I don't understand why Gordon is unrealistic. The Bills have one of the best cap situations in the league and a need for that type of player at RB. Sometimes it feels like the mentality is that the Bills have less money than everyone else.
We could spend up to13 million and still be at the league average for cap space. Let's sign a guy!
You'd love to see them roll with White, Norman, Johnson, Johnson, and Wallace, but McD has a history of going light at the position so I don't expect it.
Offense:
Diggs
(Re-signed Spain)
Defense:
Norman
Addison
Klein
Matakevich
Jefferson
Butler
(Extended Poyer)
Is McBeane always going to prioritize defense first? Going into this, all of the analysis was that the Bills needed to build the offense, but apparently McBeane had other plans. You can talk about the draft all you want, but those returns aren't usually immediate.
Okay, given how last year went in terms of playing time for McKenzie and Foster, how does it make sense to sign Foster but not McKenzie? What changed? Someone explain this to me.
Beane is making moves like he's strapped for cash, not like he has top 3 cap space in the NFL. This is awesome. Beane is a great general manager. This is exactly how you should behave. Such discipline.
That's what they said about him during the AAF last year, and then nothing happened. I remember Mike Martz said Spruce would have started for the old Rams.
