LOL. Don't remind us of that. I watched it live and did not want Kelly's career to end that way.

Buffalo never played San Diego during Kelly's tenure. I learned something new today. Thank you for asking! And for all your research and taking the time to do a chart, etc. Back then, long times between playing teams was common. Buffalo didn't host Seattle from 1976, when Seattle first entered the NFL as an expansion team, until 1995. So for almost two decades Bills fans never got the privilege of watching the Seahawks in the Rich. And, from 1976 to 2007, we played 8 out of our 10 games against them at Seattle.

I explained this in a thread a few months ago to someone asking the same question. This question comes up every few months. Teams play same-seeded division teams in the conference teams for two straight times, either both home or both away. Then it rotates for the next two times. So since Buffalo and KC finished first in their divisions, respectively, in 2020 and 2021, we played KC away two straight times. The next two times the same-seeded AFC West team will be at our home, no matter who it is or where we are seeded in our respective divisions. Note: this particular rotation above doesn't apply for times our division plays all four teams in another division in the conference. That is a different rotation. So it will not apply next year when we play the entire AFC West. But the next two times after that when we play the West, the same-seeded team will be at our place.

Commanders RB Brian Robinson activated to 53 man roster

Agreed. Not working for me either. It has acted strangely a lot in the past too, like finding a thread for a while, then not, then finding it again, then not. (Plus the Shout Box on this site is now featured, as if this morning.) ---- EDIT: Ok, now I see the shout box is no longer featured prominently on top. Thank you...it was becoming annoying, lol (probably @SDS who fixed this! 😃) -
Another primetime snooze fest featuring cooking man. I blame the NFL for scheduling Denver, assuming they would be good and Russell would be his prior self. And they play next week on MNF at San Diego. At least the Chargers are more exciting. And their SNF game late in the season vs. Kansans City can be flexed out.
-
But bye weeks don't start until later in the season. There would be no TNF early on (or late in the season).
-
And of course, you are right. I stand corrected.

I think Cooper might disagree with you.

I wish either this thread would die or the OP would change the title. Sorry, it's driving me crazy.

Yes, "preventive" is fine for me, haha Your mentioning the use of "do" nowadays is a point well taken. How about "goes" instead of "says"? As in, "he goes 'how do you like that?'" And the use of the past tense of "write" ("wrote") instead of the past participle "written" (as well as other irregular verbs)? My doctor, who is about 20 years younger than I am and Brown educated, said something like "he has wrote". I had to bite my lip from saying anything, lol. I also once emailed a journalist about his usage of something similar, and he actually (and obliviously) defended what he wrote as correct. Don't get me started on "lay" vs. "lie" either. Or "submit" in mixed martial arts ("John submitted him"). Sorry, I can go on and on, as I expect you can.

Bills 35, Pittsburgh 3

"Irregardless" is one that drives me crazy. Also, the tautological syllable in "preventative".

"For more ticket information, call or write:" Yeah, this definitely the 70's, lol!

How is a new RB going to make a difference behind this OL?
chongli replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kelly ran mostly a shot gun in the 90's, and Thurman had multiple 1,000 yard rushing seasons. So did Detroit with Barry Sanders. -

I though Aaron Kromer was supposed to fix all that with his zone blocking scheme? From an article: https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/what-aaron-kromer-brings-to-the-bills-is-exactly-what-they-need: -
Opening the season with straight home games? And finishing with four out of five on the road? Opening Sunday was not until after Labor Day? Playing Green Bay in the pre-season and again in the regular season? Playing the Rams of the NFC West as well as two teams from the NFC Central? Opening at home on MNF? But they didn't move until the 80's.
