Since the 1990 season, only 1 Super bowl winning QB has not thrown for 300 yards in the regular season or playoffs. That was Trent Dilfer in 2000. Stop saying 300 yard games don't mean anything. The numbers say otherwise. At some point in the season, you're going to need to be able to push the ball downfield through the air. The guys like Trent and EJ couldn't do that. That's why they're not in the league anymore.

Star was a HUGE swing and a miss by this front office. Lazy, terrible stats, terrible on PFF, he's playing like a rotational DT you'd pay 2-3 million a year to.

Yup. He's one of the outliers. He did throw for 293 yards and 3 TDs his 6th game of his career in a win against the patriots.

A 300 yard game is big. You don't find many true franchise qbs that haven't thrown for at least 300 yards and 3 TDs in one their first 16 starts.

I remember at the time of the Peter's trade I was so pissed at him and his agent. I was happy the Bills traded him. I and the Bills were totally wrong. They traded away a HOF LT in his prime. They were paying a guy next to Peters in Derrick Dockery nearly double and he never had and would never ended up in a pro bowl. It was a classic Bill's blunder.
