  1. That's a pretty big assumption. Jacksonville almost beat Arizona. They are still an NFL team.
  2. Speaking of Bills and Bills Mafia ads, does anyone have a clip of the ESPN/NFL promo that shows the Bills Mafia outside near a bus, two Raiders fans in a living room in face paint, that bald guy dressed in black, where there is a auditoriumful of clones of him? I looked last week, but couldn't find it.
  3. Fair statement. But, the Bills beat KC on the road; and were also a slip away from beating Tennessee...again, on the road. Let's wait for the season to play out. The Bills need to take it one game at a time. And, btw, there is no way Tennessee wins out 😉
  4. Assuming we win the division this year and Tennessee wins theirs, we will get to host them next season on our turf, so we will have a shot at redemption. Maybe sooner.
  5. Interesting point! But 5 of those 6 games were also on the road.
  6. Agreed. Just focus on winning one game at a time and win the SB. A nickname, if appropriate, will happen by itself.
  7. I'm glad they are watching, but Buffalo is more than Josh Allen. Besides. what happens if Josh is injured or no longer plays for the Bills? The Bills won't be on TV there, and stuff like Wyoming color uniforms will not work.
  8. Most of his posts seem anti-Bills.
  9. No one has mentioned Kent Hull (RIP) yet. He was undrafted by the NFL, wasn't he? And then after the USFL, he followed Marv Levy and was signed by the Bills on the same date as Jim Kelly, I assume as a free agent. --------- EDIT: Rick Gosselin in the link below says Hull followed Levy here: https://www.si.com/nfl/talkoffame/state-your-case/state-your-case-kent-hull "Levy spent a season coaching in the USFL so he was knowledgeable of the talent in that league. When Levy moved on to the Bills, he brought Hull along with him." But from my memory, and confirmed by to Pro Football Reference, Levy didn't come to Buffalo until midway through the 1986 season, when Hank Bullough was fired. And also from Pro Football Reference, Hull started here from day one of that season. So Hull couldn't have followed Levy.
  10. Yeah, the Bills win yesterday made me go back and re-watch this video. It says it all. Sorry to revive this old thread, but I love it!
  11. I searched, but this didn't come up: I was listening to The Herd with Colin Cowherd on the radio today. There was a guest host--I think Dan something? Sorry, I didn't get his name. This Dan made a few points: 1. The Chiefs being favored by only 3 points at home is bulletin board material for them, and Vegas thinks essentially both teams are equal. KC will be angry about this. 2. Josh is good but not great. He will not replicate the success he had last year. He had one great game, one good game, and two iffy ones so far. 3. But Josh doesn't need to be great, since the defense is rated number one and will carry this team. 4. It is possible the Bills will beat KC, but he said it is also possible he could grow wings and learn to fly. He said it won't happen. Ugh...but don't shoot the messenger!!
  12. I only see two teams with higher points scored than Buffalo: Tampa Bay and Arizona. Also, I wonder which team is (tied) for the NFL lead in point differential at +50 with Denver??
  13. Still very early, but I hope the (unnecessary) loss to Pittsburgh does not come back to bite us.
  14. Ahh, got it. I am sorry for your situation. My co-worker was color blind too. Thank you for explaining.
  15. The owner of that site made a change last year to make certain colors on the maps easier to read for those who are color blind (by adding stripes to those colors). Another example is when the Bills and Jets did color rush uniforms a few seasons ago--all red vs. all green--the announcer apologized for those who still had black and white TV's.
  16. Tis true. The NFL was losing more money in TV revenue than it was by getting more ticket sales. Plus, it was a good public-relations move for them. We can thank Tua for that, lol.

  18. I remember when he was on NBC in the 90's, IIRC, and he got flamed universally for announcing the clock should have been stopped when the QB spiked the ball in the shotgun. The actual said you have to be under center for the clock to stop. But in his defense, I did not know that either at the time.
  19. Yep! TD pass with Miami: Miami Special Teams Pulls Off the Wacky Trick Play TD! - YouTube
  20. Teams used to do that in the 90's or so, but switched the punter as holder since gives the backup QB more time to practice on offense. Otherwise, he would be working with special teams a lot. Besides, Bills punters have thrown special teams TD's in the past: And also for a different Moorman to Denney TD pass [see 0:35]: (1) Top 3 Bills Trick Plays | #TrickPlayThursdays | NFL - YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfslWtWZo6o
  21. I hope this applies to the Bills vs. Kansas City too!
  22. Not Bills related, but I love your user name and pic! It just made me go back and watch that scene from Episode IV on my computer, haha!
