TRADE: Arizona ships Simmons to Giants for a 7th
Udubalum07 replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought that Arizona was planning for him to start at safety this year. That seems like a really low value for an athletic freak like Simmons. -
Game Day Thread? Bills @ Steelers 8/19

They are wanting to give Isabella more kickoff return practice. -
Dwayne Haskins killed [Edit: struck by vehicle]
Udubalum07 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wouldn't they be going after some type of criminal investigation if he was drugged and basically taken against his will? then died due to the prior listed activities. The fact his family has already received money through settlements is crazy to me. How many more lawsuits are they filing? I'm guessing he didn't take care of them with a solid life insurance policy. -
Jonny Manziel documentary on Netflix is great
Udubalum07 replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
He reminds me of a kid in my high school that just can pick up anything and was better than most anybody. All state football, basketball, and baseball. Partied all the time. Ended up playing d1 baseball. Didn't hardly see him practice. Johnny football was just the best of the athletes like that so it took him to really high levels. -
The last time he was a true play calling OC was at Colorado under John Embree. That team had huge problems with being organized and even setup for plays. He was terrible as an OC for them, bit that was quite a few years ago, and he has had a great person to work under. We will see how this goes, but my money would be on little to no improvement.

Building the most problematic NFL player 🤣

Johnny football's nose and study habits. -
Klein is the only one that hasn't gotten a chance with the 1s. I'm thinking they are looking to go young this year, and hopefully have a multi year cost savings at that spot. They will plan to put Klein on the practice squad and if somebody gets hurt then they can have h him activated. I do think that the other three would be picked up if cut.

I'm hoping it's Spector. The guy had an over 9 RAS score so, he is plenty athletic. The coaching staff has talked about great instincts and from what we saw from PS last year, the guy loves to hit.

Matt Araiza is Suing Woman who Falsely Accused him
Udubalum07 replied to wppete's topic in Off the Wall
It was proven videos taken at the party that she was telling everybody she was 18 and going to the junior college. That's why there was not statutory rape charges. The morals of random sex could be discussed, but I would guess around 90%of the league would have been guilty of that in college. -
Hurts really surprised me with how he looked in the super bowl as well. I had seen him quite a bit at Alabama and Oklahoma, and expected him to be more a Tyrod Taylor type pro. He made very few what I would call "wow" plays in college or taking the team on his back and winning a game. He will have to back it up but he looked like a top 4-7 qb in the league last year which I never expected to be the case.

Like others have said, it all comes to protecting him. If you go back and look at the 2021 playoff games. His protection was solid. That was JA at his best which was completely lights out and best in the league. Those games are what drove BB not to mess with the line much last year, and is providing them hope coming into this one. I feel a lot better about the line this year besides depth at the tackle positions, so this could be the year we were all hoping for last year after those playoff games from 2021, where he was unstoppable.

The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?
Udubalum07 replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Considering Diggs doesn't show up for anything that isn't mandatory, this is a tough sell. All these new receivers that he could help mentor and improve the team and he is a no show. -
This one hits home. One of my really close high school friends had to deal with this in a small town. He and his family ended up moving due to false allegations. The thing that gets me is everyone knows his name, and doing some initial searches, i still can't find hers. She shouldn't have any protection at this point. What she did was awful and she should be held accountable.

If You Could Pick Any RB to Line Up Behind Josh
Udubalum07 replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Barry would be great from a straight running perspective, but for the team, I would go for more a total package running back. So, a healthy Christian McCaffrey or Marshall Faulk would be my picks. -
As a Wyoming grad, it would be a good signing. He played all the interior line positions at wyoming, at different points of his career. Was one of the most durable lineman in his 4 year career, and is technically sound. He is also very smart. He would be cheap right now, and would be worth a look, if his injury history turns around, he could have another solid 5 years in the league.

Do you guys feel right about FA/Draft and the "Process" ?
Udubalum07 replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall
This team is an elite team. They were 13 and 3 last year, in most years that gets you the one seed. The defense will be better if they are able to stay healthy. To end the year Poyer was hobbled, Hyde was out, Miller was out, Phillips was out, Tre wasn't himself, Elam was a rookie that was still learning, and then you had the Hamlin impact as well. With some better injury luck and some development from the young guys, the defense could be better without Edmonds. On offense, the two biggest issues were receiving options and the offensive line. The guards will be improved and I'm still optimistic with a healthy offseason and his athleticism Brown could be an above average right tackle. Adding some more slot options and adding Kincaid in the draft, plus Josh's elbow healing can improve the passing game. They also added a couple of running backs that will be improve their options for short yardage. There is a lot to be excited about. -
Spector will be one to keep an eye on during camp. He played well in the preseason games, although the competition wasn't great. He showed up big every chance he got. I remember reporters saying he was sticking out in practice as well. Beane has brought his name up multiple times as someone that will compete.

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
Udubalum07 replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
I will say it now DHop and OBJ will not do anything with Baltimore. They will do just as well as last year. Have ten to 12 wins and lose in the wild card round. Then all the ESPN analysts will say because he had too old of receivers and that is why he will have middle of the pack numbers. -
Pitts RB Israel Abanikanda. Maybe a 3rd rder?
Udubalum07 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the brass uses any pick on a running back, I would go Ibraham from Minnesota, and let him battle Damien Harris for power back. The guy is a beast, and can probably be had with their 5th or 6th rounder. -
I saw it as a shoulder strap for his bag. I didn't see a sling.

WR Allen Robinson available, Rams willing to eat salary
Udubalum07 replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
If they take 10 million of the salary and give them a 5th, I think would be worth a shot. That would be less than 5 on the cap for a receiver that just in 2020 had close to 1300 yards. -
Love this signing. Take some of the hits off of Josh on short yardage situations. I saw a few comparing yards per carry to Singletary, but he also had to run into stacked boxes where Devin was usually running into favorable alignments. Absolutely need the offensive line to be better though.

Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
Udubalum07 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think he will have to play this year. On about 15 million less than what he turned down. He is a specialty scheme qb that is not worth what teams would have to give up. -
Love this! It's only two years and if Hyde and Tre are back healthy then this is one of the best defensive backfield in the league. Now just need Jack Campbell in the 2nd and we are rolling.
