call it out, does not mean that I do not bleed red white and blue

And here comes the homers
-
there is a massive, gigantic, ocean sized, difference between saying if a starter didn’t mess up a pass and saying if a starter played at all, the game would be different
-
he is definitely a clear notch below. no argument there. but Super Bowls have been won by clear notch below quarterbacks. heck, Eli Manning has two Super Bowl victories with the right cast around him, Tua could definitely get a trophy. and let’s not forget that Rams approach won a Super Bowl. Against the AFC representative.
