exactly --- we do what we do, they do what they do ... not exactly proof that Barkley is great and Daboll's a genius sure, straight up, I'd take Barkley -- but you're trying to say Barkley/Daboll and the Giant's O is something we should want. Seriously?

Those of us who have moved away but remain fans of the team and WNY are looking for ways to help! This would be one. What other ways are there for out-of-towners to help?

Can't disagree with the quality of candidates point! but, as long as we're nitpicking - the Cooper Krupp example isn't just an extreme, it's a straw man - white WRs aren't minorities in their position because of their skin color. The whole problem is that black candidates face systemic hurdles from the time they are children that put at risk their ability to compete fairly using their non-skin color attributes.

What do you think the Giants will get for Bradberry? I'm sure the cap wizards can make his $$$ work if they want (and rumors have NY willing to pick up some salary), but the G-Men will need to get something in return

LOST - I agree that equity isn't the same as equality, so no flame, just questions ... What if the real numbers are able to show that minorities aren't being hired fairly? How do you get from "one offensive coach" to 40-50% of a coaching staff? I'd disagree with your suggested representative percentage of job-seekers should equal hires -- that seems like just an unfairly forced arbitrary number which has little to do with quality of applicants. The 9 Isles - I appreciate your optimism that NFL owners and their partners are socially conscious investors ...

I read Andy Borowitz and he was asking Browns fans to ditch the team (he's a longtime fan) and donate to their rape crisis center, so I did. Then it dawned on me that we should be helping Buflo as much as Cleveland so I did that, too. Not intending to humblebrag, just maybe that's where some of this is coming from - and maybe motivate one or two others to donate, as well.

Love all these ideas! Buffalo's (proud to be) a blue collar town. Consider making the event scalable, where regular folks can get a small piece of the action and those able to pay (give to a good cause?) can have better access to more activities/players.

Thanks for sharing! I'm always interested in things like these ideas!! That being said, didn't really care much for any of them. I think a throw back to the reds would be a cool option - or the red with the standing white buffalo - and of course the traditional standing buffalo. Other than that, our helmets, unis and colors are near the top of the league. We don't need to try so hard to meddle with 'em.
