  1. Is their dominance on TV driven by Jerry Jones? A long history of being the best NFL team in Southern TV markets? Fans across the NFL world hoping the Cowboys fail? The large TV market in TX, OK, Missouri & Arkansas? Playing in the NFC East with huge TV markets in NYC, Philadelphia & Washington? WHY?
  2. Joe B lost his impact after leaving TV. He seems to feel writing something dramatic is necessary in his new job.
  3. The San Francisco 49ers have suspended broadcaster Tim Ryan for one game ... after the ex-NFLer said Lamar Jackson was successful at faking hand-offs because of "his dark skin." Ryan -- who played with the Chicago Bears from 1990-93 before starting his commentary career -- went on a KNBR radio show to discuss the Niners' 20-17 loss to the Ravens and why the QB is so good. “He’s really good at that fake, Lamar Jackson," Ryan said. "But, when you consider his dark skin with a dark football with a dark uniform, you could not see that thing." “I mean you literally could not see when he was in and out of the mesh point and if you’re a half step slow on him in terms of your vision, forget about it, he’s out of the gate.”
  4. I'd rather see us win them all and let the PATS play wild card!
  5. I don't worry about the Bills in the Play-Offs after Thursday's performance. Three key AFC games may eliminate some pretenders for the final play-off spot. 1. Cleveland at Pittsburgh. If the Browns win the Steelers have 6 loses. I don't see them doing much more with undrafted Hodges at QB. 2. Tennessee at Indianapolis. They both have 6-5 records. We beat Tennessee so it would be nice if they won this game. 3. Oakland at Kansas City. I'm hoping for a KC win at home. Let them clinch the AFC West and watch the Raiders (6-5) fall off the chart.
  6. Excellent information - THANKS for the work!
  7. No way Levi gets $8 mil for next year. He's splitting time now as the season goes on and NOT a difference maker.
  8. Playing Monday nights, Thursday nights and 4:30 on Sunday's isn't that ideal over the course of a season. I agree with you!
  9. I never saw Kyle Williams do it! John Brown doesn't do it! The "it" is a scripted act of 'look at me" to show off as an individual. Silly!
  10. I remember when the '88 Bills turned the corner. There was no free agency then and the core group stayed with the Bills through the Super Bowl years. All is different now. UFA's, FA's and the salary cap control the game & a team unless you have a Tom Brady at QB. Enjoy this 2019 team, the players, the coaches and remember all can change so quickly. It's wonderful. GO BILLS!
  11. Buffalo Punt Avg In20 TB Long 9 Corey Bojorquez 3 42.0 2 0 58
  12. Add Joe Ferguson and an all-time great M.C. Reynolds to list and those are the 8!!!
  13. Gary went 4 for 21 passing with an interception for 29 total yards. Unbelievable but true. OJ had 273 yards.
  14. I lived through those years and agree with your assessment. It was embarrassing but the fans still showed up!
  15. The Bills have played on T-Day 8 times. Who can name the QB's that played in those games for the Bills? HINT: The number is 8!
  16. Are we talking about The Arena League with games played indoor on hockey ice covered with a carpet??? We had the Buffalo Destroyers who were awful. Ray Bentley coached the team for a few seasons. The owner moved the team to Columbus OH. How could anyone believe this would relate to NFL football? Nobody from the Arena League was a potential NFL player. Lou Saban coached a team in Milwaukee years ago. It was a throw the ball in the air and run & catch it.
  17. I loved Ferguson's quick release, almost a wrist throw that was deadly accurate! So true. Money got in the way of his career. And, Ralph didn't like that crap at all.
  18. Defenders could use their elbows and helmets as weapons. And, no replay to see if a knee was down before the fumble!
