  1. I think we miss D. Jones the most. He had one of the highest pressure rates in the league for a DT when he went down. The Bills were getting pressure with 4. The sack production for the entire line fell off a cliff when he went out.
  2. I pretty strongly disagree that any of CLE, PIT, CIN or DEN get to 10. DEN and CIN would have to go 4-1. PIT would have to go 3-1. CLE would have to go 3-2. CIN and PIT are done. I’m pretty sure DEN has 2 more losses looking at their schedule. CLE is on their 3rd string QB, and their best player is playing injured. There are no remaining games that CIN, PIT or CLE should win. At best there are games that are a toss up for them. To me, either the Bills get in at 10-7, or a different team gets the third spot at 9-8.
  3. The Browns looked downright ugly vs the Rams last week. Joe Flacco actually exceeded my expectations, but the defense seems like they have lost some of their juice. I think the Browns win one more game the rest of the year. I think the Steelers win one more game the rest of the year. Assuming the Colts and Texans make it, that would leave one spot for Broncos, Bengals and Bills. Bengals still play the Chiefs, Colts and Vikings, so I see 2 losses there for them. I think the Broncos split with the Chargers and lose to the Lions. My prediction is the Bills get in at 10-7, or miss on a tie breaker with Cincy or Denver at 9-8.
  4. Pittsburgh are frauds and Pickett is done for the year (maybe he can return the final week of the regular season if there is something to play for). Hopefully they can knock off the Colts next week and then politely lose out.
  5. Don’t really understand that. They had time for one more boundary throw. Then they can try whatever hook and ladder over the middle nonsense play they have.
  6. Try to get to midfield and out of bounds. Then toss up a prayer.
  7. Steelers thought they were playing the Bills on that 4th and 2. They would have drawn defensive pass interference for sure.
  8. I’m excited to see him out there. Maybe the injury was limiting him early in the year. Some of Allen’s most memorable plays are to Knox.
  9. This has a real “old man yells at clouds” vibe.
  10. I’m pretty sure Chiefs fans hate Cheffers. Hope that means he’ll be good for us!
  11. Dak would make sense, because it feels like the media has always "wanted" him to be a top QB. They pump him up even when he's going through mediocre stretches. Probably because Dallas is a huge media market and fan base. When Josh Allen goes through a mediocre stretch they get out the spit and roast him over an open flame.
  12. In theory the Beathard Jags could go 1-4 which would allow the Bills to pass them at 10-7. Bengals would still have to go 4-1 to pass us if they win tonight. I think Bengals winning gives us 2 viable paths of teams to pass. But Jags winning probably puts them out of reach.
  13. Other coaches will let their backup QB try to win with 20 seconds and a timeout. But not our coach with the best QB in the league.
  14. Next week there are 4 head-to-head matchups between backup QBs. What a mess this season is. Pats at Steelers Colts at Bengals Jags at Browns Vikings at Raiders
  15. Can you imagine Kyle Allen out there throwing up INTs? It wouldn't be pretty. Cook running into stacked boxes.
  16. I don't think I've ever seen a false start on a QB and I've watched a lot of football. It's happened twice this drive.
  17. So...AFC teams that have lost their QBs for the year: - Jets - Colts - Browns - Steelers - Jags - Raiders (sort of, part injury, part benching) - Pats (benching) - Bengals 5 of these teams are ahead of us if the Bengals win...
  18. They've stunk even more than we have historically.
  19. I don’t mind Cinci winning tonight. No way the Bengals go 5-1 the rest of the way including tonight without Burrow. That is what they would have to do to even have a chance.
  20. There is no way we win out and miss. 3/4 of Houston, Indy, Cleveland and Pittsburgh would have to go 4-1. Cleveland and Pittsburgh are a lot more likely to go 1-4 than 4-1.
  21. Assuming we will hold no tie breakers and the Bills finish 10-7 (allowing one more loss). We need 4 out of the following 6 records (or worse) to happen. Browns to go 2-3 Steelers to go 2-3 Colts to go 2-3 Texans to go 2-3 Broncos to go 3-2 Bengals to go 4-2 Here they are in the order I think they are most likely Bengals will lose at least 2 more games with Burrow out all year. Broncos will lose 2 more games (split with the Chargers and lose to the Lions). Steelers will lose 3 more games (at Colts, at Seahawks, at Ravens). Browns will lose 3 more games (Jacksonville, at Texans, and then one more loss between Bears, Jets and Bengals). Colts will lose 3 more games (Raiders, at Falcons, Texans) Texans will lose 3 more games (2x Titans, at Colts) Obviously there is some overlap in these scenarios because teams play each other. If the Bills can get to 10-7 I think the most likely playoff teams will be Colts, Texans and Bills (with the Browns having a decent chance of knocking out the Bills if they can manage to only get 2 more losses the rest of the way).
  22. Browns and Steelers might win one more game the rest of the season between them.
  23. Will the Browns win another game?
  24. Commanders are 100% checked out. They sold off their best defenders at the trade deadline and everybody knows the new owner is going to clean house at the end of the year. They may not win another game.
