  1. I give Beane a B+ grade before the last draft and I still hold to that, although he is trending up. My player summary is much different than yours since I do not buy into the common opinions on fan boards. AJE - (2nd round) In a year with no #1 pick, always considered him a developmental project pass rusher, he was a diamond in the rough that has a pretty high ceiling if you can get him there. Bernard - (3rd round) Never ever labeled him a bust without seeing him play. I thought he was a Milano-like pick, same size and similar skill set. It is looking like he could be a star on the team. Benford - (6th round) He beat out Elam and Jackson last year for a starting spot. What is not to love about that from a 6th rounder? Great pick from the get go but it might also say something about our talent at corner as well. Shakir - (5th round) Diggs was a 4th rounder. It takes most receivers a few years to develop and get comfortable. Shakir is becoming a reliable slot guy that can get deep too. In the right scheme he will contribute. Cook - (2nd round) Pleasant surprise this season. I expected more last year and was disappointed, but looking back now the Dorsey offense has not kind to running backs. Kincaid - (1st round) Loved the pick. He is only going to get better. O'Cyrus - (2nd round) Loved the pick. Plug him in and enjoy a solid RG for 10 years. Oliver - (1st round) Has been an up and down player that shows sign of greatness when healthy. Good pick when looking at the board at the time, he is now paying off.
  2. It can never be improved? It is always fair and correct? Just accept it? This kind of thought would have kept us sleeping on the ground in caves. IF your not improving and getting better, then you are getting worse.
  3. I think we can beat the Eagles. Injuries on defense is the big concern right now.
  4. That’s two late flags helping KC. Anything close goes to KC.
  5. Look at the all 22. He threw a great block on a TD play, he also rubbed out a defender on another touchdown. He does block well. It’s part of the game.
  6. Good first game. He did well against a tough defense. It took some pressure off that the Jets Offense is terrible and those early stalled drives did not come back to haunt. I like the way they used the RBs - Cook, Johnson and Murray I liked the use of TE's - Kincaid was excellent and they even targeted Morris I liked going to Shakir - maybe he emerges as the #2 in Brady's offense? Josh looked like he was having fun - look he can run and slide too. One game, good start. Philly will be tougher next week.
  7. Except that he is the HC and responsible for all of it.
  8. Yeah, Maybe the offense wakes for a game because of the situation but I doubt the interim coach is going to make a major difference. Teams know what to do to stop us.
  9. The coaching has been poor in all phases of the game. Last night was an example of it - every phase of the game failed and had questionable game management. Worse, they players seem to be disengaged, especially Allen. No spirit, no fun, no fire. A sure sign that the coaches have lost the players. You McD haters are probably going to get your big day. I expect changes will come. I follow the Sabres very closely, so be forewarned that Pegula is not good at this hiring and firing thing. He lucked out with McD and he got help from the league resources. McD is the guy who got Breane. Since they both report to Terry, who fires the coach? Pegula right? What happens to Beane? I shudder at the thought of Pegula hiring another coach and GM. He should hold on to Beane and let him hire the coach and make the coach report to Beane. But maybe Beane wants out if McD gets the axe?
  10. We are stuck with Knox, but if we happen to change OCs maybe the next guy can install a 12 that works.
  11. We had 10 day to get ready, 3 extra days to prepare. They scored 14 point with no resistance. Coaching? Players? Both
  12. But they took a commanding 21-0 lead. Their defense closed it out. Their coach didn’t make stupid decisions.
  13. The way the Bills prepared for the London was the problem
  14. Are they? I am not seeing it.
  15. Didn’t they do that twice last year and fell behind both times?
  16. It can be done. It requires a great game plan and great execution. They must come out ready and fired up and they must stay that way and play a complete game. They motivation should be there. We are going to learn everything we need to know about this years Bills Team on Sunday.
  17. This game will tell me a lot about McD and his compete level. Win the toss, do not differ again, get the ball and score first.
  18. What could have been a convincing win was a squeaker. Tomorrow the W means everything. Right now I can be disappointed in the second half. McD has a lot to think about in the long week to next game.
  19. It’s not gonna be unstoppable, it might work at times, but we don’t have Reed, Lofton, Beebe, Thurman, and McKeller/Metzellars. Only Diggs is that circle.
