It’s Friday night on a Bills forum, I sure hope I’m not the only one multiple glasses deep!

Like I said to my dad after the game last week, he sure as hell is fun to watch. Even with the “bad”. Football should be entertainment and we were living on the diet version (being generous) for about 20 years. Give me that huge burger and throw the bacon on top, maybe even a fried egg! health be damned!

The problem is that at some point all the depth players become cheap, fringe Roster type guys. I prefer Bean’s approach instead of the Whaley “madden roster” approach. There’s too many injuries in football, I like having a few big names and filling the rest in with solid middle of the road type players.

Been trying for years to win some, no luck yet. I did get the opportunity to buy some US open tickets for Kiawah next year and was planning on going since I got to play it a couple years ago. By the time my window rolled around, only practice rounds and Thursday were left, so didn’t end up pulling the trigger.

I think it’s probably Horrible Harry. I know he got pretty close to Pancho & family during his battle.

Alone else try to use the streaming Sunday ticket via a browser yesterday? I could not get logged in on my laptop although the app worked fine when I fired it up on mobile devices.

Why do people think the kid can’t throw? Do you guys even watch the games? He makes some throws that few, if any other people can. And he’s getting better.

His “strengths” won’t matter if he’s on IR. It’s not like the guy can’t throw. And I’m not saying never run him. But I definitely agree with the OP’s assessment here.

Nice! I’m just down the road a bit in Westerville. My family is all from WNY but have all moved out here as well as a handful of friends so we always have a good Bills group every Sunday. Well when I’m not up there at least, still have seasons.

I typically lean conservative, although I hate that it automatically associates me with a whole bunch of other BS I don’t necessarily subscribe to. I think that’s the worst thing about political / social issues these days, you’re either labeled one extreme or the other. I think that was well done and it’s hard to argue much about what was said. Hoping for better times for our country as a whole and hoping that in some small stupid way, this nfl season can help bring us together a bit, as weird as that sounds. Go Bills!!!!

My house, hosting our Usual little Bills contingent here in Cbus. Pool is still open for one more week so will have the game on outside on a wall of the pool house via projector.

I’ve finally started getting nervous / in the mode in the last couple hours. It’s just been a weird lead up this year.

That Giants game was definitely the worst game I’ve been to weather wise because I wasn’t prepared either. Not nearly the coldest, windiest or wettest, but just didn’t have the proper gear that day. I think I had jeans on. That day we had some extra seats in the Kelly club so the wives / girlfriends sat up there while we sat out in our normal season seats in section 109. I remember meeting them on the way out of the stadium and they were dry, warm and happy. Felt like we were near hypothermia. To make matters worse, I think we blew an early lead in that meaningless game. Think Brandon Jacobs went stupid that day.

Another hour on the phone / hold and best I could get was 25% off. And that was with asking for cancelation date for service. Don’t know if it was because I already got a Covid bill credit or what but I had no luck getting it for free like many on here did. I’m still ahead between the bill credit and discount so I think I’m done wasting my time. I may try and get the NHL for free or something in a few months I have a couple things that I’ve gotten screwed on my them in my back pocket.

So I’m an idiot (duh). Before the change over I tried to get my login credentials straight but couldn’t remember my password. The email account I had associated with this site was an old one I no longer have access to, and couldn’t change that without my password. I think my password got reset while I was messing around with it. I’m probably screwed as far as being able to recoup my “original” user name right? For a while, I had trouble getting a new account created (wasn’t getting the confirmation link emails) but finally got it. Not a huge deal, but if anyone has any ideas I’ll take it! (Sorry, didn’t know where else to put this)
