  1. That is true. But this is very debatable. Lynch was hired in January of 2017. Since then, the 49ers have gone: 2017: 6-10 2018: 4-12 2019: 13-3 2020: 6-10 Not sure id call that just fine, but to each their own.
  2. Wrong again. The post you quoted literally mentioned him being a Director of Pro Personnel. EDIT: I think you can be pointing to the fact I did not include his director days in my very first post - as if my omission was the sin. Forgive me!
  3. No he wasn't. He was the lowest team scout from 2001 to 2004. He was Director of Pro Personnel for only a couple of years and went 24-24. He then "left" - aka fired - and went to Philadelphia to be demoted. When he arrived in Philly, he was downgraded back to scout. When he was eventually promoted to Director of Pro Personnel, he endured another bad .500 record (32-32) before being fired by Philly. So let's recap. He has: 1) Not been with an NFL team in *any* capacity in nearly a decade. 2) When he was with an NFL team, he had a .500 record and was fired by two teams after being in the director job for 3 years or less. Therefore, I stand by my question of: "What in the pickles tarnation does he know about being a GM?" .
  4. Is he though? He was a scout for 4 years (over a decade ago). And a Director of Pro Personnel for two HORRENDOUS football teams. He has not been an employee of an NFL team in nearly 10 years.
  5. Louis Riddick as GM? What in the pickles tarnation does he know about being a GM? I mean, I guess he was a scout for a short time, like 10 years ago If I was Leslie, i’d be concerned about that. .
  6. I disagree. I don’t remember getting an explanation. Would you mind providing a link? I couldn’t find anything.
  7. Yes. But at that point you might as well build a dome. Cost over half a billion to put that roof and other upgrades on.
  8. Velariums were used in round "stadiums", which is a big engineering difference than rectangular, and they covered the entire seating area (Not a portion of it - like the Seahawks).
  9. I answered his question. Why did we change from gap to zone? I think it was because Daboll wanted to feature more RPO's in the offense. At the pro level, it is typically easier to run RPO's with zone blocking than gap. Which is why most teams do so.
  10. I don't blame Allen for a single one of the interceptions. INT 1 - Ball was tipped. INT 2 - Allen threw it to a spot, but Beasley didn't get to it because he was interfered with. INT 3 - Ball was tipped. Not a single one of those interceptions were bad throws. If one chooses, they can nitpick his decision making to throw *at all* on the first INT. But I will not. He has scored or gotten first downs by making that exact type of throw on so many occasions, that I'm not going to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
  11. He's also put the ball on the ground 3 times this year. 1 fumble, 2 muffs.
  12. I'm not an engineer but I have a hard time envisioning a partial roof that covers most of the stands without it being nearly enclosed in full. Rain/snow doesn't fall straight down. It comes at an angle. For this reason, Seahawk fans still get soaked in the rain. EDIT: A quick google search revealed that it's pretty hit or miss. There are certain rows and sections that are better covered than others. Eek. Lets hope. .
  13. I agree. Diggs had the CB beat and I am more than okay with Allen taking that shot. A better pass and that is a touchdown. As it is, Diggs still got his hands on it.
  14. Thanks for pointing one out. Any others? He did have Knox for a 2 yard pass that likely would have turned into a 6-8 yard gain. There were 2 Falcon defenders 8 yards from Knox (waiting at the 1st down line).
  15. Have you ever been to Minneapolis in the winter? It has a glass roof that is literally designed for tons of snow.
  16. Can you point to the times when you felt he should have checked down?
  17. Andre Roberts: 27.5 yards per kickoff return, 1 TD (#2 overall in NFL) Isaiah Mckenzie: 24.3 yards per kickoff return, 0 TD
  18. Perhaps Andre Roberts should have been retained.
  19. I have historically been anti-dome for similar reasons. Traditional domes feel like a crypt. In the modern era, domes are not like this. There is so much natural light that you feel like you are outside. Examples:
  20. I disagree that 10% of the stadium being empty is “great”. Ever.
