  1. well Cam was MVP and got to the super bowl...we dont know for sure, but this could very well have been Dorsey's request to begin with, or more likely if the HC says you need to hire an experienced "consultant" he got to pick his guy...
  2. as much as I luv Harry, he priced himself out of our range, esp year 1, he did have some injury issues and was light for 1 tech DT. Jones is 30 pounds heftier and In 2021, Jones had 23 pressures and a career high 69.4 pass rush grade...run-plugger with better interior pass rush skills than what we had and should compliment Ed Oliver to play freerer-quicker...
  3. Carolina connection rings again, bounced around a lot like Daboll, got the most out of Cam and some change is good for the qb room esp for the guys behind Josh.
  4. I live in DC area , I subscribe to the Wash Post, read the sports everyday,I know every lineman on the team..except one...now I glady accept that one, its a talented D-line here, all first rounders start and the backups are good, Settle had a down year in comparison to year before, I just hope he replaces Butler and not Harry, and yes I am am hairy about Harry.
  5. scroll down to the penalties secton, one thing I like is a lots of snaps, not many fouls, 6-5 325 pounder, former tackle https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SaffRo20.htm update: per team its a one-year deal amt is TBD update: per Joe B quote - Athletic - Saffold says plan right now is to play left guard - which is where Bates played well down the stretch...
  6. Ghost is a little late in coverage over the middle, I guess he took lessons at the Leslie Frazier Dog Obedience School
  7. decreasing productivity at the increased age of 30+ is a red flag, coupled with 2 years of 10M cap hit AND have to trade draft capital is a big no way...l ess money to re-sign Phillips (hopefully)and the big DT money goes to the younger roster resident, one Ed Oilver
  8. the Pegulas have a lifestyle to maintain, I guess inflation is costing the billionaires more this year
  9. ugh I didnt realize our punting was that bad - worst in league - worst than Percy Harvin ? Still think a 7th rounder is worth a P pick
  10. overall - Ralph Wilson and his bad management and style - old school, stubborn, egotistical; fired a hall-of-fame GM in his prime and overwhelming majority of his hires were terrible, it took 50 years for him to be inducted in the hall, mostly because it made the NFL look bad not to, not because he deserved it.
  11. sorry guys, keep the day jobs, and leave the heavy lift to Beano cuz: 1. declining stats - https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles-chargers/khalil-mack-14414/stats-valuation/ - missed majority of last seaso 2. wrong side of 30 - he is 31+ 3. 3 years of increasing cap that we really cannot afford - https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles-chargers/khalil-mack-14414/ so whose right the Bears or Bolts, we hall see, and I say Bears
  12. and killed the Bills in the wildcard gme in Houston with that thrid and long reception that Milano was late getting to over the middle...hmm..the middle...coverage..issue...plus Jones was hurt a lot last season, his 2M+ is going to be used elsewhere
  13. adios amigo..buena suerte...next stop NYC and G-men ? maybe Daboll and the ex-Bills can light a fire under him
  14. that was his best game as a Bill, he had impact but since then not much, so 6.6M over minus 5.1 plus 400k in dead money leaves us 1.9M over which equals pay cut money for a vet we would like to keep, more to come and its going to be a very interesting week to ten days coming up, which gets us closer to the draft
  15. likely a lot more than 10M per season which is what Andy Freaking Dalton got from the Bears last season; once the trades happen or more than likely don't (Wilson, Watson, Rogers, or a cut - Wentz, Darnold ?) other teams thinking win now and all we need is a qb to get to the next level - Steelers, Commies, Broncos, Saints - are likely landing spots
  16. well I for one will be on the lookout for a certain, distinguished SJF alum whose talents include former Bills GM, current XFL League Presidente, yet another roadkill at PSE, and played himself in the movie Draft Day: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft_Day
  17. says he is dropping weight into the 330s and going to sack master mentoring as his pocket pressures are not all that impressive at UGA, so he may be a 2-down-run-plugger who comes out in passing situations which is less than ideal for a first-rounder... and yes Bills d-line rotation could mitigate this..but I could live with passing on him in favor of a WR or CB and getting a DT in round 2, maybe a better overall athlete from UConn....https://www.si.com/nfl/draft/scouting-reports/travisjones
  18. does this open the door to #19 staying possibly - had best game of career in the slot against Pats and our YAC needs to improve and that was on Beasley more or less as well
  19. on with the show.... https://www.totalprosports.com/2019/11/07/older-male-fan-caught-recording-extreme-close-up-of-an-auburn-cheerleader-dancing-video/
  20. ok maybe more of a hometown discount than min salary...1, existing cap it tight 2. Knox deserves to start 3. Bills arent and cannot pay a TE to split duties
  21. pass...but hoping Gronk would come home for a SB run for a 1 year min deal,
  22. love the fitz and all that goes with him and his legacy and mutual admiration of our fair city, but at age 40, coming back from hip surgery to heave TDs and picks galore as a throwback immobile pocket of yesteryear isnt going to happen, so lets leave it at that and expect him to retire as a beloved Bill now who we gonna get...Barkley, Andy Dalton, Jake Fromm. Mariota, Winston ???? god help us
  23. is .500 in three seasons and 0-1 in the playoffs and wants to be shown the money...now ! somehow agent left-out a 1-0 record agains the Bills which may be his biggest accomplishment ?
