  1. This ESPN article sounds GREAT for the Bills until you re-read the first sentence. The Buffalo News makes us sound like guaranteed contenders. What's your view? Bills 2019 Season in a Nutshell-- Marcel Louis-Jacques ESPN Sports 9-2-19 The Buffalo Bills are ranked No. 26 for 2019 in ESPN's preseason Football Power Index. The Bills want their young quarterback to opt for his check-downs and intermediate options over pushing the ball downfield this season. His ability to do so and take care of the ball is paramount to offensive success in 2019. A rebuilt offensive line (Mitch Morse, Quinton Spain, Ty Nsekhe, Cody Ford), a rebuilt receiver room (John Brown, Cole Beasley) and bolstered backfield (Frank Gore, Devin Singletary) give the Bills a new look in 2019. If Allen can take care of the ball and make smart decisions, this unit should be markedly improved from 2018.
  2. Well, is there a reasonably capable Practice Squad QB kid available to join the Bills??? Someone other than Allen or Barkley to throw balls in practice over 17 +weeks to keep their arms from going dead.
  3. The 33 year old vet is available after the Pats released him today. Maybe a great source of information and a good back-up if either Allen or Barkley get nicked? His salary was $915,00 in '18 but was to jump to $2mil this season.
  4. TWO BASIC GAME DAY THREADS: 1. Positive things the Bills are doing 2. Negative things the Bills are doing I hate the; "Shady looks slow", "Why isn't Ray-Ray getting more looks", They should have picked up Allen as our Punter" - - it's all nonsense that takes up so much space! Really - who gives a crap!
  5. It seems all 3 Buffalo TV network sports commentators, WGR radio and the Buffalo News don't have much to say about the BILLS #1 Draft Pick, Ed Oliver, through 3 pre-season games. Has anyone watched him closely in the pre-season games? What have you observed?
  6. After watching #1 Ed Oliver in this game it's obvious he isn't ready to be an NFL starter. Getting pancaked twice one-on-one while trying to penetrate the the Lion's O-Line isn't only embarrassing but shows a lack of ability at the NFL level.
  7. THANK YOU for an honest reply! It's refreshing on this board!
  8. I thought Josh looked very poor in the 1st pre-season game. The same accuracy issues as last year and the lack of game instincts. His release is slow and if he keeps running the ball when he feels no receiver is open he'll get hurt. As a LEADER for the offense he seems very immature. A lot of nice talk to the media and in his Buffalo area commercials but he just doesn't come-off as THE GUY!! With the HC in his 3rd season he needs WINS! Will he allow Josh to decide his fate???
  9. Chris Brown earns $39,600 from the Bills through their PR account. I know - I cut the checks. Want to you want from the guy??
  10. I think it means the OL coach should be running the OL and that maybe they really don't have 5 excellent players up-front - maybe????????????????????
  11. Really - - who cares - - we didn't win the ultimate prize and that's what counts in Bills history!
  12. Excellent! Every team picture has the same crap.
  13. WE. us living in the Buffalo area, know damn well we can't afford a new, plush new stadium for an NFL team playing 8-10 REAL games a season. Just look at the median income in the area. WE are what WE are. So, the best we can hope for is that the Team Owners build a multi-purpose facility for hockey, football, indoor lacrosse, indoor soccer, major concerts etc. That's the only way they can possibly make a profit from a new building.
  14. It's his opinion and that's his right to express it. He'll get more publicity here by his stance than jumping on the Josh band wagon. But, let's face facts, Josh is very inexperienced and don't plenty of us have some doubts??
  15. He was a star without all the hype and glory. A respected man on and off the field. It was another age of football and he was part of the greatness of it all. RIP Bart.
  16. I was at the Rockpile in 1960 with my Dad and I've been optimistic ever since . It' a wonderful illness!
  17. I think he'll play a lot at the traditional DE position. Just too good an athlete to box him in with the big bodies
  18. As a rookie HC with a team that has a long history of losing you get what's available at the end of the line. Juan is now an "Analyst" for Michigan. At 59 his NFL coaching may be over. His time with the Ravens under the brother of Michigan's Head Coach probably got him the job.

  20. 35 BUF qb 3 2 2 0-2-0 42 70 60.0 465 0 0.0 4 5.7 40 6.6 4.1 11.1 232.5 56.0 27.0 5 33 5.76 3.36 6.7 The guy threw 4 interceptions in 2 games and passed for 465 yards total in both. I don't think he could "play" anymore. Realistically, his concussion seemed a bit theatrical. It's been 6+ years since he even had a decent season. Why do Bills fans build up guys that aren't worth it - - why oh why???
