  1. That’s something I’m waiting on. Particularly with the Ravens playing LA and SF before us. I’m hoping Wade comes up with an effective scheme which SF used to lay some shots on Jackson. Regardless, those game should be fun to watch.
  2. I wish I could say I predicted success. It was more of a critic of Daboll being predictable though.... As in “Oh, look. Gore’s in the game and McK is in motion. Guess it’s a run.”
  3. Realistically.... probably looking at a $75MM 5 year deal. It’ll be in that ballpark. Maybe 5 for $70MM if it gets done early with a solid guaranteed percentage. Tre doesn’t seem like a guy that’ll get lazy after getting paid. He comes across as a dude that’s playing for prestige ... As such, the cash needs to be in-line, but he really wants recognition of his talent.... a solid contract offer says that to him.
  4. He’s been limited by more than a few teams this season. It can certainly be accomplished. I’m kind of curious as to how that Dallas defense is going to approach our offense.... They've gotten gashed by backs like Singletary all year.
  5. Honestly, I think that we benefited today from having Morse miss the preseason. Even though this was a “new” line configuration in season, this exact unit had over a month of playing and practicing together. They had unity which matters when they aren’t the most talented o line. Love the depth. I hope he can keep replenishing it.
  6. I thought he died. Had to google that lol
  7. Really? I suggested this in a few threads and didn’t catch any flack for it. ?‍♂️ Heck, I even went so far as to say they should activate Duke and sit McKenzie because they should run those plays with Foster, Knox, Beas, and Brown to keep it unpredictable.
  8. He’s who I was harping for while everyone else was hyping Metcalf. Samuel just seemed like Robert Woods with better open field skills.
  9. After working 20 years in entertainment I can verify this. ?. Additionally, the ones that aren’t ego bound but unapologetically exceptionally good people surprise you.... Rarely who you think it will be. ?‍♂️
  10. There has to be some other qualifiers because that lis is disappointing if it’s supposed to be a “best” group.
  11. That’d be because Winstons also throws to other teams as frequently as his WRs. ?
  12. I’d pay more attention, but the backup is Sean Lee. He’s not going to screw up assignments. He’s older and often been injured, so Knox might be able to beat him 1 vs 1. Still, Lee’s good enough to start on many teams when healthy.
  13. Enough to knit some socks, maybe a scarf, but not enough to knit a sweater.
  14. He didn’t look great, but it was a big performance jump from earlier in the season. I certainly am not expecting lightning in a bottle, but a small jump might be reasonable if he’s sorted out where and when to take shots.
  15. I’m wondering if Allen gets hot down the stretch again. It’d certainly be something to have a QB that plays his best in the 4th quarter of games and the final quarter of the season.... If he averages 225+ passing, 50 rushing with a 3:1 TD/INT ratio the rest of the season this team is going to the playoffs unless there’s a total defensive meltdown.
  16. Well, from the proportions it looked to be about a foot to me.
  17. The placement of that “boot” is perfect
  18. Unfortunately Allen didn’t play against the Bears last year, so he hasn’t seen a Fangio defense first hand. On the plus side, that defense doesn’t exactly know what to expect first hand either. It’s gotta be difficult to prep for Allen’s skill set when you don’t have a QB that can stiff arm DTs to the ground. Gonna be interesting for sure.
  19. If Allen makes Miller look like Anthony Barr or Kiko we’re winning the game. ?
  20. I’m hoping Allen burns him for a TD then does a “putting of deodorant” TD celebration.
  21. Weakest? The NFC North has frequently produced 2 playoff teams in a year over the past 20 years.
  22. Possibly, but it’s hard to take Riggins over Earl... Either way... it’s a sledgehammer at the end of a game. Particularly if a defense has been abused by a relentless onslaught of O.J. and Sayers.
  23. OJ and Sayers with Brown, Earl Campbell, or Peterson to close the game out. I honestly can’t decide on a top 3 list. There’s too much talent. That said... Watch full games on YouTube. Out of everyone I’ve ever seen Sayers combination of vision, fluidity and speed is in another realm... The guy makes the other 21 players look like their moving underwater. Flash in the pan, but a hell of a flash.
  24. Nah. He’s sitting in NY with a pile of blow and riding the hamburger train to ego town.
  25. Consistency is the key. I’m pretty happy that he’s proved that he can read defenses, improve his accuracy, and make all the throws. He’s even proved that he can drive down the field and score against good defenses. What Allen needs to show is that he can do that on a consistent basis in most games (everyone has a stinker). It needs to start coming together for four quarters. Until that happens there will be question marks.
