  1. Daquan Jones He's overlooked because of being primarily a run defender, but he is always doubled and frees up linebackers to make plays. He's what Star Lotulelei was supposed to be.
  2. He was still dramatically better than Saffold and got great push in the run game.
  3. Bills in Blue and Steelers in Black since yellow text on white is unreadable QB - Bills by a billion RB - James Cook will be the best rb on the field, but we need to see how he performs in a bitter cold playoff game. Najee is built for a game like this and Warren is capable of big plays. This one is very close, with a slight edge to Pittsburgh. WRs - We're banged up at the position with Davis out and Diggs has not been as effective as of late. Pickens is an elite go-up-and-get-it receiver and Diontae Johnson and Allen Robinson round out a solid group that would be more productive with consistent qb play. TE - Friermuth has not been very productive this year and Kincaid and Knox have more ability to make big plays downfield. OL - The Bills OL has improved a lot over the course of the season. Having no injuries have allowed our line to gel and communicate well. Seumalo is probably the Steelers best lineman right now and he is coming off a knee injury. DL - Heyward is a beast, but he's not as disruptive in his older age. Benton has been very solid as a rookie. The Steelers are without Watt, but Highsmith and Golden are still capable of getting pressure on the edge. The Bills have Daquon back to pair up with Ed Oliver (10 Sacks) with a group of Floyd, Rousseau, and Epenesa as pass-rushers. Watt's injury flips this category to Buffalo. LBs - The Steelers mainly have run defenders on the interior vs the Bills coverage-focused linebackers. This is the kind of game where Dodson can play close to the line if he's active. Terrell Bernard's big play ability is the thing that puts the Bills on top for this one. CBs - The injury to Douglas shifts this one to Pittsburgh. Joey Porter Jr has improved a lot over the season and our corners lack the physicality to get off blocks if this game becomes a run-first game. Safety - Minkah Fitzpatrick wins this category for Pittsburgh because of the decline in play of Hyde and Poyer. Bills win it 5-4 (which could be the final score considering the weather)
  4. We're good at qb sneaks because of having Josh Allen. Our line rarely gets much of a push on the interior and they don't often move the pile.
  5. Wilkins only plays football for the opportunity to grab other guys' junk.
  6. I think our experience and continuity in the seconday has contributed to the lack of PI calls this season. Poyer, Hyde, and Johnson have been playing together for 5+ years now. Douglas is a 7-year player and our 1st round cb is still benched until he can be more consistent. Zone teams are probably likely to get slightly fewer holding calls, but you need to hand it to McDermott for keeping this defense performing at a high level despite the loss of Milano, White, Daquon for 10 games, and an ineffective Von Miller.
  7. The Dolphins have a great looking stadium, but their fans don't seem to care much about the game.
  8. This late in the year, I think the Bills will rotate which depth rb is inactive in order to keep the rotation fresh. Murray, Johnson, and Fournette will be crucial pieces if we continue to run the football 40+ times per game.
  9. I'm glad we added an aggressive cb who is always looking to make a play on the ball. Hopefully we can sign him long-term.
  10. Harty has not been very productive, but Sherfield at least brings value as a blocker. I like the idea of Josh having a big physical receiver like Shorter in the red zone.
  11. Normally, I would say that this is the most disrespectful thing NBC has ever done to Al Michaels, but they actually traded for him from ESPN for a cartoon rabbit. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/12750497/how-espn-traded-al-michaels-oswald-rabbit
  12. If you're gonna schedule 2 games at the same time, thet should just let all 4 teams play on the field at the same time. Something like this:
  13. I only would consider this with no time remaining. Missing the 2-point conversion lets the Eagles win with a field goal, while making it forces the Eagles to score a td. Neither scenario is an instant win.
  14. Yeah, America is really falling behind by having proper plumbing and electricity...
  15. The loss of Daquan Jones has made our entire defensive line less effective.
  16. The offense was more varied and produced consistent positive yardage even if we struggled to get in the endzone. Punting twice in Bucs territory on 4th and short is the reason why this game wasn't a blowout.
  17. I'm puzzled by the decline of Hunter Renfrow. He played great in the slot with Carr, but he seems to have been phased out of the offense this year. He's only 28, but he has a $13 Million cap hit this season, making a trade to any team difficult.
  18. We need the help at 1T. Phillilps, Ford, and Settle have underwhelmed and opposing offensive lines have been able to get to the second level and push our linebackers off the play.
  19. The league needs to do a better job at maintaining their playing fields. Natural grass is the safest choice and a multibillion dollar league shouldn't cheap out on astroturf while claiming to promote player safety.
  20. I don't consider holding Saquon Barkley to 3.9 YPC getting "shredded"
  21. Dodson got twice as many snaps as Williams after Milano went down, and Dodson played much better in my opinion (Dorian whiffed on a number of tackles) It's up to Rousseau and Miller to elevate our pass rush to make up for other deficiencies on defense.
