  1. Thanks man. It's more like good luck to all of us. We need this just as much as I need this. This teams downfall has been it's slow starts. As for the tax comments, I did this for a living for 3 years. Now I hold a normal job, 6 days, pretty much office space * 100. This won't get me out of it, but it it could spark my imagination (always wanted to run my own show). MI/OH state doesn't let you net out your wins and losses like the feds do. Still, I paid taxes like a good boy. If you gamble in those two states and follow law you might as well stop gambling.....That is unless you can net a big win without spending much like this would be. This was my first, and could be my last play of the year if it works out.
  2. I did this as my job for 3 years. I'm a stat freak, a historian, a football nazi. I played in college. I understand emotions and variables as they relate to football. I've spent/wasted so many years of my life trying to understand it all. I'm shocked this parlay survived. I've been doing this long enough to know this was a special sequence of events that made this happen. I made some good calls, got some good breaks (you need to). Bottom line, I can drive to Windsor in less then an hour, hedge the bet, make 5 G's on my $100 bet and call it a day. F that. I believe in this team. We will win tomorrow. This is my team and I refuse to hedge my bet. I usually stick to the rules of professional gambling, one of the biggest says don't follow emotion. But I didn't in this regard. I'm sticking to my guns, we will win tomorrow because we have a better team, a more hungry team, a more understudied team, and it will be a great day for all of us. GO BILLS!!! Tomorrow is our day!!!!! Go big or get the F out of town!!
  3. Been here before guys, you saw my post. I had a pretty massive win two years ago. I posted on it. Crazy day that was. Here I sit again. I had a 6 team parlay, 5 have concluded, 5 wins. 3 with + odds. I've been debating on going to Windsor with people close to me. Hedge my bet. Guarantee $5,000 or more. I have about 10 people lined up to bring funds expecting a kick back. Screw that. This is my team. These are my Bills. We will win tomorrow. I will win 11k. If I wasn't sure I would drive to Windsor and guarantee myself $5,000. We will win tomorrow!!!!!!! GO M'UCKIN BILLS!!!! 4. I feel he's never been in position to be more aggressive in his offensive approach. To do so with the quarterbacks and offensive players he's had would decrease the chances of winning. He's just had no offensive talent in all his years of a coaching. As a result he runs a very conservative approach which helps average talent win. I can't imagine what our record would have been the last two years if we opened it up as much as some people want. We either didn't have the talent, we didn't have the experience, or we didn't have both. We don't need to be Fairchild asleep, but I don't think DJ wants that either. I agree that fundamentally the strength of a team is it's lines, but no evidence supports that drafting lineman makes you successful. The only thing that makes you successful is drafting good players. We keep doing that and we will be fine.
  5. JD went to Utica Eisenhower, I watched him a few times in high school. He played with his brother Joe who was an exceptional QB and Safety. His brother actually went to Buffalo University for a year before transferring over to Saginaw Valley State to join John. I saw them both in the MHSA state championship game. I think JD was a senior and his brother a sophomore or freshman. That team was impressive, both brothers stood out as men amongst boys.
  6. 1. If you’re ready to declare him the right guy, when you weren't before, just because he played well his 2nd preseason game of this season, I wouldn't give you much credibility. 2. If it took you until now to realize he was the guy, I wouldn't give you much credibility.
  7. Mikie2times is my handle. I got a 360, hit me up if you wan't to play online.
  8. Really? I'm not. I don't post very often anymore. The wall is lame, filled with people like yourself. 100,000 opinions, no facts. Stats don't matter, film doesn't matter, nothing of relevance matters. I've been here for a decade, not years. Since the first web page. You picked on my post count. I don't post very often anymore. I'm just a factual based NFL historian of 20 years. Again, bring logic into this discussion. Your opinion means nothing to me, as I'm sure my opinion means nothing to you. But if you cut the crap I'll load you up with so much stuff you won't say stats mean nothing, unless your illogical, which seems like a real possibility. I can back up everything I say, very easily. I'm no hard ass, just a guy that recognizes bull when I see it...... So you like JP, again, why do you like him? Or should I trust Risin's ability to scout a NFL QB based on opinion. Give me a break. Again, if you want to turn this into a actual debate I'll make you look like a fool in 5 seconds. I like ___ because he's ____ means nothing to me. Your just another TBD fool who doesn't know his a$$ from a post pattern.
  9. Stats? Logic? You sleeping with boys....It's all the same.
  10. already did that want me to post the results?.......again....
  11. Former hard ass huh? I bet you rub your belly and think your the latest brosky. News flash, I'm not challenging you to duel of internet supremacy. I'm challenging you to back your vomit up with a fact or two. Again I'm waiting. I'll just post links of former posts when you say something coherent. In the mean time grab a Pabst Blue Ribbon, tickle your brothers grundle, and relax.
  12. Actually most regulars respect my posts, why? Because I will eat the ever loving crap out of them with facts if they don't. By all means try me, and don't dispute what I say with your weak ass opinions. I'll bring facts and leave you crying like a B word with a skinned knee.
  13. Funny that same great O-line only became great when Trent started checking down. If you look at the numbers, JP was still averaging close to league worse numbers in sacks per pass attempt, and they couldn't block against the run worth two craps. Figure out what the hell your talking about before you post, otherwise people with half a cerebellum will remove your logic.
  14. This talk of "screwing" up JP is hilarious. Had the Bills never removed Losman he would still be the same QB. Nothing would change. He takes to many sacks. He fumbles. He can't make reads to secondary targets. He has poor accuracy. He does two things well, throw deep, and run. Thats all. Those are the only things he's ever looked good doing and will never look good doing anything else. You can disagree with the way the coaches managed him but that management would have never corrected his fundamental issues as a QB.
  15. Farve had a QB rating below 73 in 05 and 06. He tossed more interceptions then touchdowns those years. New system, new players, he will probably be pressing a little bit, and has a few more years on the arm. I see it far more likely that he returns to the 05/06 performance instead of the one we saw last year. Either way I'm not concerned about New York. We've been building a team from the inside out. They made a bunch of flashy signings and are building it from the outside in. Remember how that worked for us when TD was here? Come to think of it, this trade reminds me of when we acquired Drew.
  16. No he's not. He might be one of the best pass blockers, perhaps THE best young pass blocker, but he's average in the run game. He plays high. The feared "left side" was often blown up last year in critical situations.
  17. Probably the GM's more so then the coach, both are responsible for getting talent but it falls more on the GM. By the way who ran the show at QB for his offenses? Rookies, Kordellas, Jim Millers, Cade McNowns, Losmans the list of misfits goes on for days. Run a stat check on teams with QB's who enter a season with a career rating under 80, I bet Jaurons win % far exceeds the average of those teams. He's had two pro bowl offensive players, both lineman, in the history of his head coaching career. The lack of talent is undeniable and overwhelming. But I guess he should just "get it done". If not lets replace him, build a new system, get us a winner.Afterall trying that about half a dozen times over the last decade played no role in our playoff drought.
  18. Lots of talent on those Bears and Bills offenses huh?
  19. Which actually was his first, as Mr. Stain fails to point out, Edwards played as a true Rookie, JP did not. Edwards would have gotten the same yank job JP got his 2nd year had JP done anything with his chance last year. He imploded per usual, not once, but twice. But "he just didn't have a fair shot". As if pat, pat, pat sack is something you just "overcome". Wait, he's close, here it comes, all he needs is.....Heard that with Drew Bledsoe enough to know how that story ends up. Why again does rooting for a Bills QB to be good make you a fan of the player more then the team?
  20. Are you fuggin kidding?!?! Martz and JP?!? thats got to be the funniest crap I read on here in awhile. JP is a sack machine, Martz offenses always get the QB killed. Honestly, you couldn't ask for a worse combination of skill sets. Let me guess, you thought this would work because they both like throwing deep? After all JP was "inhibited" with the Bills, but once he's "unleashed" watch out..... Makes sense I guess. That is if the qb had 8 seconds to get rid of it. I would love to see Losman in our Division. He wouldn't know what the hell to do vs the cover 2.
  21. Flashback to his rumble against the fish in the playoffs when even Tindale got in on the action. I liked Holmes, he ran hard, came from a horrible background. To bad his playing days didn't last longer.
  22. We will be favored I know that. My guess is -1
  23. Does he have a nice bubble?
