  1. He is, and takes some unnecessary flak at times. But the cupboard is pretty bare after White, Wallace and Johnson. Jackson is not the offseason hero people hoped he would be, and Wildgoose was getting cooked all game. Neal is not a boundary CB either. DB depth is looking pretty weak can't disagree, should be interesting to see who is a surprise cut at roster cut downs
  2. I hope Trubisky has a terrific game as Chicago sorts out the QB carousel they created
  3. Him and the new preseason favorite Hodgins, sometimes availability is an ability
  4. hate to hear this about any player, on any team. Hope he is ok
  5. Corey Davis, Crowder and Moore is a solid starting three. Add Cole and Mims, and that is better than any WR group JA had to work with his first two seasons.
  6. Boettger started almost half the season last year, that does add trade value, but would severely weaken the already iffy OG position. Bates is the most versatile OL Buffalo has, again adds value in a trade but again, he is Buffalo's swiss army knife on the OL. Jack of all trades, master of none. (yes I am waiting for the Master Bates jokes to roll in) Zimmer is the type of inexpensive young players you need to build your roster around once the 5-10 stars are in place. I see your thinking, but disagree.
  7. Listened to this, and was really on board with his point regarding Josh Allen, and the bigger picture. He does a segment "What Collin got right, What Collin got wrong" I think he aced this perspective. It's not just that I agree with him, I liked how he messaged it.
  8. Sister Mary Lou beat me with a ruler to reinforce that 'An' precedes a vowel. The 'A' or 'An' as acceptable before 'h' could have saved my knuckles much pain.... We are reaching a historical milestone' sounds right. yet 'I completed that ticket a hour ago' sounds like a rube.
  9. Love lift us up where we belong Where the eagles cry On a mountain high Love lift us up where we belong Far from the world below Up where the clear winds blow
  10. 🥰 I like it. Have had a low key crush on her since she joined NFLN. Checks a lot of boxes for me: A woman who loves football likes math and stats/ has a logical mind can talk business (MBA and Finance background) loves staying fit (pilates instructor) is easy on the eyes is learning how to bake and is not married 😄 It will be interesting what kind of content she provides, and if she gets into the analytics side of things. From the announcement: Frelund will join the Bills as their sideline reporter during the preseason TV game broadcasts. She will also host a digital segment during the season that dives into statistics and analytics surrounding the Bills. Predictive modeling is really intense, but is fun too. It often goes against a gut feeling. Cool hire by the Bills. Welcome to the team Cynthia!
  11. Signing while the cap is low is a bright move. I didn't think it could be done. This deal and the Dak deal might look very smart a season or two from now. Still need to see details of payouts/ years. Jerry Jones might be annoying, but he is not stupid.
  12. Completely possible this is a Brady (Pats)/ Manning (Colts) set up for the next 6-7 years and we are the Manning (Colts) in the equation. I'll take my chances with McDermott/JA vs Reid/Mahomes going forward. Few teams in the AFC feel the same way. With Mahomes/ Allen/ Herbert/ Burrow etc the AFC should dominate the next 5-10 years. It's a matter of playoff seeding and wins vs the AFC. We are locked and loaded, draft well and prosper. Correct, players pay taxes on where the game is played.
  13. I agree for the most part. Waiting to see how the contract is layered and guarantees kick in. Rumored $100 Million guaranteed at signing. $150 Million total guaranteed. Very interested to see how that is structured. I am sure there is some room between 4th/5th yr option and guaranteed money on extension. In 5 yrs from now, when COVID is done and the new TV contract is done, Mahomes/Dak/Josh will look like steals. It just takes time. We have our guy.
  14. So the prior 10 or so posts nailed it. Other teams with lesser QBs are sweating now. The starting QB market has been set at $40 Million+/yr Dak Prescott and Josh Allen set it. Mahomes is considered by many a generational talent. Weird it was Dallas and Buffalo to do it... embrace it we have our guy. I have 0 doubt, barring injury, that Allen is a : 60-70% completion guy 4000-5000 yards per year guy 30-50 TDs passing guy Those are Peyton Manning/ Aaron Rodgers/ Tom Brady numbers in their prime. Allen will also chip in: 300-500 yards rushing 5-10 TD rushing throughout the contract term Not too many QBs can do that. I think Justin Herbert will get close (not as good a runner) I think Lamar Jackson will get close (not as good a passer) I think Baker Mayfield will get close (a little less in both categories) But the cost to extend all of them just went up. Cleveland has to win now. Baltimore has to win now. Buffalo and the Chargers have some potential room coming up. I embrace JA being the face of the franchise and the new stadium. He is Buffalo Bills football now. I think it is a great bet.
  15. No it was a veggie sandwich with a cole slaw like substance as the bulk. My party did go to a McDonalds in India, it was cool being in a McDonalds without any burger selections. Mostly chicken or veggie offerings. And the McDonalds was slightly swanky compared to what we see in North America.
  16. Who's afraid of the big bad wolf The big bad wolf, the big bad wolf Who's afraid of the big bad wolf Tra la la la la Long ago there were three pigs Little handsome piggy wigs For the big, bad the very big, very bad wolf They did not give three figs Number one was very gay And he built his house with hay With a hey hey toot he blew on his flute And he played around all day Now number two was fond of jigs And so he built his house with twigs Hey, diddle diddle he played on his fiddle And danced with lady pigs Number three said, "Nix on tricks I shall build my house with bricks" He had no chance to sing or dance 'Cause work and play don't mix
  17. Worst for me was a Mayonnaise based sandwich at the Hyderabad airport in India. Felt it on the flight to Bengaluru. Threw up for two days after. Stateside is TGI Fridays on City Line Drive in Pennsylvania. I had explosive diarrhea before we left. Nearly ***** my pants in the parking lot. I ran back into the restaurant toward the bathroom taking no prisoners. Staff seemed to think this was normal. Have not eaten there since. Left my underwear in the garbage can. Would not recommend.
  18. I specifically watched him after he started making some noise earlier in the year. Later in the season and during playoffs, teams threw his way. Maybe birth by fire, but his playoffs seemed very pedestrian to me. Don't get me wrong, I like Dane, and think he is in the Bills top 5 Dark Horse Category, but the shimmer came off a bit in the playoffs.
  19. I think it is fair to say Bills fans consider LB to be a position that is unsettled. Happy Milano is back. Hoping Tre Edmunds can start making an impact, but the excuses are outweighing the performance.
  20. C will become a glaring need when MM has another concussion. (not if, but when) OG has been a glaring need since the switch from power to zone blocking. (hole now) Breida will do well here as a zone run RB. Buffalo failed even when OC #1 and OG #1 and OG #2 were available in round 2 and/or round 3 in the last draft. You protect the franchise at all costs. (FAIL) KC and BAL did though, they took OC #1 (2nd round #32) and OG #2 (2nd round #34) 2 picks and one pick after ours. This is why we can't have nice things. We took 2 DE in a weak DE class, and 2 OT projects when we needed IOL... At best 2 of these top 4 picks will see starting time as regulars over the next 5 years. 2 of 3 players noted (Humphrey/ Davis/ Cleveland) that Buffalo passed on will be starters and pro-bowlers/ all pros, and we will regret this draft.
  21. Seem to misunderstand the post. I'm a Feliciano fan. Made that clear in multiple posts. But the other OG is a mess and C is not settled. I also clearly pointed out that Moss ran better in a zone scheme. 4.6 > 2.8. That is basic math. My consensus is that better linemen = better balance = better for Josh Allen. Also pretty clear. The Buffalo Bills went from power blocking to zone blocking around week 5 or 6. That is also clear to many people. It helped Moss, maybe Singletary. Moss went from 2.8 YPC to 4.6 YPC. 0 TD to 4 TD. He went from 1:4 carries to 1:1 carries as ratio in that time. I can't explain this easier. Also clear to most people; Spain, a very good power blocker was off the team shortly after the switch to zone blocking, even though Spain was re-signed the prior offseason. Oops. This created a NEED at OG. Obvious right? For the draft: Humphrey was the consensus #1C in the draft by everyone. He was there at Buffalo's 2nd round pick. The fact Andy Reid took 0 time to take him two picks later says everything. Andy Reid seems to agree with me. Andy Reid is a terrible dad, but knows something about NFL offense. Our starting C is a shot to the head away from being out of the league forever. I worry about his long term health. It may have been wise to draft his replacement now, instead of later. But hey, who wants to plan for the immediate future at round two??? Wyatt Davis was a consensus #1 or #2 OG in the draft. He went a pick or two before Buffalo's pick in the 3rd, Ben Cleveland (OG) was also there. Baltimore, who drafts well, took Ben Cleveland the pick right after Buffalo took a project OT. I guess me and Baltimore Ravens GM Eric DeCosta agree too. I also knew ditching Teller was a mistake, as much as sticking with Ford is now. Doesn't take a genius.
  22. There's a crack in the mirror And a bloodstain on the bed There's a crack in the mirror And a bloodstain on the bed Oh, you were a vampire And baby, I'm the walking dead Oh, you were a vampire And baby, I'm the walking dead I got the ways and means To New Orleans I'm going down by the river Where it's warm and green I'm gonna have a drink and walk around I got a lot to think about Oh, yeah Oh, yeah (Concrete Blonde: The Vampire Song) one of my favorites
