I resent being called the OP with your lame comments. I resent being called the OP when you have nothing insightful to say. Are you a favorite troll? -
How bad is Levi Wallace making tackles?

I don't think he's bad on tackles - I know he is bad. Watch the tapes. He's very bad on one-on-one tackles. -
I know he was a walk-on at Alabama and got a scholarship based on his play. He came to the Bills as an undrafted free-agent. He just can't make tackles! The only Steelers score came when he whiffed on a tackle. It's happened all year. He weighs only 179 lbs. vs Tre White at 194. Is that why he appears to be gun shy on tackles??

The team improved to 6-1 away from home which is the first time the Bills have won six of their first seven road games since 1964. Going to Houston or KC in the Play-Offs doesn't scare me at all! Actually, I think it's scary good!

It's not 'expert' analysis. Just how I see the match-ups and the Steelers ability to control the ball. -
I personally think Brian Daboll has done a good job with the Bills offense. He's basically got 1 RB, 2 WR's and a rookie TE to work with. In his press conference after the Ravens game he stated: "Josh has quite a bit of responsibility in the overall organization of protections. Whether that be a point or a redirect or a slide if he needs to do something. I mean you can't have alerts on every play with a team that pressures a lot." "We were behind the defense on a couple of plays there. Third play of the game, we had him. We missed him. Safety came down and we had him, just missed on it." Josh Allen's inexperience and limitations certainly are part of the Bills inability to score points. WHY all the blame on the OC?

Too many people think of the 'Glory Days' with Kelly, Thurman etc. and how they failed miserably playing Pittsburgh. This is a NEW Bills era without the ego's that hurt the SB era Bills.

I've seen on other posts that many people still think NFL officials rely on other employment and are part-time amateurs. NOT SO! Based on the new contract between the NFL and the NFLRA signed in September 2012, NFL referees will earn an average of $173,000 in 2013, and move up to an average of $205,000 by 2019. Money reports that NFL officials in 2019 make about $201,000 a year, and that they receive a defined-contribution 401(k) plan with an annual deposit of $18,000 and a partial matching contribution. As a referee, Walt Coleman is paid more than $3,000 per game and has one of the highest starting salaries. Walt makes around $205,000 per year, which is the veteran salary for referee – assuming that he referees an average of 16 games per year, Walt Coleman makes around $50,000 during the NFL season.

Monday Night Football 39 years ago - who remembers?
Stallions replied to Stallions's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IF you are trying to be funny - massive fail. YES - Chuck Knox era. -
There were three seconds left in the game, score tied at 13, and million of viewers watching "Monday Night Football" as New England Patriots kicker John Smith trotted onto the Orange Bowl field 39 years ago. Frank Gifford and Howard Cosell called the famous "Monday Night Football" game the night John Lennon was shot and killed. For those who remember the next few moments of that night, Dec. 8, 1980, Smith and the game itself have become historical and cultural markers overshadowed by but forever connected to Howard Cosell's announcement that John Lennon had been shot and killed. "Remember, this is just a football game, no matter who wins or loses," Cosell told TV viewers. " Players and fans inside the stadium were not aware of what Cosell had just announced on national television. There was no public-address announcement or murmur through the crowd, like there would have been today with people scanning social-networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Instead, fans inside the stadium watched as Smith's kick was blocked, disappearing into the aqua and orange of Miami's defensive line. The Dolphins scored on the first possession of overtime to win 16-13.

An uncomfortable play-off situation with the Texans

Please Mr. Postman deliver another RB to the Bills

Getting better season by season is difficult. Major injuries (the Bills were fortunate this year), players lost to free agency, other teams improving and a tough schedule up-front are all factors. Win now! -
Please Mr. Postman deliver another RB to the Bills

Wait until next year? How many teams say that each year? -
Losing to the Steelers this Sunday puts our play-off hopes in jeopardy. They have the Jets & Ravens remaining on their schedule. A win over the Jets gives them 10 wins. And, the Ravens may rest their starters for the final game of the season. So, that basically puts our fate in the hands of the Texans & Titans. Tennessee is hot and the Texans just lost to the lowly Bronco’s at home. It would be great if Houston wins the division and the Titans finish 10-6 with the playoff tie-breaker in favor of the Bills. BUT, these teams play each other twice in the last 3 weeks of the season. A scenario could develop with the Titans winning the division and the Texans finishing 10-6. Would we have the tie breaker over Houston with mutual 10-6 records???

Competitive NFL teams have TWO good RB's that can DELIVER THE MAIL ! The Bills don't! Get another back that can run outside, take screen passes for good yardage and run short routes that break coverage. Singletary has to carry the entire load alone. Running #20 outside on 1st and goal from the five yard line is absurd.

Who will conquer the wind this Sunday?

Both teams may try to avoid mid-range FG's with that wind. -
Smoke vs the team that gave up on him.

Great observation! A great pick up for us! -
The forecast for Orchard Park is partly sunny, 45 degrees & WINDS at 20-25 MPH from the South. Josh can throw through this type of wind. Can Lamar or will he run more often? Interesting and fun game this week! **UPDATED FORECAST** Winds now 20 mph + with gusts up to 30 mph. Tough to pass!
