  1. Wave 1 is Oliver/Jones. Walker is part of the group you're calling weak.
  2. We see it every week. But yeah, you're not being a dick at all 🙄
  3. I don't care for Babich and think he's in over his head, but that patchwork mess that was out there tonight is not something that should serve as a final judgement. When you have Andreesen, Poyer, Cam Lewis and Javon Solomon all out there on the field at the same time, it's hard to point at the DC and say "there's your problem".
  4. This is not just about this year
  5. I know what a contain rush looks like and that is what McDermott has been typically asking of Rousseau for a significant portion of his career.
  6. I'm fine with Rousseau; he's a perfect fit for what McDermott wants out of his Ends and when he's allowed more freedom (ala the last two weeks) he becomes much more impactful. Bernard was valuable in my mind mostly because he is (or was) a turnover magnet. But he's lost a step over the last year and is now often late for plays that he used to be on time for.
  7. He's loosened Groot up a little bit the last two weeks and it's clearly made him a more impactful player. But that has not been the norm at all since he's been here.
  8. He did make about two plays, which is two above his average.
  9. Work harder. Play smarter.
  10. There were a lot more than two highly rated and available players when we picked. And cherry picking the ones you can find that are playing well right now is 100% the pointless hindsight game.
  11. He's been the only LB worth two nickels on this team the entire year. None of Bernard, Milano or certainly Williams would likely not have even gotten a hand on that ball. There's only one way. Work harder.
  12. No, McDermott is comparable to McDermott. He wants his defense how he wants his defense, and his Ends are going to play run first and contain rush second.
  13. Hairston got hurt; you have no idea if he was the wrong pick yet. Bunkum. I'm stepping out of this utterly pointless thread
  14. Maybe vent in an existing thread instead of compelling people to click on a new redundant one that adds little value?
  15. I love hindsight threads; they're the best.
  16. He was out there with the D for a few plays also.
  17. He'd have teh same anchor chain on Garret that he has on Rousseau. He wants his defense to contain everything and keep the play in front of him. He has absolutely minimized certain players by not cutting them loose.
  18. It's not. But Cooke is definitely frustrated with his usage, and should be.
  19. See you next year for a few weeks.
  20. Season's over in Week 6. Go cut the grass.
  21. He benches him every week.
  22. He was a terror out there tonight.
  23. What are you still doing here? The season is over.
  24. They're good enough to play with anybody when they have all hands on deck. But when you're looking on the field seeing Joe Andreessen, Cam Lewis and Jordan Poyer all out there at the same time, that's just too many depth guys out there to survive with. They are really good on both sides of the LoS so there's hope, but they need Palmer and Kincaid on offense and about 3-4 guys to get back on the field on D.
  25. They're not terrible if they're healthy but if Palmer and Samuel are going to miss time they will need to make a move. Even when they come back I wouldn't be shocked to see them toss a draft pick to bring in a more reliable pass-catching threat, like Cooper.
