  1. Not really. Sounds like the 17th game has already been agreed to in principle as long as the Owners go along with a reduction preseason games and full contact practices during both training camp and regular season. Really doesn’t appear like there is the kind of opposition that would result in a strike or lockout. The players will probably push the owners for a couple last minute concessions that may or may not be agreed too, but that is probably it. Really think both sides want to get this new CBA done ASAP. Nobody is interested in killing the golden goose.
  2. Absolutely! We need to win the division in 2020. The total number of wins doesn’t mean that much as long as it is better than the rest of the teams in our division. Really like our chances. The Patriots reign is over. Between the Bills, Chiefs and Ravens I don’t see the Pats in another SB for a long time. Within a couple years they will be playing in front of a half filled Gillette Stadium crowd. So long to all the front-runner, bandwagon jumper fans!
  3. As a Syracuse alum and big fan I have seen plenty of him. Tough runner to bring down. Seemed like he was banged up quite a bit these last two seasons though. Wouldn’t mind the Bills going after him, but would hope not before the 5th round.
  4. I thought 12 was a little low myself, but again what was the metric used. You would think the teams drafting ahead of us if doing a good job would score better as they would have an earlier shot at the better players at least in the early rounds.
  5. Ultimately, just don't see him leaving NE as much as I would love to see him out of our division. He will finish his career as a Patriot.
  6. Interesting. I had never heard that before. A little hard to believe, but I’ll take your word for it. Boy, and all those years I spent sticking needles in that Chuck Knox voodoo doll, lol !
  7. Back in the day when Chuck Knox was coach, don’t remember who the GM was they drafted Gary Anderson, kicker out of Syracuse and cut him after the preseason when he missed a couple near 50 yard FG’s and kept the incumbent Nick Mickameyer (sp?). The Steelers immediately grabbed him up and Anderson went on to be a perennial All-Pro and one of the best place kickers of all time. Don’t know why that boneheaded move sticks in my head after all these years, but it does.
  8. Love listening to that young man. So well spoken and that accent is awesome. Would love to see him make the team next year or at least find way to spend another year on the PS.
  9. Still in process, yeah right Commish. Nothing serious will ultimately be done except for maybe another slap on the wrist. Can’t upset the apple cart with the golden goose in it don’t you know! What a bunch of BS. Now MLB is getting the same way. Huge sign stealing scandal proven beyond any shadow of a doubt and much faster than any NFL rules violation review I might add. The punishment? Manager and GM get one year suspensions, team is fined and loses a few draft picks. No punishment handed down to any players involved. OMG, nothing but a bunch of wrist slapping. Are you kidding me? And we the fans are just supposed to just keep on believing the lie that all the games are true fair contests. You can root your heart out for your favorite team and bet your hard earned money if you like believing everything is on the up and up. It’s all just business don’t you know and all about the Benjamin’s!
  10. Thanks for sharing. Really interesting to see these stats in the graph chart way they were presented. Personally I have absolutely no doubt Josh will continue to improve due to his tireless work effort and relentless desire to be the best he can be. I truly believe over time he will prove out to be the best QB from his draft class.
  11. Definitely over. Barring a multi game injury for Allen no way less than 9 wins.
  12. No way they go RB in the first, even with a trade down. Would be shocked if they didn’t go defense with the first pick (edge, DT, CB) and if not D then an OL.
  13. Don’t like the idea of taking Green. A little too late in his career and far too often injured. This is the draft to get multiple WR’s if there ever was one.
  14. No way we go backwards like the Bears did. Josh is already better than Tribusky and will only get better with his work ethic. We’ve already seen the best of MT and he has nowhere To go, but down.
  15. Also the Browns game. Chubb was fumbling all over the place in the early part of that game! Killed any chances for the Brownies and the Pats capitalized.
  16. Gotta love that letter! Always liked Dion. Really happy the way he bounced back this year after a less than stellar 2018 season. He acknowledged his failures and vowed to be a different player this year and accomplished that. Bills need to keep him in the fold for sure. Really loved his comments about Josh. Hearing more and more similar thoughts from a number of players, both young and old. Boy if that isn’t a positive sign for the future I don’t know what is. I’ve been a Bills fan for over 57 years now so my seat on the bandwagon is quite worn and comfortable now and I really don’t care how many more jump on, but if you are going to jump it has to be real!
  17. Personally I have no idea in what direction they will go in Round 1. So tough to say with confidence at any point really, but prior to FA it is really a crapshoot. I like the idea of a quality WR and Higgins or Jefferson would be awesome IMO, but not really sure McBean would go WR at 22. Gonna be a fun time leading up to the draft for sure though.
  18. Agree that Hopkins got the better of Tre in the second half, but still not a ton of yards and no TD’s in nearly three quarters of play after halftime. Hopkins is one of the top two or three WR’s in the league without question so no real shame there IMO. At least Tre didn’t get twisted around and smoked for a long TD like Brown did to that supposed best CB in the league in NE a couple weeks ago!?
  19. Whole heartedly agree with all your points. Excellent end of season summary.
  20. Just imagine what it could have been with real announcers for the game instead of that abc/ESPN crew. Booger McFarland is the worst and he just never shuts up!
  21. Excellent overview Shaw as usual. I couldn’t agree more, especially about the second half opening kickoff. That referee needed to stick to his guns and let his original call stand because it was the right call per the rules. The receiver never made any fair catch signal, nor did he take a knee which he should do if they ball does not go out of the end zone. I’m certain there have been more than one similar situations during the regular season where this action was ignored and treated like a touchback, but it’s not correct and this would have been the right place to set this act straight. With all the changes the League has made to pretty much take the kick return out of the game they need to enforce the proper procedures for the decision to not return the kick, period! The other point no one seems to be talking about was the Texans coach’s decision to not kick the field goal late in the fourth quarter which would have given them a six point lead and forced the Bills to score a touchdown to tie or win the game. This decision ultimately gave the Bills the chance to tie the game. I thought we were very fortunate there for that brain fart despite what that blabber mouth Booger said about being the correct decision to go for the first down.
