  1. Many of the ADHD symptoms change as people get older. So things like hyperactivity and impulsiveness aren’t as bad of an issue with adults as they can be in children. His past, does make we wonder whether he truly needed or if he wanted it for recreational use. And if the Reids were cool with him drinking thinking “well at least he won’t overdose.” Then they are enablers and bear some of the responsibility for what happened. Of course, having an addict for a child probably puts you in a terrible position
  2. Remember when Bills fans called for his hiring after Josh melted down against Houston? 🤣🤣🤣
  3. This is my thought as well. On the surface it seems like a weightlifter getting prescribed steroids for “low testosterone” or an ex-athlete with a substance abuse problem getting Vicodin to for their back pain. Not a medical doctor so maybe I’m completely off-base here, but it seems odd to prescribe Aderall to someone who may have had issues with heroine in the past
  4. I get that - but there are so many other ways to treat ADHD, especially with adults. Considering his past I’m not sure why the doctor would prescribe something other than a recreational drug. It’s definitely kind of sketchy
  5. From what I know about addiction, if you’re a recovering drug addict, it isn’t recommended that you drink at all. Addicts with often replace their addiction to drugs with alcohol or prescription meds etc. Most aren’t able to casually drink a beer or two without it turning into something more. So we’re people close to him cool that he was drinking? Or did he hide it? Also if he had a prescription to Aderall as he said - why would his doctor prescribe a drug used for recreational purposes to someone with a past of substance abuse?
  6. Nike Wojton is a hack writer
  7. Good point. I know in the past that when police raided their house the two sons had a crap ton of prescribed medication along with illegal drugs. I assumed that the reason he disclosed Aderall was because he had a script. If he doesn’t, he’s pretty stupid
  8. To be fair, Hill and Hunt were John Dorsey draft picks who was known for taking risks on players with bad backgrounds.
  9. The scary thing is, he’s been arrested and done jail time for drugs and if that wasn’t bad enough he lost his brother to addiction. Yet that’s still not enough to scare him straight. It seems like he has some real issues. Also, the fact that he mixed adderrall with alcohol is probably not coincidence. And what doctor prescribes an adult with substance abuse issue with a drug that can be used recreationally?
  10. How scary - I am so happy to hear your son is doing well now
  11. With all due respect, why does everyone think pending Bills FA are going to take a “hometown discount?” People said this last about Shaq Lawson and Jordan Phillips, and the elected to sign for more money. It’s thought to fault both who had yet to see a big money contract As much as he probably likes playing in Buffalo, I definitely wouldn’t expect him to take a pay cut to stay.
  12. Love McDermott. The dude is one of my favorite coaches of all-time
  13. It’s all Joe B’s speculation. It’s not like he’s citing info from sources. With that being said, he probably right
  14. I think part of that was that he played 1 tech quite a bit at first and like Oliver he’s not really suited for that role.
  15. Tim Anderson....I remember that dude. He was one of those backups they you rooted for. I remember there was a game at home versus New England in December where (of course) the Bills got destroyed. You would have thought Anderson was playing in the Super Bowl. He was sprinting for behind every freaking play even when there was no chance he’d make a tackle. Always thought he was the poor man’s Kyle Williams Haha yes CEH
  16. The ironic thing is, you can argue that in limited work, Zimmer made more impactful plays that Ed Oliver. His near strip on CHS almost turn the game and his strip on Cam Newton DID win the football game. Small sample size, but the kid is a playmaker
  17. This seems like a pretty honest evaluation from someone who admittedly was a Tremaine supporter. I agree that they’ll pick up the option for year 5 but he REALLY needs to show something in 2021. All excuses go out the window By keep, do you mean sign him to a second contract that puts him among the top 5-10 highest paid at his position? Or just keep him for years 4 and maybe 5 of his rookie contract and then decide? At what point does age NOT become an excuse? 23? 24? 34?
  18. Yeah pretty much. There wasn’t another media member others would recognize. Tried to keep it simple but I understand where the confusion comes in
  19. You should know what you have in a development prospect after 3 years. Quarterback is the toughest position in the NFL and we are pretty certain we know what we have in our developmental QB. Time is running out for Edmunds....tick....tick....tick
  20. I don’t think “terrible” is the word but I think that most feel that Edmunds is average to below-average at times. That’s fine but not when you traded multiple draft picks to take him in the first round. And not when you had so many crowing about his athleticism. I don’t think you can say that the jury isn’t out on Edmunds. He has a long way to go I’m not as confident but we’ll see
  21. I’ll disagree about the first two seasons. White seems to have made a much bigger impact, at least in season2, than Edmunds did in any of his first 3 The concern there is that the Bills defense was still gashed with Star and Edmunds in the lineup in 2019. I do think Star will help but I don’t think he suddenly solves all the problems and play at MLB is a big issue. Edmunds needs to get better
  22. He had 1 stop against San Francisco on 4th and goal. It was a really nice goal line stand that he made. Outside of that hit, it’s hard to remember another one
  23. Exactly, Bills fans are with Edmunds where I did not want to be with Josh Allen at the end of year 3, before the season started. The problem with Edmunds is that because of his physical talent and because of the issues at DL, we still don’t know exactly what we have on him at MLB. That means that Brandon Beane is going to take a leap of faith about his option. My guess is that he picks it up, especially because he was a first round pick that the Bills traded up for.
  24. Not sure I few that strongly. The potential is there but I didn’t see it this season
  25. Over the past few days, Bills Twitter has been split over Tremaine Edmunds. The Case for Edmunds: WGR’s Nate Geary and Cover 1’s Erik Turner Both have defended Edmunds and believes that he isn’t the problem. They have also said THE excuse - he’s 22! Also feels he’s a scapegoat and suffering from having a poor DL. To be fair the stuff about the DL is a good argument but I’m not sure that’s the entire issue. The case against Edmunds: Majority of Bills Twitter They will point to weakness Edmunds has shown in run support, how easily he can get fooled and lost in space, and the lack of overall impact plays. Maybe this group doesn’t know the X and O’s but they see a player who appears to have struggled on the field quite a bit. My take I normally agree with Nate and Erik but as of February 2021, I’m skeptical that Edmunds will ever live up to his potential in the defense. I don’t think he got much better and while the issue of the DL and injuries are valid, I just don’t think he’s shown that he’s a special player. I’m really hoping we see a different player because after next year there are no more excuses. No more....”but he’s only 22.” Because after 4 years the excuses need to stop. Many here were not high on Josh last offseason and look what happened. So you never know....but we need to see more. PRO EDMUNDS Against Edmunds:
