How did GA win that game? Ole Miss looked one drive from dominating. Somehow GA got 3 stops in the 4th and out scored the Rebels 17-0 in the 4th. Impressive win. Chaos winning in college football. 4 more top 10 teams lose. Undefeated Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Memphis and Miami all lose. GA Tech undefeated. Vandy 6-1.

The Sabres, since they tanked, are going on 15 years of failure. It's also a biblical reference to the Israelites wandering in the desert for 40 years. The upshot is tanking by bad organizations, be it the Sabres or the Dolphins, doesn't turn the franchise around, but creates more long-term failure.

Any injury updates?

I understand the frustration, but there is more at stake then a couple of drives. The Bills need to spread the workload. No matter how good Cookie is, the more pounding he takes early in the year the more likely he'll be slowed by injuries later in the year when we need him most. We need to get Davis and Johnson more involved. If they can't do the job, then we need to give Gore a look. Cook and Josh can't carry all the load. It's really that simple. Against a mediocre team like NO, that is a perfect opportunity to try to get Davis and Johnson more involved. I do agree with you that the play calling in those 3 drives was suspect, but that doesn't change the objective, or the overall quality of work done by Brady as our OC.

Yes. Beating Ill, a top 10 team at the time, 63-10 says so. Beating Iowa on the road the following week says so as well.

In the last 5 drives of that game, Josh was 17/22 for 259 yards a throwing TD and 2 rushing TDs. In those 5 drives the Bills scored 3 TDs and a walk off field goal.

This is why we pay to watch Cookie play instead of getting paid to manage an NFL team.

My best to your family. I hope and pray that she recovers fully. She is fortunate to have family that loves and supports her. That kind of support will go along way to helping her get better. As a further point of reference, in Brady's 33 games (RS & playoffs), the Bills have scored under 20 points only twice; the Baltimore Beatdown (10 pts), and the Trubisky started game against NE to finish last season (16 pts). That's it.

Close game through 3 qtrs but the NE can’t stop Josh and the 3 TEs. Bills lead 21 -17 after 3. Buffalo scores early in the 4th to lead 28-17, but NE drives behind some penalties and missed tackles to get it to 28-24. Cook breaks a long run followed by a Shakir score with a 1:40 left to go up 35-24. Bishop gets an int late to seal the victory. Final score, Bills 35, Pats 24.

Josh was 9/30 that game for only 130 yards. The running game was fine with 150 yards and average 5.4 yards a carry. We also had 4 scoring drives. I chalk that game up to Josh having a rare bad game.

I think the difference is balance, but also the Bills are less likely to get “behind the stick;” meaning our proficient running game and short passing game tends to keep us out of 3rd and long. As shown in the video, it’s hard to stop a team gaining 7 yards+ consistently on 1st down. Not to get to far off the thread, but the Bills defense has been good at getting teams behind the sticks, but lousy at stopping 3rd and long.
