Before a season starts, how do you know who is a contender or not? Did anyone have Washington in Conference Finals before the season started and San Fran missing the playoffs?

I would never extend Cook to what he wants. I'm a huge fan and said in the past he is a must re-sign, but not at 15 million. I would let the Benford situation play out. He needs to prove he can stay healthy. Two years in a row he was unavailable in playoffs. He has also missed games during the regular season in his first two years. You can also just franchise tag him and work out a deal next year. I dont get the rush to sign a guy who was so concussed.

The is the number one option for the Bills. Over any DE out there even through trade. This is the guy that is so desperately needed on this team and wouldnt cost any assets.

When did players lose the power they had over the last 5 or so years? When players say they want to get traded, they do.

I understand that. My post was about the aviation industry. Its in a really bad spot. I'm not going to rehash what I wrote in the original post, but things are not being held up to standards they should be.

I'm going off what happened in the Buffalo crash where it was exposed how little experience these regional airline pilots have. Also going off all the issues with Boeing. There are major problems in the aviation industry that are not widely reported. Just going on what you personally know doesn't take into account the entry industry.

Capitalism is finally catching up to the aviation industry. All these companies associated with aviation have been printing cash for years now. There are way too many flights now days all to maximize the bottom line. There is too much pressure to fly in inclement weather, too many pilots that are being rushed through trainings in order to not have a severe pilot shortage based on how many flights are being flown now, inspections are being overlooked, and overall, this has been years in the making. It's really not a surprise. The industry needs an entire overhaul. They may sound rude or cruel but flying needs to go back to being a privilege. The number of flights in a day need to be cut in half. Train inspectors on new standards, inspect every plane, pull out the old planes, increase the pilot standards/flight hours, need to revisit when planes should be grounded, etc. The speed at which aviation has grown has been a cause for concern for old time aviation experts for over a decade now, and it has all been tied to a bottom like. The industry went from a luxury industry to a low-cost leader. Push as many flights as possible out, at the cheapest cost. Scary when you're dealing with life and death.

Pretty spot on. I have been disappointed that there has been no change in the front office. Going into this draft with the same group that drafted Elam, Kincaid, Coleman and Bishop in the first two rounds is just throwing away another draft.

When was he is the assistant GM? I watch those videos of the drafts, and he does a lot of work with scouting draft prospects. We are awful at drafting. If he doesnt get hired somewhere, I would look at moving on.

Because TV Ratings are lies. Seriously, major companies pay off Nielsen to be able to charge more for Ad revenue. You will never see the NFL lose viewership in a SB. They pay too much to have that headline.

Anyone notice how the Bills no longer list their Front Office on their website? I feel like there has been some front office loses since Beane has been here that has hurt. I think losing Joe Schoen was a big loss. We also lost Dan Morgan, but I dont think he did much for the draft. I also think the Bills should look at replacing Terrence Gray. Our recent drafts have not been good.

The old school Big East basketball was better than any of conference.

I said it many years ago, but Syracuse moving to the ACC was terrible for their basketball program. It was the beginning of the end to the program. First couple years they had the residuals of still recruiting as a Big East player, but now that it's been this many years, you are seeing the impact. ACC is a different type of game than the Big East and the type of player you need to succeed in the ACC are not the type of players Syracuse is getting.

2 years in a row Bills had the opportunity to go down and score to take the lead, and Spags came up with a plan to prevent that.

Its a very good point. Spags is the difference always when we play KC. Philly brought in Fangio this year and it made a huge difference. Brady is decent IMO, not this greatest thing that he is being portrayed right now. I do wonder how an experienced OC like Doug Pederson would do.

Finally a good question from a reporter, and a terrible answer from Beane. Prior to Keon getting hurt, he dropped a ball at the 5 yard that caused an INT vs Miami. He can cut that crap about this pre and post injury crap.

Why didn't Kincaid come back this year stronger? Did he even work out in offseason?
