The Bills were viewed as cool back then with all the star power (Kelly, Reed, Thomas, Smith, Biscuit, etc.) vs. the boring Giants with Hostetler, old OJ Andserson, Jumbo Elliott, etc.

Somewhere on my computer, I have a list I compiled a few years ago of all the teams overall records and inter-conference records for the 90's decade. I believe the Bills had the second-best overall record to the 49ers by only a few games and the best inter-conference record, even though they lost twice in meaningless final-week games against the NFC where they had already clinched the top seed. I'll try to find it. As for 30 for 30, The Four Falls of Buffalo is one I have not watched. I need to buy that on Amazon Prime (it is only $1.99). Thank you for mentioning that.

I wouldn't say he's on crack; it's a reasonable prediction. GB over PHI would not surprise me, nor would BAL over BUF, even though I don't agree, the homer that I am.

And yet the Bills completely dominated the NFC teams in the 90's, having the best IIRC (or second best?) inter-conference record of any team. We might have had a 17-year playoff drought, but we made up for that in the 90's and today.
