  1. Went to work and made some money, just got home, so it worked out perfectly. I can watch the Raiders to kill the rest of the time.
  2. I assume as game time gets near people will lower the price and people who usually wouldn't be able to go (younger fans) will buy them and couldn't care less about the cold.
  3. That would be awesome. Tre is the embodiment of what this team is IMO. I hate he is missing this, but I hope this isn't his last chance to experience it in Buffalo.
  4. Almost like they knew he was sacrificial when they hired him. No QB, no draft picks, zero way to improve the team in one year knowing he came into an untalented roster. Yet, you fire him for being ineffective like there was any other possible outcome this year.
  5. I could see him trying, but that's literally 5 more years minimum unless he goes on a run. 73-74 is pretty old to be coaching in the NFL.
  6. Only reason I give the Steelers any sort of shot is because KC is severely banged up. Kelce and Hill are literally limping during the final game of the season. I felt KC had to luck into the bye to have a chance this post season, which they did not. Still think they get past the Steelers though.
  7. I always thought roster decisions were the cause of chaos in Miami. How much Flores had to do with that I'm unsure, but if he had no control I wouldn't have fired him. You can't win with Tua.
  8. Congratulations to Georgia. Bama defense got outplayed in the 4th, young receivers did not help.
  9. I like it as well, because I will be home to watch it. Extra days never hurt, need to win first though lol.
  10. It was a good comp when he was coming out of college, at this point he has surpassed Cam in ability at the position.
  11. I'm not sure why Quinn is getting so much attention. He's an excellent D coordinator, but he had plenty of talent in ATL and couldn't make it happen. Not sure why it's different somewhere new. The Super Bowl year Shanahan was the reason mainly because of his offense. Never know though.
  12. I've always hated this line of thought. You show up and in 3 months your better than 95% of the people in your capacity at the company, yet they don't want to honor it until you show "loyalty". They will drop you as soon as it makes business sense to do so, so why should you be loyal to a job? I started my own company so it's much easier now to understand why I'm loyal to my company. Though I do understand most of my employees feel just like I used to.
  13. The original post wasn't that great, but this is pure gold.
  14. As an electrical contractor I can guarantee you by the time you pay workers to remove the stuff safely for reuse and then pay more guys to reinstall it with the potential breaks and what not, it's cheaper to buy new stuff. It's not a DIY weekend project where sweat equity is king.
  15. I don't disagree with the OP, though I caution you that they are entertainers. Most of the viewing public doesn't really know what a penalty is. That said, do they care if a commentator botches the rule when explaining it? Not really, as long as they are entertained. I'm like you and would prefer guys that know what they are talking about, though then what would I complain about when watching the game? Most people watch for first downs and touchdowns, everything else is just a formality.
  16. Chiefs game was fun, though the ensuing loses made it fade quickly. Patriots was better imo
  17. Not pointless, just shows that "things" happen. Josh gets the score against the Titans, there's one. We get the call or Diggs catches the ball against the Bucs there's 2. We could go on but why? They are in the dance and nothing matters besides what's in front of them. 3 months ago means nothing, or 3 weeks ago. Win out and no one remembers anything but you winning.
  18. Idk, keep it under 600$ and you can't be given a 1099, so therefore it doesn't mess up any benefits you may or may not receive. Straight cash home. Not a dig on anyone btw, just the way it is these days.
  19. Definitely weird, and I'm not 100% in favor of the current system. I would rather see an under 24 league that serves as a "minor league" of sorts. Hit 25 and you can't be in it any longer. Kids that want money can go there, and the kids who actually WANT to be a student-athlete can choose a college and it would actually be about the pageantry of college football again. For the record I never see that happening. You will always be able to cherry pick a Bryce Young type situation to prove a point, and vice versa with a kid not getting a fair shake. Overall though before the portal and NIL the players were powerless.
  20. The way we are built I'd rather play KC. Tennessee is always an issue.
  21. That's true about the NIL deals, though I do think it's written that way to protect the schools (boosters) not the players. Players can get promised whatever to come to a school, but if they end up being a 2 star in a 5 stars body, their scholarship and NIL deals are gone in a heartbeat. Players benefitting is just a consequence of protecting the boosters from having to pay kids who are no longer with the team (for whatever reason) etc.
  22. If the Titans get a healthy Derrick Henry with fresh legs at the start of the playoffs, I would be worried. It's a huge if though, I'm not sold on a 240 pound man healing a foot that quickly to where he can stop/cut/run at 100%. Running in practice and game time cuts are 2 completely different things.
  23. Don't be mad at the kid, Lincoln Riley sat in his living room at his parents house and told him how he would be there at OU etc. Where's Lincoln? Off to make a bigger check. The Kid clearly says OU is still an option but this is the only way he can make sure he ends up with a coach that's a fit for him. If he's smart offensive fit is way more important than NIL money. But like I said, he was basically lied to by Lincoln so it's hard to fault him for doing what's best for him.
