  1. Bishop seems timid and out of position mostly. He needs this season to adjust to pro football.
  2. Cook was definitely out of bounds but the Kincaid catch looked perfect,. That doesn’t mean these reviewers wouldn’t keep the call because it was incomplete on the field. Not convinced it wasn’t the right decision because it would’ve spent a crucial timeout if the call stuck. Sean’s problems were more pronounced with the last series.
  3. Not only would that inject positive energy into the entire team indicating management is all in, but it also it would allow Coleman to develop without the pressure of being Josh’s #1 receiver. Right now, if defenses take Cook away(like Baltimore did) and pin their ears back and bring multiple rushers off the edge, Josh is running for his life. There is no passing threat that defenses have to defend with double teams. Trading for an available #1 or #2 like Cooper or a Kirk would be worth considering.
  4. Unfortunately there were crucial 3 down and long, and 2nd down and long conversions in those other completions and long gains on the 5 yd dump offs you referenced to make up for the 156. Factor in over 250 in rush yds and the safeties look pretty invisible.
  5. Our safeties were soft, slow and in the wrong coverage all night against Baltimore. For a team that played 2deep zone a lot , there were so many wide open receivers that I thought we had 9 players on the field. Against the run, we featured poor.tackling and made Ravens O- linemen and Henry look like HOF. I think if we were adding a player it would be at safety.
  6. That I’ll timed lateral play, which almost got Josh knocked out, was a momentum killer and the worst call Brady has made all season. The worst part was the fact that Tyrone Jones, a cheap shot tub of goo, obliterated Josh and the Bills never retaliated. Our O-line had been letting free rushers wreck the game all night, but allowing this thug to get away with taking a running start and blowing our franchise up with a kill shot without any response doesn’t reflect well on guys that Josh gives credit to and credibility with team success. Sickening.
  7. Knox should not have been extended and that’s the biggest knock on Brandon. He just wasted so much cap space on unproductive players. Miller, Knox, Milano, White, Morse are sucking up needed resources. Just a quick question, why hasn’t Sean/ Beane demanded play design involving the newly resigned Knox. The guy looks totally forgotten by Brady and Josh.
  8. Agreed, also premature and silly.
  9. After an All-Pro season, we lose one game, with the coaching and every single defensive player and O -lineman playing like sissy’s, you start talking about who we should have drafted 5 years ago?. People lose interest in forums like this because of these posts.
  10. Brady had a very bad game and obviously is still struggling to operate the 12 personnel double TE offense. Knox is invisible and Kincaid had some early targets but nothing meaningful. This offense revolves around Cook running successfully opening up opportunities for Shakir, Coleman and Samuel.
  11. Why is it that after one loss fans start making irrational pronouncements about how a great QB,who clearly has changed his attitude about risking injury, has been diminished (lost a step). For three weeks he was the odds on favorite to be MVP without meaningful designed runs or scrambles that didn’t end in slides. You don’t want Josh exposed to debilitating injuries because this offense is nothing without his direction. Why would you question his training regimen or even want him to extend runs at risk of taking hits like the other night? Do you realize the offensive strategy against the Ravens allowed free rushers all night and he was able miraculously to avoid them. He should have been sacked at least 5 times. Our defense wasn’t prepared physically or coached to deal with Henry or their wide open receivers at any point in that game. It is not sustainable to ask Josh to play. throwing caution to the wind, like he did against Arizona when he almost broke his wrist. Our coaching staff has to take a good look in the mirror because that disastrous performance will be copied by every future opponent.
  12. Please sign him and get Bass the hell out of here.
  13. Absolutely right, that hit deserves retaliation in a huge way. Our O - line should grow some testicles.
  14. Other than Kelly, those other QBs would have been under 500%, with the exception of Flutie. He was elusive and productive. He might have been successful with this roster. Kelly’s release was quick and that’s what Brady’s offense is designed to feature.
  15. I have no confidence that Matt can stay on the field. Between his crunching tackles and sideline to sideline all out pursuit, his body just doesn’t hold up. With the emergence of Dorian, if we limit Matt’s snaps and strategically rotate him situationally, that’s the best scenario.
  16. This is great news. First resign Tua and then extend McDaniel . That effectively makes Miami a soft , non-competitive fake team with an underachieving defense and a cap strangling QB and overrated receivers for the foreseeable future.
  17. You know the elite QBs and the HC gets blamed for losses and credit for wins. Do you honestly believe Josh was fairly evaluated after the losses to Cinci and KC the last 2 years. They kept saying too many turnovers, he plays hero ball, he’s not Burrow or as good as Lamar. Did anyone think the Bills would be able to compete after losing Diggs and Davis. Only Bills fans understand how great he is.
  18. Obviously your logic is sound and I don’t disagree with anything you said. However the way Josh will be accepted by discerning football observers as the best must be connected to wins in the biggest moments. Defense and coaching is always part of the equation but it’s a bottom line business and Mahomes overcame Josh’s heroics in “13 seconds” and beat the Bengals single-handedly 2 years ago on one leg. If Josh could have won that game last year and then gone into Baltimore and beat the one seed Ravens, he would have had a case. The coaching has improved and addition by subtraction with no Diggs. This is the year we get it done.
  19. That’s obvious because Brady has won six SBs. It’s not about beating Mahomes, it’s getting to the big game, beating whoever is there.
  20. We’re talking about anointing Josh as the best QB in football. It’s about winning games in the regular season and advancing in the playoffs. So far Josh only done the former. Mahomes has done both. It’s a QB driven league, that’s why they’re paid 50plus million a year and usually it’s going to be Mahomes on the other team we have to beat. So as far as being considered the best, you have to vanquish Mahomes.
  21. I love Josh and am in awe of his talent and leadership. I firmly believe he will bring us multiple SBs. The comparison and talk of a changing of the guard and overtaking Mahomes as the best QB in football is silly. Until Josh beats KC in the playoffs it’s just partisan fans getting way ahead of themselves. Now last season it was a Diggs drop, getting jostled on his last throw into the end zone and a Bass missed chip shot that ended our season, so it’s a team breakdown that held him back, but Mahomes always overcomes team obstacles. Josh’s time is coming but beating limited QBs( Tua, Trevor,) is not the “changing of the guard “. Now Mahomes admits he’s been unimpressive this season but last year KC stunk until the playoffs and then ran the table.
  22. Your assessment of them having a challenge to stop Josh and Co. is on the money. Cook will be an integral part of every win for us because he’s becoming a matchup nightmare out of the backfield either on dump offs or go patterns against LBS or safeties. He also is a threat to get big chunks on cutbacks. Our offense is becoming so multidimensional with the improved O - line play and Josh having multiple great targets. TEs and backs are making big contributions in the pass game and Josh is demoralizing defenses with QB draws. If we keep away from TOs, it’s hard to beat us.
  23. The Ravens game will be a big test for both teams. Don’t take the Jags destruction as an indication of total NFL dominance. The Bills are still vulnerable to a running team with an elusive QB. as the Cards showed in game one. Henry is still a beast and Flowers, and those 2 TEs are formidable. The question for Baltimore is can they defend Josh and the multiple weapons at his disposal. I’d love to have a healthy Taron and our starting MLB but the depth as played well. I like our chances if there is no damaging TOs.
  24. McGovern is probably the best story after 2 games. The transition from Morse at center and the addition of Edwards at guard has translated to better run game and pass protection. Connor is just a great O-lineman and his versatility is obvious.
