Can We End This Nonsense About Homefield Advantage Now?
BillMafia716ix replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall
Playoff football throw all that home field advantage mess out the window. Is it preferred? Yes. The elite QB’s aren’t fazed by it. -
What realistic coaching changes do you expect?
BillMafia716ix replied to BigBadBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thats not coaching. Players have to win their matchups. They were playing well up until that point. -

Don’t see too many changes to be honest maybe a few position coaches. But I think all coordinators will remain the same. I don’t see any reason why McDermott would give up his DC position considering all the injuries. We were 6-6, left for dead and McDermott made chicken salad out of chicken shyt. -
Somebody will pay him. I really thought Gabe was going to show out this year. I think the coaching staff did as well. Unfortunately we were both wrong. Good luck to him

Simply put we were just too hurt…
BillMafia716ix replied to BillMafia716ix's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thats what makes it frustrating. They still had a chance to win. But with a healthy defense do the chiefs dominate on offense the way they did? All they did was expose our weakness. They averaged 8 yards a play and only had 5 3rd downs. -
At the end of the day our Bills were a team playing on borrowed time. The fan in me wanted to see us overcome it and pull it off but at the end of the day the Bills just had too many key guys hurt at the wrong time. It was fine when we played Mason Rudolph but expecting us to beat Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid with 3rd and 4th stringers was a pipe dream. McDermott worked his magic to get us in the playoffs with our duct tape defense but our time just ran out. Two years in a row we’ve been plagued by the injury bug. Just once I want to see this team fully healthy in the postseason and unfortunately for us it didn’t happen Again!

Von Miller Earned $3m a Tackle (Approx)
BillMafia716ix replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Von will be back for sure. Coming back off the ACL. He showed flashes of the old Von the last two games. The two playoff games were his best games. Full offseason with no rehab. I think he comes back stronger next season. But what they really need is Greg Rousseau to elevate his game. He’s suppose to be the main guy right now to hold down the edge and he hasn’t been that guy they drafted him to be. Defensive end is a major need this offseason next to WR. -
I feel optimistic moving forward
BillMafia716ix replied to HaldimandBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
The WR room needs a major fix. The defense is getting older. Milano and Tre White can’t stay healthy. I think we are headed for a light rebuild -
We were playing on borrowed time. I knew the injury bug would come back to bite us eventually . The fan in me was expecting us to overcome it but the realist in me is not surprised we lost. How the hell are we going to beat Andy Reid and Mahomes with 3rd and 4th string players on defense? Pipe dream.

Don’t really see too many changes to be honest. Offense: Josh Allen-stays Cook- stays Kincaid, Knox - stays Dawkins - stays McGovern - stays Morse - ? Torrence - Stays Spencer Brown- stays Diggs- stays (his contract won’t allow him to be cut or moved) Shakir- stays There wil be changes in the WR room for sure. Need to find a dynamic player to play next to Diggs. More than likely that’s coming through the draft. Defense: Oliver-stays Daquon Jones- ?? Greg Rousseau- stays Von Miller - stays (contract won’t allow him to be moved) Floyd, AJ Epenesa ( Floyd is going to be expensive and he’s an older player I’d let him walk and try to work a deal with AJ.) One of them is definitely leaving for sure. Bernard- stays Milano- stays Dodson/Spector - stays Rasual Douglas -stays Benfrod- stays Taron Johnson - stays Tre White -??? Tough decision here. I’d let him walk but I don’t think McDermott will cut ties with him. More than likely I think they’ll restructure his contract and see how he is coming off the injury. Poyer/Hyde - I think one of them is gone for sure. Hyde probably being the odd man out. Poyer still a productive player As far as the defense goes I don’t really see many changes there either. They have a major need at defensive end and safety. I think they only significant changes will see is at safety. This offseason will be more about adding depth and praying to the heavens that our core guys can stay healthy!!

I like Joe Brady. I Think he should keep the job. I like our balance attack approach but I think if he going to continue with that approach and wants to take the offense to next level bring in Derrick Henry. Make him and Cook our 1-2 punch out the backfield and add another WR. I think it would take our offense to another level.

I’m tired of 14 not showing up when it counts in the playoffs. Whose fault is it going to be this year? He showed up Josh on the sideline last playoffs. Doesn’t show up to camp. Had his brother tweeting saying get him out of here and now this playoff game he puts up a shyt performance. I was a huge fan of Diggs but he losing me.

A Rookie LB vs. Mahomes?? He would got eaten alive. Dorian Williams is still a year or two away

I think it’s becoming clear that the coaching staff is out on Elam. They have no confidence in him

Divisional Playoffs - Chiefs at Bills - Post game thread
BillMafia716ix replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
At the end of day..the Bills just had too many injuries to overcome. Going against one of best QB/coach of all time you need all hands on deck. We were down to our 3rd 4th and 5th string LB’s. And 3rd string Corner. We’ve been hit by the injury bug last two years!! Smh -
There was nothing Sean McDermott could have done defensively to stop the Chiefs. We were down to our 3rd, 4th and 5th string LB. Rasul Douglass wasn’t himself. They were just too banged up at too many key positions and Mahomes/Reid took advantage of it. That game had to be won upfront. The defensive line was our best unit all season and they were a total no show
-
They had the wrong guy running the ball on the fake punt. I wasn’t expecting it and the Chiefs weren’t either. The play was just ran poorly. That point in the game McDermott had zero faith in the defense to get a stop.

Where does this regime go from here?
BillMafia716ix replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Man just once I want to see our defense healthy with all are top guys playing in the playoffs. Past two years we’ve been killed by the injury bug. We were playing our 3rd 4th and 5th string LB’s against Mahomes. -
Agreed man. I’m a huge Diggs fan and I’m completely disappointed in how he finished this season. I don’t want to hear crap about double teams. WR1 studs still find ways to get open and make an impact. All that moaning and groaning he did last offseason just for him to come out again and be a non factor in yet another playoff game is something I can’t rock with.
-
What more could have McDermott done this game? We were down to our 3rd and 4th string LBs, had injuries all in the secondary playing a legendary QB and coach who took advantage of our weakness. I can't blame McDermott for this one. If anything I’m more upset at the defensive line. They were our best unit all season and they completely no showed today. Nobody upfront made an impact to make it tough on Mahomes.
-
I’m definitely upset but I knew going into the game that playing Mahomes with all the injuries on defense was going to be tough are only hope was hopefully getting pressure on him and forcing him into mistakes and it didn’t happen. The defensive line was our strongest unit all season and they were a no show and it cost us.

How about the D-line? 1 sack in two playoff games
BillMafia716ix replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah well they gotta keep drafting them til they get it right. One of most important positions in football.
