  1. added 11. Ayomanor - Projects as a high end 2 and maybe a one. 6-2, 4.44 12. D!ke - Likely a slot, but the better Gator on the board. 6-0, 4.34 The Bills likely also have interest in Safety Billy Bowman in the 4th rd
  2. Cynical but fair. You never know until they hit the field, but the best news is that none of these 3 have to start unless they earn it.
  3. Absolutely, but he did it with guys who can make an immediate impact this coming season and you can project as starters. In fact, I think Hairston and Jackson could win starting jobs this season. With these picks you could see how Beane projects his lineup this season CB2 - White and Hairston - not sure who starts DT 1 - Oliver backed up by Sanders DT2 - Jones backed up by Carter Edge - Rousseau and Bosa backed up by Solomon (& Hoecht when he returns) DE - AJE and Jackson - I think Jackson’s speed could push AJE to the bench.
  4. More trades, but ultimately a deep threat WR, a safety, a TE and it will depend how many picks they have left after the trades. One writer mentioned that they could grab IU’s QB Rourke, who is coming off surgery, with a late pick and stash him on IR for the season. I love this idea. Rourke was amazing last season for IU. Big guy with a strong arm and surprisingly mobile. He lead IU to the playoff on a torn ACL. Give him a year to heal, learn from Josh and Brady and he’ll be ready to be the backup in 2026.
  5. I couldn’t disagree with you more. They aren’t moving Cook. If anything they will tag for 2026. They are a ton of guys I really like at WR who could make a strong impact in 2025. Most are the deep threat guys I’ve previously mentioned. I am disappointed that Felton got drafted right after I posted earlier. Don’t forget Puka Nucoa was drafted in the 5th rd.
  6. One thing about both the Jackson and Sanders picks is that they hint that the Bills are still high on Carter and Solomon. The Sanders pick allows Carter to shift to the one. Jackson is an upgrade over AJE which implies they like Solomon’s motor off the edge as Bosa’s backup. Essentially the depth on the DL looks like: Solomon backing up Bosa and Rousseau. Jackson backing up (maybe even beating out) AJE Carter backing up Jones Sanders backing up Oliver We’ll see where Lodge fits during camp and how Hoecht and Ogunjobi fit when they return from suspension.
  7. I suspect Beane will use one of the picks from 169 to 177 to move up in the 4th and take the deep threat WR they need. Felton, Royals, Thornton, Ayonmanor, Bond, Arian Smith, Bike (ok not really his name but the site goes *** if I spell it properly), and Horton are all still available and all fit our need for a deep threat with speed.
  8. Who? Future backup Bills QB drafted with pick 240.
  9. I may be a little biased since I've actually watched all 3 players in college and all 3 made a positive impression on me. That said they all fit our needs, are guys the Bills have been monitoring all offseason and are guys you can project as future starters. Hairston brings speed that our secondary is sorely lacking and I can see him winning a starting job in camp. He is also a ball hawk. Sanders has the ability to backup both Jones and Oliver and brings real pass rushing ability from the middle. It will be interesting to watch how they deploy Carter and Sanders. We can't forget that Carter is 6-3 305 and can play the one as well. Lastly Landon Jackson is just a sound football player. I think he is a better version of AJE.
  10. TV needs to do a better job of getting the picks out and broadcast simultaneously with X.
  11. I believe Beane will only make 7 picks in this draft. I see Beane being very aggressive up or down to get the players he wants the rest of the way using the 4 picks from 169 to 206 to ultimately improve the overall level of those 7 picks. Our remaining needs in no particular order are DT (Jones’ replacement), Edge (Bosa or AJE replacement), Safety (Rapp replacement), TE (fill hole from Morris departure), Deep threat WR, and 1 misc, but probably not a OL. Maybe a LB, extra CB, a backup QB. I like the idea of Bowman in the 3rd or early 4th. I’d like to see Beane grab one of Royals, Felton, Kyle Williams, Thornton or Arian Smith as the deep threat WR. So why only 7? There aren’t enough roster spots to accommodate 10 draftees. Right now 52 roster spots are spoken for. That leaves one open slot, but I have 6 players/slots who I think could lose their jobs on the 52. QB -White or Trubisky won’t make the team. LB - Spector, CB - Ingram, Dane Jackson or Codrington won’t make the team. S - either Cam Lewis or Hamlin won’t make the team. OL - Green won’t make the team. TE - Davidson won’t make the team.
  12. I have been saying this for weeks. Running through the mock drafts if the Bills didn’t grab a CB in the first, they’d all be taken by the time the Bills draft again at 56. This draft is deep at Edge and DT, some one good will fall to us at 56 & 62. My one caveat is that depending on how things fall, I can see the Bills trading back to recover a 3rd rd pick to grab and WR or Safety with a late 3rd. The deal would look something like 62 and 132 for 65-67 and a pick in the 90’s. The Giants were my likely target but their trade in the first sent away their pick at 99. Maybe now Cleveland is the target with 67 and 94.
  13. 4.28 speed. Ball hawk. 39 in vertical. This is the type of player the Bills secondary has been dying for. Who in the Bills secondary has even close to that kind of speed? I don’t know if he is a day 1 starter. It will depend on how Tre looks, but he’ll be in the mix for sure. Love the pick. Hopefully he reaches his potential.
  14. @LEBills All those Gators are clearly keeping us from winning the big one. We need players from teams that actually win big games - GA, Bama, OSU, and Mich. The Eagles had on their roster this season 5 guys who played for Bama, 5 Bulldawgs, 3 Wolverines and 1 Buckeye. We had 4 Bama, 3 Dawgs, and 1 Buckeye. We also have 3 UB Bulls.
  15. I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw the thread title, but this is very well done. What an interesting approach to trying to read into Beane's thought process when drafting. ChatGPT couldn't have done a better job. I obviously watch plenty of GA football. Arian has (had?) a concentration problem rather than terrible hands. He improved significantly last season with the Dawgs and had by far his best season catching the football and being a difference maker. I'd love to see him join the Bills.
  16. Like all software, garbage in garbage out. Ask it another another 50 times and see what happens.
  17. It would be like Deja vu all over again. (Thanks Yogi)
  18. No one thinks this is anywhere near the best WR room in the NFL. Everyone wants it to be better, including Beane and Josh. However, our passing attack isn't predicated on WRs as much as WRs, TEs and RBs. We may have the best group of pass catching RBs in the NFL with 3 guys who can catch, break tackles and out run defenders. Kincaid, when healthy, is as dangerous as most WRs and brings size. The truth is what is truly missing is someone who can take the top off the defense. Coleman, who should improve in year 2, isn't that guy. Samuel has the speed, but no one has every utilized him in that manner. Palmer can get down field, but isn't a HR threat. In this draft there are guys with that HR ability and the good news for the Bills is that most of those guys are actually Rd 4-5 players.
  19. No question both are overpaid. I wouldn't have signed either player, but I'm not the GM. However, they are here and Brady, Josh, Beane and McD need to find away to get value out of them. I do think Palmer has the chance to have a breakout year here. My opinion as to why WR is unlikely to be the priority on days 1 & 2 of the draft simply comes down to why did the Bills lose in the playoffs the last 2 years? The answer was defensive mistakes much brought on by lack of adequate D depth. With White, D Jones and Bosa as current projected starters, given their ages, injury histories and 1 year contracts, it's imperative that Beane get long-term replacements for them in the draft, especially in a drafted loaded with Edge and DT early with a decent amount of talented CBs. It's simply a matter of demand meeting supply. Add that the WR crop is not the greatest (especially compared to last season) early in the draft and our signing of Palmer, leads me to believe that WR isn't an early priority. The biggest caveat for me at WR is somehow Egbuka falls to 30. If I were Beane and Egbuka was sitting there at 30, I'd throw away my draft script and take him and then let the chips fall where they may. He is the one WR who might be available at 30 who would change our offense for the better for the next 5-7 years.
  20. What? Palmer is a proven NFL receiver. Samuel is a proven NFL receiver. They aren't stars and Brady needs to rethink how he utilized (or didn't utilize) Samuel, but they are proven NFL players. Just FYI: Samuel has 4 seasons in his career with over 600 yards receiving, including one with 800+ yards. Palmer has 3 of 580+ in his 4 NFL season including one over 750 yards. Palmer has averaged over 15 yards per catch in the last 2 seasons. Beane is investing up to $12 mill a season in Palmer. He is going to play the Amari Cooper role this coming season with probably just as good or better results. That said, I agree on wanting more vertical threat(s) down the field and guys like Felton, Kyle Williams, Arian Smith and Thornton can deliver that ability.
