12/21 Bills @ Pats** PreGame Thread
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Chiefs beat NE at home For the First Time in Forever ? the other week. This concerns me a bit just from a law of averages standpoint. How likely is it that the Pats take two home losses after winning however many in a row? And, the Pats NEED this game to have any realistic chance of getting that last ring. If/when we beat them, it will be VERY special. -

Bart Scott is still analyzing somewhere? He's a dumb***. He's been a Bills hater for years. He and Tony punch-my-face Gonzalez will be the last to come around. Actually, they'll probably "yeah-but" a Bills Super Bowl victory. -
Daboll and ST have been saving something.

I doubt it. IF they're saving something, I'd expect to see it in the playoffs. This is a team we should line up and beat. We shouldn't need trick plays. New England might need them though. -

Let's roll. -
Does anyone know if there is a schedule regarding which seeds will play when?
-
Packers, Vikings, maybe Chiefs I bet the Texans are rated higher than us.
-
I don't play Madden, but I would bet big money that the Bills are the lowest-rated double-digit-win team. Anyone care to confirm?

Start at 6:13. This is some of the most vehement hate for Allen I've seen. Methinks this should find its way to Josh... Absolutely ridiculous!

2019 Playoffs. 1st round
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Crazy how much of a chance the Browns have. They'd be in the driver's seat if they had beaten Arizona. If they beat Baltimore again, they should have a very doable scenario in Week 17. I wonder if they even realize it. They need to beat the Ravens at home and Bengals on the road. Then they need: Week 16: Panthers lose at Colts Steelers lose at Jets Saints win at Titans Week 17: Steelers lose at Ravens Titans lose at Texans Colts win at Jaguars I am picking all these to happen except them beating the Ravens. If they can get the upset this week, watch out. -

Understood, but he's got long arms and he plays bigger than his height. -

We need a dynamic, rangy talent who can grab "ZIP code" balls a la Thomas, Hopkins. That's the type of #1 receiver Josh Allen needs. -
Jerry Hughes performance of late
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
See, but everyone said the new additions should free up Hughes for more sacks, and it hasn't happened. So I'm not sure what to think about Hughes. -
I'm sorry, but I feel very disrespected, and I'm ticked off. 24 teams -- 24! -- have more selections than the Bills. Who's shocked that the Bills are the ONLY playoff team with only one selection? The disrespect is real. In fact, the next-best teams with only one representative are the 5-9 Jaguars and 5-9 Broncos!

Bills Season Review & Pats Rematch (Video)

Re-posting from another thread: I was actually going to create a thread seeking ideas for how to improve our home-field advantage. I think that could be a productive discussion, and hopefully it could catch some attention. Long-term, obviously it would be great to build a stadium that amplifies the Bills Mafia noise. It should also have a retractable roof, as the weather provides an advantage over few opponents. The Terrible Towels and those classic songs are a big deal in terms of intimidation. The 12th Man ceremony in Seattle is big. The tomahawk chop and chant in Kansas City is big. The "J-E-T-S" chant is actually extremely loud and intimidating. The Bills don't have anything quite like these -- the Shout song doesn't scare people. Coaching-wise, something also needs to be done to prepare the players for playing at home. They need to come with that same intensity they show on the road; in fact, more so. I'm thinking the train horn also needs to go and needs to be replaced with something more intense. Bills brass should look at any and all ideas to tweak and improve the game-day atmosphere to maximize our home-field advantage. Beane and McDermott could make a real long-term impact for years to come even after they're gone if they are able to implement new home-field traditions.

So unless the Miami Miracle occurs, and if the Bills do win this week (which I think they will), it seems likely that we're going to get: Pittsburgh at New England Buffalo at Houston >>> Buffalo at Baltimore New England at Kansas City Juicy af If the Bills don't beat NE, then it's just going to end up KC @ NE, which would mean both the Chiefs and Ravens will have a chance to preserve our record
