  1. I didn't see his reaction, but I'm guessing he was either in shock or they jacked a needle into him under cover.
  2. I think we will in two weeks when Hoecht comes back
  3. I think that hip dislocation/fracture he suffered at Alabama is something that will affect his game for the rest of his life
  4. This dude is a purveyor of human misery and I have zero sympathy for anything that happens to him on a football field. Maybe I'm a jerk (zip it you bastards) but his karma is long overdue.
  5. I don't think so; it's been an issue (or issues) with him for two years and hasn't gotten any better to my eyes. The point about not pushing Thompson this early in the season is a good one. The limited work he's getting on some first and third downs right now might be the staff's effort to work him in slowly to make sure he's both ready and healthy for Dec/Jan.
  6. Every bit of this is 100% true and I cannot even remember I saw these guys so unprepared and out of synch. McD has got to be seeing the same thing and I have ot wonder how long he can tolerate it before he makes a move. I've definitely noticed a tendency for them to break down too early. That leads to guys lunging and when you do that you have no base and no power to work with. I'm guessing the union would have a fit if McD circled them up, put a bunch of Gazoo helmets on them and spent an hour every day having them run the tackling version of Oklahomas.
  7. His leg/foot was turned sideways about 90 degrees That looked like the kind of thing that affects careers as much as seasons.
  8. They've looked out of sorts since they stepped on the field to start Week 1. I'm beginning to suspect that Babich was hired more for his personality than his ability. His lack of attention to detail makes me want to take a turn as a fire everybody sort of guy.
  9. I'd guess that the only chance of those things happening would be for them to be preceded by the venting of most of their front office into the vacuum of space.
  10. Van Demark is the only one I would take issue with. He was mauling people to the whistle in the run game but he was so bad in pass pro I can't believe he'd be graded that high. Epenesa seems a little bit high, but that was certainly his best game of the year so far.
  11. He's got no chance this year and possibly next as well in that gawdawful organization with that awful roster. My guess that he'll be a good coach eventually is based entirely on the kind of guy he is. I said it would be over the next couple years and that it would only possibly be in NY and I stand by that.
  12. If they're slow-rolling the switch to keep Thompson fresh and healthy for the stretch run, I guess I probably wouldn't complain about that strategy. Well, I would but probably shouldn't.
  13. From my couch the problems would appear to be, in order: LB (particularly the stunningly lost DWilliams), inconsistent rookie DT's and then safety (especially Rapp, who has been gawdawful while Bishops is getting somewhat better).
  14. Shaq Thompson has been working in on some 1st and 3rd downs but imo should be taking all of Williams' snaps, including when they run 4-3 sets after Milano's return.
  15. Wasn't that a different play where they actually did get called for a 12th man?
  16. C'mon, he's not that old
  17. How many SB party snack tables will now have Hasenpfeffer?
  18. Apparently Marlon Humphries is also now gone for a couple weeks with the calf issue. They should probably just go ahead and write off the season, trade us Kyle Hamilton and start reloading.
  19. He's doing exactly what he's being coached to do and doing it very, very well. If you can't see what he's doing that's not a Rousseau problem, that's a you problem. The Bills have never had high sack numbers from their DE's under McDermott, and they likely never will. It isn't because they don't have good players at DE. It isn't because Beane doesn't know what he's doing when to comes to acquiring DL. It's because McDermott wants his guys up front playing responsibly and not losing edges and overrunning QB's and abandoning gap responsibilities. That's just who he is. If you need to break out the bltching stick, you're wasting your time using it on Rousseau or Beane.
