  1. Not if he started college in his 40's or before and wants to do an NCAA D1 sport. From Google AI: "In NCAA Division I, student-athletes have four seasons of eligibility within a five-year period to compete in a sport, and there is no age limit for playing. Here's a more detailed explanation: Four Seasons in Five Years: The NCAA's rule states that a student-athlete can compete in a sport for a maximum of four seasons, and these four seasons must fall within a period of five calendar years. No Age Limit: There is no age restriction for participating in NCAA Division I sports. Starting the Clock: The "clock" for the five-year period begins on the first day of classes of a term for which the student-athlete is registered for full-time study at a collegiate institution. Exceptions: The NCAA can grant exceptions to these rules in certain circumstances" [end] But I think it is ok for NCAA D2 or D3 or NAIA or NJCAA, etc.
  2. Impressed by your knowledge. Not many know that, or the difference between weightlifting and powerlifting. Those, as well as (real) wrestling, need to be televised more. Body building too.
  3. I dreamt last night the Bills won the Super Bowl. (Bizarrely, I was one of the players and was told to present Josh his award in the post-game ceremony privately since he didn't win gold, but only silver, but the guy handing out rewards wouldn't let me get Josh's silver medal.) So I think we'll be ok no matter what; a Super Bowl win is on the horizon EDIT: The only bad part was the game was in a dome, which won't occur until 2027-28 in New Orleans (although in 2026-27 it's at SoFi, so it might have been there).
  4. Give him another year. It took Eric Moulds three years to break out. Keon is going to stun us all, for the better!
  5. From google Ai: https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/18/us/new-york-law-rape-statute-of-limitations-extended/index.html "In New York, the statute of limitations for rape cases has been extended, with second-degree rape having a 20-year limit and third-degree rape a 10-year limit, while ***** in the first degree has no statute of limitation"
  6. Ok, you have me convinced! I am IN!
  7. So you want say a Travis Hunter, a generational CB/WR, projected to go first overall? Do you think we have anywhere near what that would take to move up?
  8. You mean anger? Yeah, they tried but couldn't get a long-term deal done and there was anger on both sides. Gilmore said he did not want the tag, and the Bills anticipated a holdout and a distraction. But that was 2017, right after McD was hired and Whaley was still GM. He left for New England for the 2017 season. They were confident McD could rebuild the secondary quickly. Now, with Beane, it might be ok, and he may not have a good selection anyway to choose from. We'll see after the draft.
  9. When I lived near Philadelphia, I bought an Eagles Terrell Owens jersey for $1 at The Sports Authority after he decided to leave Philly for Dallas (no Eagles fan for sure, but I figured I could do car work in it, lol). (BTW, Eagles fans are incredibly obnoxious, more so than Patriots fans.)
  10. Of course there should be exemptions. The Ogunjobi suspension we didn't know about prior to signing. And there would be a competitive disadvantage for something not the team's fault.
  11. Yep.m, sure is. That's one reason they got a bad grade for ownership in the recent NFLPA survey. As the expression goes: Jets gonna Jet.
  12. Now wait...who do you think you are? Woody Johnson?!
  13. Yeah, the Matt Araiza situations comes to mind, where some teams knew and Beane didn't. And Araiza didn't disclose this to the NFL first.
  14. Draft Shadeur????
  15. Lots of complaints on the twitter thread from the Bills that people saved their money for his 43 jersey and he changes it already.
  16. Brandon Beane wins the (early) April Fools' Day joke of the century!! 🍺
  17. If you don't log in to Twitter, they show you only old posts.
  18. I think he might have been joking?
  19. A lot better thread title than "Vague Title" which was never updated to a better one!! 🍺
  20. Thank you for actually embedding this tweet. It seems no one here can do this here recently. My faith in society has been restored! 🍺
  21. Yeah, there probably should have been just one thread to track non-Bllls FA moves and trades, but at the same time, it would be hard to announce major acquisitions unless someone updated the first post immediately as it happened, which is not possible realistically (unless you were @YoloinOhio in the olden days). You were in a tough spot, but I would have given Darnold his own thread l, but I would have also really hesitated too.
  22. The media may call it the "legal tampering period, but the NFL calls it officially the "Negotiating Period": https://operations.nfl.com/gameday/nfl-schedule/2025-important-nfl-dates/
  23. Most underrated joke of the year here on TBD!! 🍺
