not sure this was posted but Hoecht deserves some love
MPL replied to Ben's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dude could never play another game and might still finish in my Top 50 favorite Bills players of all time. -
Looking much better today, at least from a participation standpoint. Benford looking iffy. Time to up the reps for Hairston, and unfortunately, the Bills continue to not be able to keep Tre off the field.

I once heard someone describe Joe Burrow as "fancy Kirk Cousins." I'm still laughing about that.- 72 replies

What team "won" on trade deadline day-2025 edition
MPL replied to TBBills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Colts basically decided that they're rolling with Daniel Jones for the next few years after 9 games against a pretty schedule. Interesting. -
Can you guys stop hitting refresh so much? It's killing MY ability to quickly refresh. Thanks.

The Jets stockpiling 1st round picks with what has to be one of the absolute worst college QB classes in recent memory coming out is so Jets.

There is a pretty big talent chasm between McDaniels/Welker/Gronk/Hernandez and Brady/Shakir/Kincaid/Knox. Only difference I see here is that Knox hasn't killed a guy. At least, not that we know of 👀

Dude just got dumped by his girlfriend via text and slapped #BillsMafia #tradedeadline on there for attention.

Yup. It might seem crazy, but I think Cam Lewis gives your more than Taron at this point. They did some really interesting things with Lewis and Bishop last night that you can't do with Taron. Also, Lewis has been a much more physical player than Taron this year.

Seeing him hopping on one leg and still trying to make a play was wild. Hope he's able to come back at some point next year. Fingers crossed it turns out to be just a partial tear, similar to Terrell Suggs' 2012 achilles tear.

Michael Hoecht Achilles Injury (Confirmed torn Achilles out for the year)

Is there anyone out there that can be acquired that can give you what Hoecht did? -
Jordan Hancock time

Kind of hope they don't make a move on McDaniels this week. That team is a mess and I don't want them getting that little extra interim head coach boost before they plus us next week.

Remember that thread earlier in the week about what you most disliked about the chiefs? It's this type of s*** right here.

I have a hypothesis re: Allen that checks a couple boxes

Becoming a father definitely made me a bad quarterback. But I was already a bad quarterback to begin with. -
Kansas City.... Who/What do you despise the most?
MPL replied to henry jones's topic in The Stadium Wall
As both a Chiefs fan (KC native) and secondary Bills fan (weird, I know, but it's complicated) I think the fanbases are mirror images of each other. Both are loud and passionate. Blue collar, for the most part. Small market. A history of heartbreak. I've never met a Chiefs fan that didn't admire Josh Allen and respect the Bills organization. Of all the Chiefs' rivals, the Bills are the least "hated" from what I've seen. Can you point me to specific examples of jerk KC fans? Of course! But you wouldn't have to look too hard at every fanbase to find the same. I can only speak for myself, but during this magical run I've heard Chiefs fans praise the Bills more than any other rival. Or at least give the grudging respect the Bills deserve. You should hear Chiefs fans talk about the Raiders, Donkeys and Bolts -- screw those teams and their fans! Fair enough. It's mostly a handful of accounts that are amplified on social media that annoy me. Oh, and Nick Wright. That guy is doing Chiefs fans a major disservice. -

I think, for me, it's mostly the fans who punch down at the Bills/Bills fans. Like, as a Chiefs fan, you're getting to experience a dynasty — something that very very very few sports fans ever get to experience. The Bills have caused you absolutely zero pain. Like, just don't s*** on us and be happier people. -
Von Miller Has More Sacks This Season Than Any Bills Player Thus Far...

You do realize how much money we'd be paying for those 4 sacks if he was still on the team right now, right? -
The New Guys: Hairston, Hoecht, Ogunjobi plus Hancock
MPL replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hairston’s first NFL tackle took a guy out of the game. Thought he looked pretty sticky in coverage but need a closer look at all-22. I don’t know why, but I’ve just got a feeling — and I think a lot of Bills fans have this feeling —that Jordan Hancock is going to be something. Thought it was very interesting that they had him in for Poyer on obvious passing downs. -
10/26/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Panthers 1st Half game thread

We still trying to trade AJ? -
Poyer can't be worse than what Rapp was putting on tape this year. He's been a borderline good safety throughout his career, but his play absolutely fell off a cliff this year. He got hurt in the playoffs last year and it kind of got forgotten about it. I wonder if he's just not the same after that inury, and whatever this "lingering knee" is. I'd like to see Hancock get some run, but if the coaching staff isn't comfortable putting him out there yet, I trust that that's a good sign he wouldn't be an upgrade. Can't think of any examples where the coaches were hesitant about a guy and then proven wrong about their hesitation when he finally played.
