Diggs had a ball that he should’ve caught that would’ve changed the game. There wasn’t much other than that in the way of downfield separation. The game was there for the taking.

The thing you should be impressed with is the fact he had a game plan against KC that worked perfectly. Control the ball, keeping Mahomes off the field against a banged up undermanned defense . We dominated with 39 minutes and 78 plays against their 46. The run game with Josh and Cook ,underneath passes to the sidelines with limited exposure to TOs because our receivers were not getting separation against a great KC secondary. Finally, we were in a position to win but between a bad kicker and Dion getting pushed into Josh preventing him from completing a TD pass in the End Zone to Shakir, it didn’t happen, but it wasn’t because of Brady.

I guess scoring and wins are secondary to you and being multidimensional with your attack especially since the passing game is limited in Dec and Jan because of the elements. Give me one statistic that Dorsey’s offense was better at .Finally, why do you think Dorsey was fired after 11 games with the team at 6 and 5? Losing to juggernauts like the Jets, NE, Denver. Easy to second guess draft choices. Oliver was a good pick as evidenced by the year he had after he got paid. Lack of speed on defense has a lot to do with injuries. With Milano, Rousseau, Bernard, Miller, and Tre White there’s enough speed. Williams is a draft that will pay dividends the next few seasons. You neglect to mention Shakir, Kincaid with a trade, Cook and a guard that played every play this season. Miller, White and Diggs contracts will be a problem when Josh explodes but you can’t take big swings if you’re afraid of injuries. You also neglected to mention the Douglas acquisition which helped win 6 straight.

I think Brady is the right guy for Josh. He called nice games after Dorsey set play calling back 40 years. He let Josh be Josh and we looked unpredictable and multidimensional. I think Brady will even be better next season.

I know there’s plenty of excuses for the ineptitude we displayed against the Chiefs.(injuries, short turnaround and Mahomes) Sean, however with “next man up “ and no excuses mentality, didn’t distinguish himself as a DC. worth going forward with. He couldn’t come close to Mahomes with a 4 man rush and stubbornly stayed with it. When he brought pressure in the 2nd half, there were wide open receivers and quick scores as evidenced by the amount of plays they ran. His defense allowed runners to embarrass us even though we knew they would be run heavy. For anyone to think that our loss was anything but on that defense is silly. Sean is a good defensive coach but his weakness is overrating his personnel and wishing and hoping divine intervention will make everything ok.

Shakir is an up and coming star. He makes catches other receivers routinely drop and gets YAC with the best of them. Two catches that defines how clutch and brilliant he is are the catch behind him against the Chargers and the go ahead TD against KC.

Well done, perfect assessment. Shakir had separation and hadn’t had a drop in months, the fact that Dion got bull rushed into Josh’s ability to step into that throw was the biggest disappointment. Josh executed the game plan to perfection. Controlled the ball for 39 minutes, 78 plays to keep Mahomes on the sideline. Scored on 4 long drives and should’ve been 5 if Bass hits the chip shot. Undermanned defense gave up quick drives with little resistance. How unclutch was Diggs and Sherfield in that game. Very frustrating.

A great season for Leonard and I hope it translates into a nice multi year contract. He can’t come back because we have other pressing needs and his asking price will be prohibitive. Another one year deal for a veteran edge guy will be Beane’s answer.

Bass is a great kid and I thought he would be our PK for the rest of the decade. Now, I wouldn’t trust him to kick an extra point to win a game. He can’t walk into next season anointed as the presumptive starter.

I like Gabe and I see him having a good NFL career but he’s not a good fit for us after the rookie contract. We need a more dynamic #2 that can stretch the field.

Josh is a freak of nature and I don’t see him breaking down until his late 30s. It’s up to the front office to surround him with a fresh set of talented receivers to go with Kincaid and Shakir. Our O-line will only get better and our defense has a quality DC. The way we closed out the season with the emergence of a legitimate running game should not be lost in the frustration of the Chiefs game that we could’ve won if we made a play or two.

100% agree, he had Shakir and makes that throw with ease with wind at his back if he doesn’t get jostled. The next throw I would love to have back. That’s where Brady could’ve come up with something better.

The Bills have their trajectory pointing up. They have their QB and that’s huge. They’re in a division that should get them a home playoff game. Remember every year they should learn from losing big games. Manning didn’t get a ring until his 9th season. Give Josh a legitimate #1and 2 receiver with this O-line and Cook and a healthy McDermott defense and I like our chances. This year we were really close. That last drive didn’t work out because Josh got jostled before he could step into the throw to Shakir. If we get the TD there, it’s not for sure Mahomes scores a Touchdown. We were outmanned in that game, riddled with injuries on defense( AJ Klein MLB, Douglas (knee) and our front was not able to get any pressure on Mahomes or stop the run, and we were right there. One game from the SB. Forget the 4 decades and never lose hope. Are you not being entertained by this team and especially a generational QB doing his thing. Most fans rooting for other teams would kill a relative to have Josh playing for their team.

I thought the same but he was much better after 6 and 6. He let Brady do his thing and really tightened up a beleaguered defense. If he doesn’t make mistakes with personnel like keeping a kicker that has issues or not signing off on trading Diggs, we should be alright. He’s a solid motivator and the players play hard.

I don’t think Josh will wait much longer to win it all. The 1st time he brings a healthy squad with a receiving corps that have a legitimate 1 and 2, he’ll win. Just be patient and we’ll get there.
