Josh Allen’s deep ball hasn’t been there so far
Buffalo Junction replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On a few it isn’t a misfire, so much as poor trajectory. He has to start putting more air under the ball so DBs can’t jump and make a play. -
Gruden didnt want Haskins

This is exactly what I’m hoping for.... Rosen knocked out, and Fitzmagic shows up with a career day. -

I’m going to laugh hysterically if the Skins end up with the #1 pick, and the fish end up bridesmaids after tanking intentionally. Just perfect karma. -

Week 5: Bills (+2.5) at Titans
Buffalo Junction replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This post had me laughing my ass off... ”I'm very curious to know, on a molecular level, what the hell Frank Gore is made of. He's about 6 years past his expiration date and he's on pace for just under 1,100 yards. At 36. I mean wtf...?” ??? -
All time... Bruce. He’d transform this defense into an all time D. Best possible player from McBeane era... A fully bought in and inspired Dareus. Complete fantasy because he’d have bought in and had a shot, but 2013-2014 Marcell playing next to Oliver makes this a top 5 D line. Realistically, Watkins or Woods. Allen needs another receiver. Watkins deep ball tracking would be a threat. Woods is just everything you want and would be process plus performance.

Progression from Good to Elite Defense
Buffalo Junction replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McD is likely heavily involved in the defense. Frazier and McD have known each other for twenty years. They were both position coaches under Jim Johnson in Philly at the turn of the century. The defense we’re looking at today is a combination of that influence (A gap pressure and line stunts) coupled with the cover 3 McD perfected and the cover 2 that Frazier always ran. They managed to mesh the schemes seamlessly which doesn’t happen without exceptional communication. -
Feliciano was also coming off of that neck injury. He likely played with a stiff neck because it was a big game, and his play will likely rebound. IMO, our biggest issue is that Nsekhe isn’t a great RT. I used to live in VA and watched a bunch of skins games. He’s a much better LT than RT. However, he’s average on the right side and one of the best swing tackles in the game. Beane took a scattershot approach and patched the oline. These guys aren’t top players, but they’re not full time liabilities either. I think we’ll see some more shakeups in the offseason. IIRC, Spain is on a 1-year deal. It’s possible they let him go after the season and move Dawkins, Ford, or Feliciano to LG next season. Wait and see. I’m happy with a middling line this year. Next year I want better.

It seems like he’s trying to push things when he has easy yards sitting there. If he doesn’t start taking those 3-7 yard completions on 1st and 2nd down at some point this year it’s not going to look good going forward. H also needs to find his internal clock... get to 5 seconds holding the ball agains man coverage just take off running unless it’s 3rd & long. He has the athleticism to make some magic happen. Particularly inside the 10 yard line -

I haven’t looked at the box score yet, but it seemed like the RG wit Gore was exerting it’s will on the Pats D. Seems like you’d want to make the Pats price they could stop it. ?♂️ -

One punt block away from victory despite a metric ton of turnovers. Can’t be mad at this loss. It’s frustrating, but this team is 1-3 players away from consistent dominance. Reliable punter, another WR and LT or DE and this team is stealing the division. -

Didn’t help that Dabs kept abandoning Gore. ?♂️ -

Disagree wholeheartedly. You have to kill the headhunting mentality. Look at the Thursday night game where the player that took out GBs starting RB ended up making a game changing play at the end. Tick for tack. You send out a player on an illegal hit, you serve the injury time for that game. -

Only comment.... Rule should be established that if you take out a QB with a H2H hit you should be sidelined until the QB returns. -
Tom Brady billboard just beautiful!!
Buffalo Junction replied to Sherlock Holmes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sadly, that statement also holds true for buttermilk. Most of what’s at tops or Wegmans is low-fat milk soured with lactic acid. Only brands I’ve seen make real buttermilk available in Rochester are Ithaca Dairy and Pittsford Dairy. I’d hazard a guess that most of the blue cheese dressings use a commercial scale yogurt process. Not really comparable to the real deal because, as you said, you lose all of the depth and richness. -

For sure. My only argument would be that it’s easier to find good ranch at a grocery store. The best blue cheese dressing has to be home made and fresh. Preferably (to me) with a sheep’s milk (Roquefort) and cows milk (Stilton) cheeses, real buttermilk, and high quality black pepper. -

Beasley, Knox or Singletary. It’s going to depend on which receiver BB wants to take away and/double. Best hope is that Brown can get behind SG early for a big gain. If SG can blanket Brown solo I can see them running bracket coverage on Beasley all game. -

I think they’ll match Gilmore on Brown straight up and bracket Beasley. Who knows though. He might come out and run zone blitzes and cover 3. No way of knowing until the game starts, but zone would keep the secondary with eyes on Allen. -
