  1. I wasn't joking at all. This kid has a legit shot to be a quality starter as much if not more than Cine did. I think McBeane just goosed Cole Bishop for real.
  2. Indeed, I had some real hopes for that pick-up. I kind of get the same vibe from this signing. Hopefully he won't leave mid-season to go somewhere else to win a SB.
  3. It was me and I'm not sorry.
  4. In that case, everybody has an injury history. The guy played 50 games in college and his only real injury was the cracked shoulder two years ago. Tweaking a hammy in camp then coming back to play 12 straight games isn't really enough to label him with an "injury history".
  5. Wait, are you giving up already? Give that young man some time!
  6. Looks like Lewis Cine is back.
  7. They're deciding whether to call the cops.
  8. Doh! I was just looking for palm trees shaped like a "W". I didn't even know it was a movie
  9. It's certainly not his strength. He is at least willing, if a bit undersized. If somebody can coach up his wrap and roll technique he would be just fine. This was the first thing that popped into my head also.
  10. Any quicks he may have once had are just gone. I'm doubtful he can play any of the corner positions in this league any more.
  11. His game took a fairly impressive leap forward this year. He's a weak spot as a starter but I'm very happy the Bills kept him around as quality depth.
  12. He's one of my favorite players of all time in any uniform. Watching him run stride for stride 30 yrds downfield at 280 with the likes of Shannon Sharpe while his head was turned and tracking the ball was surreal.
  13. Kirkland played around 280 and Ogunjobi is a sandwich over 300, so only about 20 lbs difference. Levon was one of the great freakshows in NFL history, imo.
  14. Yeah, that was the one thing that sort of wrinkled an eyebrow here. I'm guessing he was scheduled to make less money than that when he was released for cap reasons.
  15. Wearing that #99, he looks exactly what Levon Kirkland would have looked like if they'd dropped him down to DT.
  16. He's definitely a process sort of guy. I think he was the Steelers nominee for the Walter Payton award last year.
  17. If they don't get the tactics right, the strategy becomes irrelevant.
  18. Stunts and twists expose running lanes and I doubt McDermott is ever going to be willing to do that any more often than he already does. That's why I said "hope"
  19. The best way we can help the pass rush is probably to add a legitimate starting CB and hope McDermott has seen the light and will get these guys up on the LOS to prevent free releases and limit people's ability to get the ball out in 2 seconds. Adding Asante Samuel will be a quality step toward that goal.
  20. Wife and I both got sent home from work and decided, frag it, let's head South for some sunshine. Loaded up tents, kayaks, etc and went to do a week or two down in the mountains of GA, AL and then the FL panhandle. I remember having to go to an Alabama Walmart for some supplies one afternoon. I walked in the front door and for about 10 seconds literally could not see a single other human being; no greeters, no cashiers, no shoppers, literally not one soul. Can you imagine walking into a Walmart and finding it empty? It was zombie apocalypse level creepy and I almost skipped the lunchmeat and instead went to sporting goods to grab a shottie. We eventually ended up around Navarre and had the entirety of Gulf Islands Seashore nearly all to ourselves. About 4 days in they set up roadblocks and started tossing anybody that didn't live there. We managed to stick around a couple more days and then headed back; I remember on the way home my wife asking about what we would do if we couldn't get back into Pennsylvania.
  21. That would be a very good get. Better than anything they've done so far, imo.
  22. who was a leader, the most physical player in the WR room and who repeatedly made a bunch of clutch plays when the Bills offense was struggling and needed bailed out. If Coleman doesn't step up in his sophomore season, the Bills are going to miss Mack Hollins' contributions.
  23. I'd guess that the Bills letting him walk wasn't as much about money as it was them clearing the way for Coleman to take more snaps in that role.
  24. ***** there was a walking away barefoot joke in there that I missed
