    Maybe. But that field traditionally becomes a complete mess right around this time of year; maybe the hardest field in the entire league to kick from. They tried to resod it "again" after the Pitt game yesterday but I don't know how things went for the crew.

    If you know where and when the ball is coming in, you can get an arm in there and either deflect it or start ripping at a guys arms while he's trying to secure it.

    A DB looking at the WR is less likely to run into him than a DB looking away from the WR, imo. It's easier to adjust to somebody else's adjustment when you can see them.

    They did call one up on a 1st/20 after a holding call, but didn't get much out of it.

    Yeah, that's why it really sort of stuck out to me. They must have had a great battle going all day and he really respected the guy. Or maybe they're related

    Not really related to anything but Spencer Brown accidentally hurt Derrick Brown on an assignment later in the game and immediately went over to check on him to see if he was OK. I thought that was very nice of him.

    I wouldn't be surprised if this is the beginning of Tre taking over Cam Lewis' dimeback role as Hairston works into the starting role.

    He was dressed but they said he was only available in case of emergency.

    I mumbled virtually the same exact thing to myself at one point today. He's overthinking it instead of just attacking it.

    You can probably throw Zion Logue into that mix somewhere, but I don't know enough about intraroster transactions to know how they'll do it.

    You're not the only person that's said that but I'm not really seeing it. I think he just looks slow in relation to Cook, but so does almost everybody else.

    I think him and Tre White were alternating series and then at one point Hairston hit a predesignated snap count and was mostly out of the game after that.

    I thought he looked OK until he was running behind the backup OL. I'd guess it was about a frustrated defense watching the Bills running the same zone toss over and over and over and over again because Carolina couldn't do a thing about it.

    It could well be a viable option with Oliver out; I'd only be hesitant about wearing him down. I'd also think the Bills might be hesitant to put Walker in a position that doesn't necessarily play to his strengths. This is going to be interesting over the next few weeks as they adjust on the fly at all three levels of the defense.

    I'm surprised the league hasn't had a word with him about that. Anything goes on the sideline but bringing caps on the field should be a nogo, imo.

    He had salts on the field?! Are you sure he doesn't do it on every series whether he's getting the ball or not?
