  1. The crazy part is Beane’s group has been better at drafting later than in rounds 1 and 2. They should just trade their 1st and 2nd rounders to acquire more 3rd, 4th, and 5th round draft picks. The returns have largely been more successful 🤣 Given the demands on the TE to block in the offense, LaPorta would be a better option. I think they were still trying to make Dorsey’s 21 personnel a reality and envisioned that Kincaid could be a big Cole Beasley. Now Kincaid isn’t a great fit in the offense and only sees the field sparingly.
  2. The way I see it, there’s already so much in the world that can weigh on our mental health—things we can’t control. But out of all the problems someone could face, where does “my favorite team has never won a championship” really rank? In the grand scheme of things, it’s pretty insignificant. Sure, this loss hurts right now, but in a few weeks, maybe less, it will mean nothing. Unless you play for or work with the Bills, this loss shouldn’t have any real impact on your life.
  3. I don’t like what Beane after the 2022 season. The Bills needed WR help, so he drafted Dalton Kincaid. Kincaid was horrible at blocking so he split time with Knox. The Bills now need multiple WR’s, so Beane signs another slot WR in Samuel and drafts Keon Coleman. None of these moves worked out so now what’s a top priority… WR
  4. He’s a better version of Tremaine Edmunds for his position. The Bills will want to keep him but they have their price. I don’t think they’ll give him the contract he’ll command on the open market
  5. Hurts is pretty bad. I think the Bills would have a shot. KC is going to destroy Philly
  6. So many Bills fans can’t see the forrest through the trees. The reason McDermott won’t get fired is because he WINS. He’s built a respected, winning and successful program in Buffalo that you can prove by just about every metric. Ultimately, he hasn’t been to a Super Bowl and with the exception of 2 teams, no other AFC team has either in the past 7 seasons. People want to pretend Reid and Dungy were just fired in some bold move because they couldn’t win a SB. Dungy lost in the WC round (2000) and missed the playoffs (2001) after making the NFCCG in 1999. He was fired in 2001. Reid stayed with Philly for nearly a decade after losing 4 straight NFCCG’s. He returned in 2008 and then was only fired after 2 seasons of no playoffs. So it would be unprecedented. The closest thing would be Denver firing John Fox after 3 12+ win seasons and a SB appearance. But Manning was on his last legs and they were going to blow up the team after 2015 anyway. Also they had a familiar replacement with HC experience in Gary Kubiak. To your point, McDermott won’t be fired because there isn’t an easy solution. But he’s also been a damn good coach
  7. Fire Sean McDermott. Hire Mike McCarthy. This place 😒
  8. Dungy also took a SB caliber team in Tampa and went 9-7 before getting fired.
  9. The only thing that’s gonna get “humped” is this franchise once you blow everything up like you are suggesting. Sit back and let the pros do their job
  10. Faster? He had like a second. The Bills didn’t slow the blitz at all. Yet Allen found a way to get the ball to tight end and throw a ball he likely should have caught. You can’t put the blame on Josh there. His TE let him down
  11. He did make a crazy throw in the face of blitz this hit his TE right in the hands. That should have been an amazing completion to move the sticks.
  12. This is where I’m at. The overall roster was flawed from a talent standpoint. It’s not like this was a “Super Bowl or Bust” team. The Bills prepared fans for a reset and that was because they knew they wouldn’t be able to upgrade as many needs as they had. I kind of felt that the lack of talent was on display today and it definitely caught up with them
  13. compare Sean’s postseason record to Marty. No contest
  14. They lost 3 games. are you expecting 17-0?
  15. That’s my point…. Everyone loses to Kansas City except three games. It’s not just McDermott.
  16. He didn’t play his best game for sure. Then again, he did score 29 points on one of the better defenses in the NFL. I don’t think he deserves as much blame as you want to give him, but yeah it was not his best performance
  17. I don’t entirely agree but this topic helps adds nuance to the scapegoat conversations that want to pin everything on the HC. Could coaching have been better? Absolutely. But you are correct, players have to step as well. Out of everyone on defense the one person that did was probably Ed Oliver or Jordan Phillips. That’s it. Is some of that on coaching and not putting them in position to be successful? Yes. But there’s also players just getting beat.
  18. everyone falls short to Kansas City. Philadelphia is going to fall short in 2 weeks
  19. you are missing a lot of details. Tampa Bay fired Tony Dungy after an underachieving season that saw his team go 9-7 Philadelphia fired Reid after going 8-8 and 4-12. They didn’t fire either coach after reading the AFCCG
  20. I’m still nervous. Only because I keep thinking of a Bills loss with Mahomes and Kelce laughing and smiling while they run off the field. I so don’t want that happen again. I’m also cognizant how hard it is to get to an have to an AFC Championship. I think NE and KC have made winning a Super Bowl look so much easier than it is in reality. It took Buffalo 26 years to get back to one. Miami hasn’t seen one in 3 decades, the Jets are going on 2. I think after the 2021 loss to KC, we all figured “they’ll be back” but it still took 3 off seasons. So this is just a massive opportunity right now for Buffalo and I so hope they can survive and advance. Either way - it our team.
  21. Ok you’re right. They will lose 66-0
  22. Bishop is better than Johnson was last month. We’ll be ok.
  23. Year 3 is going to be huge for Kincaid. I think it’s fair to say that he’s been inconsistent over his first two seasons. There were a few games last season where they’d feed him the ball to move the sticks. Also a few other times when they’d feed could stretch the field with him working on a LB or safety. This season, he’s had injury issues but the he’s such a bad blocker that it limits his total snaps. Also you’d think Buffalo would be smart to run 12 personnel to take advantage of Knox and Kincaid but it hasn’t really worked well.
  24. The hope was that Kincaid would be the next Kelce. As a route runner, he might have a chance. He has all the physical tools and an understanding of finding spots in zone. The problem is that he’s such a bad blocker they have to split his time with Knox. It does make you wonder if Sam LaPorta would have been a better fit for the offense. The selling point of Kincaid was his potential which we hopefully haven’t see yet.
  25. IMO they seem nervous and threatened. I couldn’t believe the amount of rejoicing when it was announced Taylor Rapp was out. Just win baby
