  1. 6”4’ 205lbs? Better beef up a little bit or he’ll get snapped in half
  2. I’m in for the always possible (probable?) Winston meltdown.
  3. No that’s on me I thought you meant only Bills’ receivers, not league-wide. Which is why I was wondering whom on the Bills in recent history you had in mind.
  4. To each his own. Continuing to make fun of someone’s clear mental breakdown, whether brought on by substance use or not, is uncalled for in my eyes, especially when everyone else in the thread was making good, salient points about his actual PLAY on the field.
  5. Shame about the paywall. Sure you said some good stuff but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  6. It’s very, VERY funny to bring up that episode every single time someone makes a post about Zay’s on-field play. Never gets old. Hey! Maybe we should bring up Josh Allen’s racist tweets in every thread people make about him too...surely that will spawn more intelligent debate.
  7. Defense wasn’t “pliable.” That’s actually the last adjective I’d use to describe our defense last week. My god who does these write ups?
  8. If you really want this stuff to stop, promote the firing of Al Riveron. He’s an incompetent and reason 1(b) why stuff like this gets no pub and no discussion, except here. Riveron is terrible.
  9. You’re putting it in a slightly different way now and I can get with this a bit more. Still, there’s some hindsight in your reply - no I dont think Terry would get caught doing what Kraft did, but honestly I didn’t think Kraft was going to get caught for that either. And I agree completely about the other players on the team. I love Tre, Lorax, Allen, Gore, all the current leaders on the team. AND YET - we don’t REALLY know them. But I’d be shocked if any of those guys I named were accused of anything close to what AB is facing.
  10. Well we’ll give it 18 more years and see. The premise is flawed, especially when you’re now dealing in relative “morality.” Incognito? AB? isolated incidents. With the pats he points to specific players and incidents which could, over the course of 20 years, could also be considered isolated. Again, sample size. Look at the Bengals in comparison or Cleveland recently. Where’s the hate for them?
  11. The original argument was that the OP would rather have this “moral” regime than the “amoral” pats and their 6 rings. Inquiring into AB after he quit on his team last year doesn’t ring as promoting all the BS mcdermott promotes publicly. If you say the deal wasn’t closed so it doesn’t count I’d call you a liar and a hypocrite.
  12. Zay’s rookie numbers are terrible and his 2nd year numbers were better but nothing to write home about. So no argument there. And no fly routes.
  13. He gets open a lot for someone that’s never gonna just run past someone. Must be something.
  14. And two years isn’t enough time to say these guys are “moral.” They inquired into Brown after all. No, a deal wasn’t close, but it’s accepted that Beane at least made inquiries to Pitt on AB. So strike one against that argument.
  15. Yeah and there’s plenty more bad actors and bad actions when you’re comparing a regime with another one that’s been around 10x as long. Sample size and all that. Ignore that variable and sure, McD and Beane are pure as snow (so far.) But it aint necessarily convincing.
  16. So the past 20 years can be cited when talking about the Pats, but only the last 2 can be cited when talking about the Bills, simply because BB has been there for that long? That’s not disingenuous at all.
  17. I guess my remaining question is where do these multipliers on each of these stats come from? Not to get too meta, but i’d rather know the thinking behind the formula itself, rather than just the formula.
  18. Nope. Overthrows are always on Zay because he’s slow or ran the wrong route. You gotta get with the program with Zay bud.
  19. Or save the mods some time and grief and, you know, read for 20 seconds before starting a thread.
