  1. Saying nothing would have come up off better. It was bad
  2. You're leaving out the best parts. They almost had 3, 100 yard receivers and they had a 100 yard rusher! It was a methodical beat down. It was surgical. Oh my sweet bastard of Christ!
  3. Excuse me while I lose my mind here... He !@#$ing gave credit to the Jets again for being such a great team. And not in the PR kind of way. In the "what could we do, they were better" kind of way. Be !@#$ing better you ass clown!!! He sounded like a defeated !@#$. Oh yeah, he said he didn't know why Sammy wasn't playing the last few series. I'm sorry, aren't you the !@#$ing head coach? Why don't you know?! Yeah, I wanted him fired before. Now, I want him exiled
  4. There is a really good chance we start this season 0-4. Even if the team figures things out, gets healthy and people back from suspensions, the playoffs are out the window after that. Clawing back to 8-8 would mean nothing. I really didn't think the team would take such a step back after one year. I really believed the offense would only get better. I believed the D wouldn't be that bad without Dareus. But here's the facts as I see them: Stubborness Roman refuses to understand that his offense is about 10 years too late. It can work in the right situation, but it got him out of SanFran, and it's not working here. He was surprised he didn't get a HC job interview? Really?! Rex finally got his 4-6 defense. Blitzes to a fault. Gets picked apart for almost 400 yards by Fitz. FITZ! And a 100 yard rusher btw. Now, were we good against the Ravens or were the Ravens not that great? I think we are going to find out the sad truth these next two weeks. Rex also hired his trainwreck of a brother for what, to prove a point? Point made sir, he's terrible and it's going to cost you your job. TT Something is very wrong here. I don't know how he has regressed so much through 2 games. He wasn't a world beater last year, but he could make all the throws. He may not have made them to the middle of the field, but he hit the ones he made. This is really bothering me and I just don't understand it. Watkins/Woods/Clay I feel terrible for these guys. I believe in their talent and are being under-utilized by Roman and TT can't hit them. It's hard to watch. We are the worst franchise in Sports This is a tough pill to swallow. We look like a real team. We show moments of a real franchise. We see the futility of other teams like the Browns, Sabres, Rays and yet they've all found a way to make the playoffs in the past 15 years. Yes, it's hard to win in the NFL, but every other team in all of sports has done it at least one in the past 15 years. It's us. I don't know why it's us. I don't know what we do that's so terrible. I don't know what the FANS have done to deserve this. But we are just a cursed franchise. Overall I can't remember the last time I knew the season was over after only 2 games. This is a terrible feeling and I'm sure I'm over-reacting a lot. With the Cards and the Pats coming up, I see no possible future for us. I see no reason to believe that Rex will figure this out, as he hasn't in over 5 years. I've never seen anything from Roman to believe he can get it done. I do believe we have the talent. I really do. And I KNOW this fanbase deserves better. I'm just !@#$ing done right now. It's late, I'm tired. I'm pissed and emotional that my favorite team of my favorite sport is over only 5 days into the season.
  5. Thanks for getting this started for us. Come to find out, the Ravens weren't that great on offense afterall.
  6. Fitz can make quick throws. He doesn't need to be blitzed all day. Let him make the mistake. We got pressure with just 3. Stop leaving these guys in single coverage. We are losing those battles consistently
  7. What exactly do you do for a living boss? Just curious honestly. You always have this stuff and I love the gif breakdowns
  8. Will do. Thank you for showing me the error of my ways. Thank you so much for being a fan and reading all my posts. Bless you 😀
  9. He was a healthy scratch on Sunday. What happened to this guy? https://twitter.com/fieldyates/status/775806964077064192
  10. I am a believer that we are closer than we've been in a long time. The more time that passes, the more I think Monday was a fluke. I'm not saying 15-1, but I'm hoping for a much better showing Thursday
  11. To the contrary, I want to see them beat the strategy of te jets. Saying they have two safeties deep shouldn't cripple you. If they do it, show me where we dink and dunk them the whole game and have long drives. If they adjust and pull up, then beat them deep. Show me we aren't a team that needs home runs
  12. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they filled the last spot on their practice squad today with some other dude. So I think Baby Gronk is done for us.
  13. 24 hours later and the anger has left me and I'm left with disappointment. But the good news about a short week is that we can't dwell on the past and we still have 15 games to go. I was going to go to the game in person, but it's an 8 hour drive for me and I'm too nervous for another letdown. That drive back would just be too damn hard. With that, here's what I'm looking for in week 2, broken down by segments: Rex Ryan: Less Penalties Team psyched up and ready to go (Team never looked comfortable or prepped the entire Ravens game to me) I want to see some fire from him if the offense isn't getting things done (not getting plays called in time, making adjustments at half) Holding the Jets to 15 points would be nice Duke Williams shouldn't be covering ANYbody. He can help over the top, that's it. Figure out how to get some pressure up the middle without Dareus.I don't know if Kyle got double teamed last week, but it was alarming how little pressure we generated up the gut. Roman: I want to see the team up to the line with at least 15 seconds left on the play clock Clay with at least 5 touches. Working the seam Woods and Watkins working some slants with deep routes mixed in (Jets play press and with one safety deep) Half time adjustments if a close game (if blowing them out, keep on doing it :-)) Spread out the field and get some quick passes called to start the game. Get TT in a rhythm. Get Clay, Woods, and Watkins going early. Even if it's 3-4 yard plays. Just build some confidence and momentum. Runningbacks McCoy needs some screens and cutback routes. Get the man in some spaceRun him until he pukes. I don't want Bush out there on 2nd down. Bush - he runs backwards again, put his ass on the bench Tyrod: Some fire/passion (I respect his demeanor and not getting distracted, but he needs to lead this team and if they are in a funk, snap them out of it) Find the middle of the field (like he didn't do all of last year either) Get the plays called and to the line quickly (if not, let me see him do something about it)Audibles as he sees them Overall Give me a reason to believe last week was a bad week. The defense did good. The offense was pure crap. Tyrod did enough last season to give him the benefit of the doubt for me. But they backed themselves into a corner by losing to the Ravens. If you are going to be a playoff team, you have to beat the teams that are beatable on the road. The Ravens was that team. So now, you HAVE to win your home games against division opponents. It doesn't get easier after the Jets with the Cardinals coming to town and the Patriots are proving to be no joke without Brady. If we start 0-4, which isn't unthinkable, it's going to be a really brutal season and continuity goes out the window.
  14. I'm not saying that Dareus being gone cost us the game. I'm saying that the lack of push up the middle was noticeable.
  15. It's like QB's. If they were that easy to find, everyone would have one. I'd be willing to trade picks for a head coach, but doubt we would get any takers. I sincerely doubt we would even listen, but I would write a blank check to Harbaugh in Michigan
  16. I have to disagree. Watching the receivers most of the game, they were usually within 10 yards of each other. The routes called just weren't great and were timing throws. I didn't feel like Sammy was being held back in what he was doing. Not unless Sammy said "don't send me deep" I said this in another post. The WR were just bunched together and eliminating half the field. Not good routes
  17. what you saw on tv is what you got. That's why I'm on the coaches for the play calling and lack of adjustments.
  18. I'm still waiting to see what this health Robert Woods is supposed to be able to do.
  19. You never want to see a team tank. And having an overall top 10 pick so many years in a row should be more than enough for a good organization. The Browns show you the other side where they still can't figure it out with worse records
  20. All I heard was "Kelly" "buffalo" and "tank". Sign me up!
